Motel 6-Williams, AZ - West - Grand Canyon

Property was unkept and not maintained. Room had an odor and was not clean. Outside was unsightly. For the cost was definitely not worth the money. Pool and spa were closed, appeared that they had been for a while. Did not see that when I booked the rooms. Television did not work 90% of the time. Air conditioner had a broken knob but was still able to manage adjusting it to cool the room. Will not be staying again.

It was very basic. No microwave or fridge. No maid service or elevator. The rooms were large so that was nice. It was easy to get in & out of & within walking distance of the grocery store & downtown.

The pool was closed but I was not notified in advance. They didn't offer a discount for the pool closure. The rear door close to my room didn't lock and the cleaning service people kept the exit door open while cleaning. It had dirty ordor and the faucet water was not cold enough. Overall, it was a trash.

No pool. No hot tub. Room was old and dingy. Stained blankets.

Upon arriving I was told I would have to be let in to my room each time by a staff member. Because they couldn’t process a key card due to card machine being broken . Loud noises all night long , phone making a clicking noise until unplugged , very loud air conditioner which kicks on -off eveey 10 mins … someone pushing a bucket all night to get cleaning done very loud at 3-4 am … caulking in shower gross and dirty and black mold growing in upper right corner or shower area , toilet seats yellowed and needing replaced . The room had a funky odor to it like someone had smoked prior. BOOKING WEBSITE CLAIMS THEY HAVE A WORKING POOL BUT HASNT WORKED IN YEARS APPARENTLY??? Back door to hotel open all night kinda unsafe …will never stay at a motel 6 again haha I should have known . Staff was very nice and it’s not their fault but this place needs a major makeover ..

When we arrived the key card machine was broken. We had no key for half of the stay. The pool was under "maintenance." The bathroom tub had a huge patch and was pretty much black at the bottom. Disgusting! Don't stay here. The only hotel I have ever been to where I wanted to cancel my stay and find somewhere else.

It was difficult to haul our luggage and stuff to the second floor without an elevator. There was no elevator in the building. The indoor pool and spa were out of order, which was a disappointment for the kids. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. Many of the outlets need to be replaced as I couldn't keep my wall chargers in them. I guess you get what you paid for; it was a very basic room, but pretty clean and spacious though.

Great Place to stay for the canyon. Rooms are basic but clean, pool was closed while we were there but not a big deal. Good price. Not trying to gouge tourists like some of the other options in the area.

The hotel needs an refresh, tiles coming up on the floor and just not great appearance. The hot tub was out of service. No coffee or microwave in the rooms.

There were hair on the bedsheets.

The price was good for this hotel, however, cleanliness is absent. The first night was terrible as the bed made me itch all over. We were also on the 1st floor and folks on the 2nd floor was running all over and the noise was very annoying. Everything in this facility was very old. The only thing that was offered for breakfast is coffee. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Dirty bathroom, long hair in shower area. Had to go to family dollar buy cleaning supplies to clean it. Nasty smelly place

Lots of mold in the bathroom in several places. Hard for the cleaning person to miss. Window had been cracked and duct taped. Basic amenities included soap and limited towels for three people. I have stayed in other Motel 6s on the East Coast that were extremely clean, with refrigerators and more than a simple bar of soap (hair dryers, lotion, etc.)

This is a Motel 6, they are not fancy but basic lodging. This was a one night stay and part of a longer trip. The hotel was very clean but as to be expected no frills. We would absolutely stay again if in the area.

Staff was great, the room had cobwebs on the ceiling, the tub looked stained and the remote for the tv did not work correctly.

Sheets were like gauze. Stains showing through. Pulled back the covers and there was a clump of hair on the sheet. Room smelled. However, the hot water worked with good pressure and the ac worked as well. Noisy.

The pool was closed for repairs so we were unable to use it for our stay. That was one of the things my family was most looking forward to so it was a majorly huge disappointment. We checked in anyway beacuse i didn't want to waste any of our short vacation time dealing with last minute changes. We immediately left and spent the evening out since the pool was unusable, so i didn't notice how disgusting the bathroom was until i used it the next morning. There was visible lotion or soap or something on the back of the door, the walls were absolutely filty like they had never been wiped off once. I hope it wasnt poop on the walls, but it was light brown and near the toilet. The bathroom fan wasnt working so there was mold all over the edges of the ceiling. Room 119 in case the front desk clerk didnt let maintenance know like she said she would. There is a beer bottle opener attached to the walls and in the morning daylight, there was visible beer stains dripping to the floor along that wall also. Thankfully, other than the bathroom, the room and beds were reasonably clean and neat. I would definitely not return to this hotel or even recommend it to my enemies.

The beds and floors creaked like crazy. You could hear everything through the walls. The shower was very moldy and the window was cracked but sealed with duct tape.

Property was very clean. Our room was very clean and spacious. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. However there’s no amenities in the rooms, no safe, no microwave, no refrigerator. There was a big gap under the door which we could hear everything and everyone going on in the hallway. The upstairs folks were very noisy. We could hear the water pipes from the bathrooms next door. Walls were kinda of thin. Beds are a bit old. Tv was way too small and screen was very dark. Toilet was old and it smelled a bit of urine and the seat was wobbly. Water pressure was great though. It was very walkable to all the shops and restaurants which was great. It’s good for a couple nights if all you’re going to do is use it to sleep and not stay in your room the whole day. This is my honest review

Adequate accommodations, but it was all we needed for our stay. Nothing spectacular about this hotel. It is a bare bones place. The room was clean and roomy. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and the towels were average.

If you’re just looking for a cheap, clean place to crash for the night, Motel 6 in Williams, AZ will get the job done. The room was very clean and sterile, which I appreciated since I didn’t have to worry about bugs or grime, but everything was incredibly outdated and barebones. The bed was clearly cheap and not very comfortable, though I was able to get some sleep. There are almost no amenities. No shampoo or conditioner, just two tiny bars of soap. No coffee maker, no fridge, no microwave, no breakfast, no gym, no pool. Just a cup of coffee in the lobby and some very slow Wi-Fi. That said, if you’re just passing through and need somewhere clean and affordable to lay your head for a night, it works. Just don’t expect anything more. I’m giving it three stars because it’s passable but not great.

You can hear EVERYTHING. The beds are uncomfortable. The gentlemen who checked us in was very friendly and informative about nearby restaurants.

Very clean. I really appreciated that. Unfortunately it is so loud. They have hardwood floors instead of carpet so you can hear literally EVERYTHING! But… totally worth it for the price. I would go back again if the price stayed the way it is. Workers were very sweet.

Fantastic guy working the front desk! Extremely knowledgeable about the town giving great recommendations and gave us free plastic ware when we forgot some!

The Service of the Hotel Clerk was Terrible!! Room initially we received had a “Beeping” Smoke Alarm. She was annoyed when we mentioned it to her. Gave us another Room (No Maintenance Available?!) The Second Room the Air Conditioner was screeching!! She made the Comment “You don’t the Air Conditioner, it was going to 59 Degrees!!She was upset because we complained. She offered a Third Room which was upstairs and my Boyfriend is handicapped. We asked for a Refund and she said it was past the 24 Hours??!! We decided to stay and she called our Room saying we had to call to cancel. We reluctantly decided to stay… Bathroom was horrendous with Mold around the Tub and the Door and Frame had Claw Marks. No Hot Water. Definitely would not staying Room!! No Cameras outside so none of the Staff would have noticed a Group of Men hanging out in Parking Lot smoking Marijuana!! Thankfully we had no Kids!!

I never got to stay at the property. The front desk clerk (night shift), Benjamin, cancelled the reservation and when when we showed up, he said my wife asked him to cancel it. Actually, she said we were an hour out and we're going to make it through the storm. When we arrived, he said the internet was down. He then got upset when my wife called him out on his mistake. He then began cussing her out and told us to leave. He banged his fists on the table. I wanted to called the owner. He said the owner was here and he would get him. He went down the hall, came back, and said the owner wanted us out. He said the owner was in the hot tub and wouldn't see us. This is just before midnight during a snow storm. Anyway, my wife called the police and they came by and Ben's anger continued. The officer said he had dealt with Ben before....on a professional level. What kind of people are staffing this place. Ben then said he would take my ID from me and have me banned. I said go ahead, try and take it. He then settled back down. Ahhhhh...the real Ben showed up. I ended up staying next store at the Comfort Inn. Even they know about Ben.

The only thing was the key card wouldn’t work each time I returned from exploring town. I had to go down to the front desk and get a new one each time. The staff was great and accommodating. It was just inconvenient. Other than that a great stay.

The heat worked well and wasn’t loud. The next morning, I could walk to a diner that served an excellent breakfast and I got back on the road.

We stayed 2 nights and were surprised that they did not take the trash out or freshen the room the second day. They did not mention when we checked in that we had to request service or explain that they did not provide any cleaning on the 2nd day.

Got woke up at 3:00 am by hotel front desk saying our reservation was not confirmed even though checking in and given a room key at 8 pm. He then proceeded to beat on our door and tell us he needed a payment. I got dressed and went down front and showed him the receipt from Hotels.com and he said they didn’t receive payment from Hotel.com and I needed to provide payment. I was ok with that but could they not have taken care of thet at checkout. I went back to office to check out at 8:30 am and stood around until 9:15 am and nobody was at front desk. Myself and another patron dropped our keys in basket and left without the option of handing keys off to an actual person. I don’t know what to think. This has never happened using Hotels.com so was it just the hotel. Either way waking up someone at 3:00 am is ridiculous and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Clean motel. Very convenient. A short walk to Safeway and downtown shopping. Nice town to stop at near Grand Canyon.

Perfect location with walking distance to shops , brewery and restaurants.

Was a great spot on the main strip of Williams, AZ. Everything on the main strip was within walking distance.

Spacious lobby. Room could use some touching up but clean nonetheless. Easy walk to shops, restaurants. Nice little park across the street. Location just far away enough from the busy center of town.

Alot to see a nice quiet area to stay about an hour from grand canyon ntl park! Beautiful area!

When I checked in I was told there was coffee & tea in the lobby from 7-10am, when I asked where the coffee was at 9am I was told it was gone! Not very happy about that!

I liked the location and the cleanliness. I thought the parking lot and the location was safe. The only negative was no coffee in the room but they had coffee in the lobby.

Good choice for my trip. Great value for money and I should stayed one more night instead of go to Las Vegas. The room was big, comfortable and clean. The hotel is one hour far from Grand Canyon National Park and three hours far from Las Vegas. The city Williams is amazing with a lot of restaurants.

Had a great stay. Extremely close to all of the store and restaurants. Shower was good. Would stay again. No complaints.

We had a good 1 night stay on our way to the Grand Canyon...cute little town with lots of restaurants...shopping..grocery store and more in walking distance..hotel was clean and beds were comfy

Very basic accommodations. No fridge or microwave as noted on website. Management stated its only in suite rooms. This should state on website and also coffee and tea not in rooms but in the lobby.
