The location got us there… beachfront in a small town away from the crowds. The staff and comfortable room and common space made it a home away from home. Thanks for a lovely getaway!

El Cuyo is very quiet. A place to go and relax, not for parties or instagramers. The hotel was great, excellent staff. Nice pool and directly on the beach. All you hear are waves and birds

Excelente hotel, bella ubicación frente a la playa. Total tranquilidad.

So relaxing place! Everything about this place is a 100%! I hope El Cuyo will stay like this forever and not turn into what Holbox is today. The hotel is right at the beach, nice sunbeds. Breakfast is everything you need for a good start. Sunrise is stunning, we walked the beach almost every morning.

Newer boutique hotel. Very clean. Very kind and accommodating staff. A few steps from the beautiful, mostly empty beach. They have starlink WiFi service which is a plus. Restaurant is delicious.

The place was a bit hard to find in the dark, but place lovely, rooms were clean, (bed was a bit hard for my taste), food, drinks and dining room were Great. The view was awesome.

This hotel was perfect in a way; there are a few notes ill make that i hope the ownerS can take into considerationThe reception had african masks and i thought maybe the owner is french. The arrival was a bit disastrous. No receptionist, no bell, no one in site. I waited roughly 20 minutes rather than being in the water before sunset which was my aim. When they guy arrived he didn't apologize and the worst part is that he took a girl that arrived after me and she was already checked in and had tons of questions for her ride to Cancun the next day.. which i felt was inappropriate considering i arrived first and i had not checked in. As the check in continued, the receptionist said he liked my eyes (ok fine) and then asked my age (so strange). Then he walked me to my room that was tight (not a lot of space to walk around) and he stayed there for over ten minutes (not exaggerating !!!) showing me the fan and the bathroom and telling me no one could see in the window in the bathroom and touching my shirt to show me i can hang my clothes... i mean come on.. who doesnt know what a hanger is. He finally left me alone but it was a little uncomfortable. I don't think he meant anything bad but it wasn't professional. Now for access to the rooms, there is a large step. If you have a leg or knee problem, it's a steep step. I am not sure why they didn't just add a smaller step like they did to get to breakfast. Hotel is really pretty and staff is extremely nice and helpful. our bed was comfortable and breakfast and coffee were great! Our room smelled a little like sewer but we understand that the hotel is the middle of nowhere and it can happen. They provide air freshner and it workout great. We had to change our reservation and although it is impossible to reach them by phone they are very responsive to emails. Highly recommend!!!

Veldig søtt lite hotell. Damen i resepsjonen var super hyggelig og hjalp oss masse! Rommet var rent og stort. Litt hard seng, men de fleste i Mexico er det😅 Middagen på hotellet var også sykt bra! Frokosten var helt ok. Den inkluderte frokosten var ikke helt til å skryte av. Det tok også en del tid å få mat her.

El hotel e instalaciones están muy bien; desafortunadamente en ninguna parte de la descripción del hotel indican que es un hotel solo para adultos y que las habitaciones son para 2 personas únicamente. Viajamos 2 adultos con 1 niño de 12 años y no se nos permitió quedarnos los 3 en la habitación. Pésima empatía por parte del personal. Deberían poner esas especificaciones en la descripción del hotel para que las familias podamos tomar una decisión correcta al seleccionar hotel para vacacionar.
