Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Edmonton Intl Airport

It was a fine hotel. Hot tub was beoken. No ketchup at the breakfast buffet.

Room was very clean, staff very friendly..Only thing that needed improvement was there was no music in the pool area. Just a loud hissing sound from the whirl pool..Not a very relaxing atmosphere.I notified staff but I told that there was nothing they could do.

Room was very clean, staff were super friendly & their continental breakfasts were delicious! Pool & Hot tub were very well maintained. It was a quiet & safe feeling property. We will definitely be using this hotel again on future trips to Leduc / Edmonton! Thank you so much to the amazing Hampton inn staff ! Our stay was very comfortable

Room was clean, beds comfy, breakfast was mediocre. No working hot tub and the hours of operation for the pool with no life guard are ridiculous.

Staff at the hotel were fantastic. The hotel itself did not live up to our expectations. It is showing its age. In particular, the “Business Center” consists of two desks and two chairs, no computer, no printer. The carpets in the hallways and rooms were very worn. The bathroom accessibility consisted of 1 bar in the bathtub, no bars at either end to help getting into the tub or out. Thankfully, there were bars around the toilet. Normally any Hilton brand property is much better than this one. Unfortunately we are not likely to stay at this property again. However we will continue to choose to stay at Hilton properties.

Airport shuttle took 65 minutes from the time called to the time it arrived at the hotel. Really I would have take alternate transport if I knew it would take that time but each time we called I was assured it would be there shortly. The hotel is a little dated and even there sign is not fully lit up with missing bulbs. It is not living up to the Hilton chains image at all. Even the staff were wearing tattered outfits. If you look at the value for the price paid it is adequate, but compound that with the shuttle issues and the property needing a significant update, you can do better elsewhere.

The amenities were great. From the 24 hour coffee, the hot tub/pool, and an amazing breakfast set up!

While somewhat convenient to the airport, the property desperately needs a refresh. Carpets were threadbare, furniture was degraded, fitness equipment minimal and in disrepair. Couch cushions were flattened. Breakfast area was closed (doors were shut) after hours which felt unwelcoming and while some coffee was in the lobby, there were only 2–hot water and light roast. Decaf was behind locked doors. The staff were lovely. The in-room TV had minimal offerings, and was difficult to navigate. No local news. The breakfast was adequate although lacking the variety experienced in other Hamptons. We travel frequently, but we won’t return to this particular property.

The hotel is in dire need of upgrading/updating. My understanding is that this will be commencing soon. The pool area needs a thorough cleaning as there is loose hair, debris, etc on the pool deck. Also there is a collection of sand? at the bottom of the pool and hot tub. The jets in the hot tub do not function. The phone in the pool area does not work (attempted to call front desk from there to report a mess in the bathroom that needed tending too). The floors are very thin and we could hear every footstep from the people staying in the room above us. The breakfast was ok, not alot of variety. There was alot of spilled food in and around the breakfast serving area that was not being cleaned up.

Well room is HUGE which with 4 kids is epic...only errrr is the place needs some TLC...hot tub jets are not working...business centre is down...water fountain on main floor is broke slso...think attention is warranted...but will haunt here agsin...first stay

Rooms were clean and a good size. Pool area was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet was good, lots of selection. Good sound proofing, once in the rooms you couldn't hear the outside noise. Location was good, right off the highway. Room prices were affordable. Definitely will be back.

Property was in a really bad state. Torned out curtains, smelly carpets, wallpapers getting ripped from walls.

Room not cleaned properly and room equipments not working properly

The hotel was filthy right from the front doors to the room . So dirty we did not stay and got room elsewhere. They also didn’t refund my room damage deposit of $100 or even Offer a refund of any kind on the room

Room and bedding were dirty. Springs on the chair were exposed. Black dirt under the covers. Carpet had crumbs and dirt all over it. Will NEVER stay here again.

Overall this Hotel needs a refresh and is dirty. Carpet on my floor was worn, dirty and buckled in areas. Elevator carpet very dirty.

Could definitely use a more thorough cleaning when turning rooms over. Had some nasty stuff on the walls by the bathroom. Staff was very friendly.

Very dirty hair covered furniture and floor! Terribly disappointed

The room I was booked in was very dirty. We had a pet with us and I spent the first hour chasing him around with things he found on the floor lots of food under the beds carpets were dirty etc.

Seemed ok at check in, but the elevator and hallways smelled pretty bad…. Was thinking maybe it’s due to the very old carpet in those areas, perhaps. The room didn’t smell too bad and was clean. Top comforters looked pretty worn out with snags and such. Minor things in the room included one burnt out light in the bathroom and the sink was clogged and took a while to drain. The shower curtain barely reached the tub, so always worried would get water everywhere. The curtains didn’t close all the way so there was an annoying crack of sunlight right in our face in the morning. There was also no clock in the room, which was odd. All in all it was ok, but definitely could use some upgrades.

We had a smooth and pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton near Edmonton International Airport. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with handy extras like a mini-fridge and microwave. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, with plenty of hot and cold options. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a reliable and family-friendly option we’d happily book again.

The a/c couldn’t just be turned on. So it was on and off all night long. And everytime it was off it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. I got the room because I wanted to be rested for my morning flight. However I was not very rested.

Comfortable bed! Spacious!

I loved the room: spacious, comfortable bed, cleanliness, and all the necessary amenities made my stay comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection and a pleasant atmosphere. A wonderful place that I highly recommend!

The room is not sound proof at all, Could hear people walking upstairs and thru the halls.

Very noisy - loud guests next to and across from me, located next to train tracks Room needs to be updated, very difficult to get into shower due to high bathtub Front desk clerk in the morning was not helpful during checkout when I asked him questions Airport shuttle was close to 10 minutes late, driver did not help with luggage and refused to drive me to the United terminal, said he only does one stop at the airport. I was almost late for my flight due to his tardiness and having to drag my luggage through the snow to get to my terminal at the other end of the airport.

the room is clean. the flooring could use an upgrade, the bed is a bit box springy, and the pillows are an awful feathered kind - not a good quality. the towels are tiny and crunchy. and the shower curtains are not long enough and you can easily get water leakage...

Mattress and pillows are horrible. Springs or coils are broken or worn, felt very uncomfortable. Pillows are flat and old. Staff is friendly and accommodating, but the room needs updating!

Check-in was horrible. I booked the room through Hotels.com but I then needed to change my check-in date and the hotel agreed to the change through Hotels.com. When I arrived they didn't have a booking on file and still had my old booking as a no show. It took an hour to clear up and was midnight, not impressed at all. Bathrooms need updating/attention. Bed was comfortable.

The Staff are very professional in their service especially Mr Chris. He was Very helpful.

Very friendly staffs

When I arrived on the night of the 29th around 11:30pm , the front desk staff member was extremely rude. He yelled at me after realizing I didn’t have a credit card, even though I provided an online debit card recently issued by banks. His exact words were, “I’m not going to use something that is just online or paper,” even though the card clearly showed my name and l explained him how it works. The next morning, I realized I was missing one of my earbuds. When I asked him about it, he told me that someone had thrown it in the garbage,which could have been him. I ended up picking my earbud out of the trash. Items like this should be placed in lost and found, not the garbage. Overall, I felt completely unwelcome throughout my stay. The behavior I experienced was unprofessional and discriminatory. I will never return.

The best service I ever had . Forgot my medicine in the fridge , they called me right away and the manager Mich drove to the airport to bring it to me . Fantastic staff . I would recommend this hotel in Leduc anytime

Room was fine. Staff at front desk were indifferent rather than friendly at check-in. Plus, they gave us the wrong room number. However, they did apologize for that when we returned to the front desk.

The desk clerk was very rude, not sure if she was the manager or not. We arrived an hour early for check in and were told to come back at 3. We sat in our vehicle to wait and watched as people were coming in from the shuttle buses, so we went back in to see them being checked in to their rooms. Thankfully there was another desk clerk on and he was very friendly and helpful. Our whole vacation we had no problems with early check-ins from all the hotels we visited except this one. We were more appalled by the way she treated us. Will definitely be staying in different hotel on our next visit.

Staff are terrific. Very friendly and professional. The facility overall is clean and tidy but in need of a refresh. Furniture and floors are worn and have seen better days. However, beds are nice and firm and great for sleeping. Hotel is conveniently located near the airport with a very handy shuttle.

Was near airport and railway so there is noise from those.

The staff were friendly and check in/out was quick. The carpet in the hallways and in the room are definitely needing replacing. There were multiple lights burnt out on the outside of the building. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. The location is perfect and it’s a short drive to the outlet mall for shopping.

Room dates, sheets not soft, obvious wear and tear all over the room. Beds were good. Breakfast was awful. All the food wasn’t refilled and what was there was old and cold. No spoons. Messy. Realize hotel was busy but having empty chaffing dishes for over half hour with a room full of diners is not acceptable. Had a pice of toast and some canned fruit. Unfortunate.

Room was clean but old… carpet outside the room were old. Service was awesome and breakfast was great. They have waffles with chocolate syrup, Oreos crumbs and such for kids to go with waffles. Overall really good price for the room and it was clean.

We chose this hotel due to our previous experience at a nearby Hampton Inn, (Sherwood Park), the night prior, which we highly recommend. In fact, we were willing to pay a bit extra for an expected repeat. But this airport location was unfortunately a stark difference. It’s more run down - which you take that with a grain of salt. However, in the mrng, we stood amongst a large number of people who were there half an hour or more, prior to breakfast being over, looking at an empty buffet, and being told nothing was going to be replenished. There were people leaving frustrated. For the families we saw waiting before catching a flight, it would prove to be highly frustrating and costly for them to have to go elsewhere to feed their kids (and probably at the airport). This breakfast set up was highly disappointing compared to the Sherwood Park location. My review is more about how this hotel staffs their team - it’s apparent that the quality of your team sets up your success. In this case, the team I saw wasn’t prepared, or knew how to navigate this mishap well. The staff probably got a lot of angry comments today, but I think it boils down to management doing a better job at the hiring and training stage. If you can find your way to the Sherwood Park location, go there. You’ll be pleased! This location worked, but it will not be a repeat for us.

I would have probably rated a bit higher but the free breakfast was a big let down. Excuse “we ran out of eggs because it was busy on the weekend”. No eggs for breakfast and when I inquired nothing was offered so all I ate were the breakfast sausages

The breakfast menu had not so many options and there are not fruits available . The DINNING are did not look as clean and fresh . Had a constant odour . The hotel needs and overall renovation .

The breakfast . Everything was unavoidable 20 minutes before the ending time. The lady who was there to help was very aggressive and her response to my husband when he asked her about a cup of tea was impolite . She rewind the day

Breakfast was very good. Staff pleasant and overall clean but needs some upkeep. Carpet in our room was stained bathroom needs paint the vanity was worn as well as the bathroom door.
