Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Savannah Downtown Historic District

Everything was amazing and the staff is excellent! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They recognize your needs and go beyond to fulfill them. I booked here to be close to downtown and pamper my aunt who is always pampering me. So glad I did! Breakfast was delicious as well!

Only valet parking. Desk staff were not friendly. Not rude, just not friendly.

A few blocks from stop 1 of Olde Yowne Trolley. Valet parking was excellent. Would stay there again. Very good breakfast, many choices.

The property was close to everything we did while visiting Savannah. The rooms were very clean, and beautiful! I gave the staff a 3 stars while we were visiting we met two very nice staff members, one while eating breakfast, he was cleaning, and filling everything- he was incredibly polite, and very attentive! The other was a gentleman that was checking guests in- however we did not end up with him. He was very friendly, and helpful to the guest he was checking in. We had a slightly different experience with the lady that checked us in. She was rude, and not very helpful. The next morning seemed to have the same issue. We are not high maintenance guest either- we simply asked about parking while checking in, and handed our key in to the desk in the morning. I hate to write anything negative- the hotel is definitely worth checking out, and I could only hope we just caught some of the staff on an off day.
