A beautiful property but hotel was poorly staffed. This is not a 5 start property -Did not honor reservation arrangements. -Did not honor executive benefits. Got placed on standard room -Got locked out of room multiple times due to door not working properly. (When traveling with kids this is horrible). -Son was sick, staff did not answer the phone in the middle of night when he needed help. -No room service. Order water for sick son. Had to go downstairs to get it ourselves -No good comunication between front desk and restaurant. -No hot water in the room - No heating in the room -Jacuzzi never worked. Luxury is not a priority. But family safety is and due to staff not answering the phone when help was needed and during stressful times, that was very scary.

En general todo bien las instalaciones están muy completas y modernas las areas verdes muy bien. La habitación me gustó mucho por ser de dos ambientes con acceso al jardín. Los unicos detalles 1 las habitaciones necesitan ser fumugadas porque tienen muchos insectos que se entran del jardín viaje con mi hijo recién nacido y por ese motivo me preocupe mucho porque encontramos arañas en la cama. 2 Es necesario que en un hotel de esa categoría tenga acceso para silla de ruedas. 3 El hotel está en una area donde el frío se hace notar y para ir a la piscina es muy incómodo porque el agua no es climatizada. 4 El desayuno tiene que ser más completo. Place needed major updating … although clean had a smell that we couldn’t place… like water damage covered up by air freshener. Coffee shop on sight didn’t open until after 8am… Bar was small and not well supplied. Everything was a cab ride away nothing within walking distance.

The hotel is an oasis of beauty in a very large city. The level of comfort and luxury is above most in Guatemala City. I have been there many times and would recommend the Hilton Guatemala City to anyone needing a break from a long day in the city.

There are no refrigerators in the room as when it was the Vista Real. Now that it is Hilton they have taken out the amenities we loved like free water in the room. It is a nice place but for the difficulties with the traffic and its distance to everything, it is no longer a priority on as a place to stay for myself or my family.

I requested a new room and got 416, which was MUCH better! It was over floor up and more "inside," the hotel than the odd numbered rooms that hovered above the street. The restaurant was great and again, all staff were friendly. You will need a car or Uber ride to get off and on the property unless you want to walk next to a highway. Odd city design.

My wife and I were lounging at the pool and my wife caught some guy behind a tree snapping photos of her. He ran and hid inside the bathroom and locked the door. I was banging on the door, then told an employee what happened using google translate. The employee said he would take care of it, then we heard NOTHING else about it and no one bothered to contact us. Made my wife and I feel so good n safe and gross.

Hello, I arrived at my resort and the staff was not very friendly. They told me my reservation was cancelled because of a no show. I contacted the resort two times before my trip i would show up the following morning after 7 am. My mother also called and confirmed this over the phone. The staff was rude to my mother and not very polite towards me. I found my stay at the AC Marriot in Cayala complely different. I appreciate you reaching out to me, I will not consider this hotel for future visits. Thank you.

I was disappointed with my experience. I paid for a room with two queen beds, but we were placed in a room with one king bed instead. The front desk said the reservation only showed one adult, though I’m not sure if the app asked for that information or not, either way, the booking clearly stated two queen beds. They tried to resolve the issue by bringing in a rollaway bed, but that wasn’t what I paid for 😒

Antonio works as concierge, front desk, and bellman. He is everywhere and so efficient and professional. His support was the highlight of my experience at the Hilton. He should be the front end manager! Customer service is his priority and it shows.

The Hilton in Guatemala City was safe, clean and updated. The architecture and gardwn was beautiful. There is nothing really for tourists to do or see in this area. There was a small mall and a Walmart a few minutes down the road. Use Uber. They are cheaper and easier to get. Taxis are difficult to get at this hotel.

This was a very safe and mostly quiet property away outside of the city. While we were next to a busy street, we were still within a safe zone. Not walkable, and you must have private transportation, overall it was a nice experience.

Arrived at 10 pm on 12/29/24 we were welcome by a nice receptionist who attended our needs and explained restaurant times, money exchange, wifi, pool time, second day i ordered room service and they have a nice server named Fabio he was so polite, we would explain our breakfast every day i stayed 6 nights with my son and every day we had breakfast in our room, house keeper made sure our room was clean and beds made, my son and i had the most wonderful time in this hotel, i definitely recommend you to stay here, its affordable and beautiful.
