The mature gardens and classic building style ensures this hotel to be a favourite for many people and this gave it a sense of quiet and peace. The pool area was lovely. I did not use the restaurant, however the bar snacks were good. The view to the beach is stunning and the position is good although a 35 minute walk into town. Perhaps some bathroom extras would be appreciated by some such as shampoo/ shower gel. Overall a lovely stay and reception staff were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend.

Modern room, large balcony with awesome sea/beach view. Very nice bathroom. 3 swimming pools with lots of seating, grounds are well kept and very tidy. Reception staff are very friendly. Plenty of parking. Location is good - it's about a 30-40 minute walk into Lagos, but if you wanted to drive there is plenty of free parking around. An hour's drive from Faro airport. The beach is a two minute walk, and there is a boardwalk coast route to Ponta da Piedade within walking distance too. The only things I can think to improve were the bed - not the most comfortable, it was two firm single mattresses pushed together. Also from a self catering point of view, there weren't many dishes / utensils, eg no bowls or spatula for some reason. Served us well as a base to explore the Algarve, would definitely recommend!

Kleine Mängel waren Ameisen im Zimmer und dass das Zimmer in unserem Zeitraum von 5 Tagen nur 2x gereinigt wurde, so dass sich in einem Apartment mit Selbstversorgungsmöglichkeit doch einiges an Müll ansammelt. Auch im Umkreis war fußläufig nicht viel zu erreichen, so dass man auf einen Mietwagen oder Taxi angewiesen ist. Insgesamt aber sehr schöne Anlage und Preis- Leistung top!

Lovely resort with well-maintained gardens and excellent facilities. The apartment was fully equipped and ideal for a family with small children. Its location—close to the beach with a beautiful view—combined with great service makes this accommodation something we can highly recommend.

The accommodation was in walking distance to a great beach. The waves were perfect for surfers. It took half an hour to walk into town which is fine for us as we like walking. There are also a couple of great coastal walks. We walked one which took you into Lagos. The apartment was spacious and reasonably equipped. The kitchen however does not have an oven which makes cooking a bit more difficult. Beds made on most days and apartment cleaned regularly. Nice pool area but beds not very comfortable. Would recommend.

Beautiful hotel on the cliff overlooking the ocean. 200m walk to a lovely beach and just 1km to the ponta de piedade viewpoint. Apartment was very d had all the amenities we needed. Pool was excellent with plenty of shaded seating. We enjoyed half price drinks at happy hoir

Wir hatten einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und modern. Das Apartment hatte zwei Balkone mit einem schönen Meerblick. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Zum Meer wäre es nur ein paar Meter.

Wir haben uns in dieser Unterkunft vom ersten bis zum letzten Tag sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Ein schöner Strand ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

We loved close access to the beach and cliffs. Easy access to the bus and a small grocery store was within walking distance. The gardens of the resort are beautiful! However, the bathrooms in the apartments need to be updated. They are old and need repairs. Otherwise the apartments we’re comfortable.

We did not like the ants that was in the apartment, especially in the bathroom area. Reception staff are professional. Although we did not use the restaurant but i was there every morning for a cup of coffee. The restaurant staff could be more friendlier. One recommendation in the apartment, if possible, add some condiments essentials like salt, pepper and olive oil, paper napkin as a kitchen amenity.

The hotel needs a renovation but overall it is still a good deal if you have a room with seaview, this makes up for some shortcomings. The interior of the room is dated but decent, except for the sofabed, this is bad. The breakfast is good but after a few days it gets monotonous. The hotel is near a beautiful beach but there isn't much to do in walking distance.

Had a wonderful stay at this property for 4 nights. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The room was clean and with fairly well equipped kitchenette. The best part was the incredible views and acces to the beach. I spent a lot of time on the patio just enjoying the sun. I would definitely stay again

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, die Ausstattung der Küche liess zu wünschen übrig. Es gab weder Backofen noch Mikrowelle, die Bratpfanne war kaum zu gebrauchen.Der Schlafraum war gut ausgestattet und auch das Bett war in Ordnung.

The location is great. Very close to a nice beach. The staff was very helpful with tour bookings and local recommendations. The property grounds are nice. The rooms are large and well ventilated with big bathrooms. Lots of space for family time. The downer was the room furnishings. The beds and bedding are sub-standard and really need updating. The lack of comfy bed and nice sheets negates all the other good points. The hotel can really use updating the furniture and furnishings.

Die Aussicht vom Balkon der Premium-Apartements ist phänomenal. Diese sind recht klein, Küche zweckmäßig, aber alles ist frisch renoviert, hervorragende Betten, und es ist dort sehr ruhig. Die Anlage ist sehr grün und gepflegt, sauber, entspannt und einladend. Der wunderschöne Strand nur ein paar Schritte entfernt, man kann auch wunderbar auf den Klippen spazieren gehen. Insb. wenn man auf Selbstverpflegung setzt, ist ein Auto allerdings sehr ratsam, die größeren Supermärkte sind ein paar Kilometer weit entfernt. Das Restaurant haben wir nicht ausprobiert, nur Snacks, Eis und Getränke, der Kaffee dort war leider ungenießbar. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert, es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, eines der wenigen Premium-Appartements zu buchen und schon den (selbstgekochten) Frühstückskaffee mit Blick auf die frühen Schwimmer am Strand zu genießen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The reception and staff were all very friendly and gave us some helpful tips. The kids loved the proximity to the world class beach as well as to a lively yet laid back town. We were sad to leave.

Had a great room in Vila 1 overlooking tge beach. Very nice hotel. The only thing We didn't like was the reastaurants buffet option. First of all the selection and the tast was not worth 25 euro. Second of all ordering 2 drinks and both came out wrong. Service could have been better at restaurant.

We had a great stay at Clube Porto Mos. Our rooms were spacious and had all of the amenities in the kitchen that we required for our stay. The hotel had two restaurants within walking distance on the beach and close to trails for walking. The bus stop into town was conveniently located and easy to manage. The front desk staff were very friendly and eager to assist with our questions. This hotel has a deal with a rental car agency with very responsible rates and they deliver the car and pick up the car right from the hotel, that was an amazing perk for us. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We did not like the ants that was in the apartment, especially in the bathroom area. Reception staff are professional. Although we did not use the restaurant but i was there every morning for a cup of coffee. The restaurant staff could be more friendlier. One recommendation in the apartment, if possible, add some condiments essentials like salt, pepper and olive oil, paper napkin as a kitchen amenity.

We are a family of 4 and booked a garden view apartment. We cooked in the apartment which is very well equipped. The hotel is in a beautiful setting in a cliff over an amazing beach which is a 5 minute walk. There is a bar by the pool serving all sorts of food. Lagos is a 50 minute walk through the scenic route passing Ponta da Piedade/Praia do Camilo/Praia de Dona Ana, some of the “must see sites” in Algarve. You can also catch a bus to Lagos, stop is by the beach. Lagos is a beautiful town with loads of great restaurants and bars. Very safe and quiet during low/shoulder season, we were there in April. The only downside is the slightly uncomfortable sofa bed but not the worst I’ve seen. We loved the place and hope to be back soon. Highly recommended.

The best thing about Hotel Clube Porto Mos is it's location. Glorious sea view on top of the cliffs, beach a couple of minutes walk (with 2 excellent fish restaurants, reasonably priced), and yet only 2 miles from the town (only €4 for Uber). Thoroughly recommended; I didn't see any other hotel in the area that I would have rather have been, thank you.

Modern room, large balcony with awesome sea/beach view. Very nice bathroom. 3 swimming pools with lots of seating, grounds are well kept and very tidy. Reception staff are very friendly. Plenty of parking. Location is good - it's about a 30-40 minute walk into Lagos, but if you wanted to drive there is plenty of free parking around. An hour's drive from Faro airport. The beach is a two minute walk, and there is a boardwalk coast route to Ponta da Piedade within walking distance too. The only things I can think to improve were the bed - not the most comfortable, it was two firm single mattresses pushed together. Also from a self catering point of view, there weren't many dishes / utensils, eg no bowls or spatula for some reason. Served us well as a base to explore the Algarve, would definitely recommend!

Nice apartment, excellent sea view. Putting the two single beds into a double was requested. It was done straight away but they did not appear to have big enough sheets to cover the whole bed so had to use two single sheets overlapping. Same with the bottom sheets, surely they can get bigger sheets for this request? Breakfast was a little disappointing too. The cafe on the beach was nicer food, hotter and cheaper. Hope this changes for our stay in May.

The mature gardens and classic building style ensures this hotel to be a favourite for many people and this gave it a sense of quiet and peace. The pool area was lovely. I did not use the restaurant, however the bar snacks were good. The view to the beach is stunning and the position is good although a 35 minute walk into town. Perhaps some bathroom extras would be appreciated by some such as shampoo/ shower gel. Overall a lovely stay and reception staff were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend.

The hotel needs a renovation but overall it is still a good deal if you have a room with seaview, this makes up for some shortcomings. The interior of the room is dated but decent, except for the sofabed, this is bad. The breakfast is good but after a few days it gets monotonous. The hotel is near a beautiful beach but there isn't much to do in walking distance.

Clube Porto Mos was an excellent accommodation. Ocean & Cliff views, 6 minute walk to the beach and an incredible pool. Very kid friendly. The staff was amazing. The food and drink was also really good.
