Lite svårt att hitta, då ingången ligger några meter in på Ferkens Gränd. Incheckning från kl. 15.00, men vårt rum var inte klart, trots att vi anlände 15.20. Vi väntade ännu 10 minuter. En bordslampa stod i fönstret, men lampskärmen låg under sängen. Rummet var pyttelitet men det stod i rumspresentationen vid bokning. Fint och fräscht badrum, men bara en stor flaska med något som gällde för schampo, duschcreme m m. Omärkt dessutom, så det kunde varit vad som helst. Utsikt mot Skeppsbron och vattnet, på markplan. Stördes inte av trafiken. Sängarna var bekväma men kuddarna löst stoppade för vår smak, men det det är ju en smaksak. Skapligt stor TV som var uppsatt högt upp i ett hörn. Gemensamt kylskåp i korridoren. Bredvid fanns vattenbehållare och möjlighet att brygga eget kaffe och te. Inga läslampor. Mycket fin bevarad inredning från 1600-talet, men modernt uppiffat. Byggnaden är från 1634. OBS! Receptionen stängde kl 19.00!

Really more like a hostel. Very, very basic (shared bathrooms - not always the cleanest; no mirror in the room???; could hear people talking through the wall/vent). Just very basic for what I feel I paid for it. Staff were friendly but sometimes were not around; had to wait to check in because they just weren’t there (for a good half hour). It’s fine if you’re going for extremely basic. Bit of a disappointment if you expect more. Still, it was safe and cozy enough and in a good area.

Meget centralt hotel i Stockholm, beliggenheden taler det helt klart op. Hotellet var fint og rent, også vores værelse som lå i kælderen. Det fælles toilet og bad var også fint nok, lige på nær en frygtelig støj, når man trak i toilettet. De var søde på hotellet at opbevare vores bagage. Jeg var ikke helt vildt med kode systemet, ift at komme ind på værelset, det var svært at se tastaturet. Men alt i alt er fint hotel

Litet fönsterlöst rum med lågt i tak. Minimalt badrum, dusch i korridor. Fanns varken toapapper eller handdukar vid incheckning. Funkar för den som bara söker billig övernattning och som inte har anlag för klaustrofobi.

The room had a weird smell, my friend said it reminded her of a wet towel. Turns out the shower was on a platform and all the water leaked on the carpet, thus the smell in the room. We checked the reviews to see if it had happened to anyone else, and it had indeed. Also noticed some reviews about bedbugs at the same time. The price is cheap, yes, but maybe book somewhere else just for your own peace of mind. The location is good, yet very noisy (at least the upstairs) due to the busy street next to the hotel. Friendy staff.

The receptionist was helpful annd polite and moved us to a better room after the first night. However, either in the first room or the second, or both, we were badly bitten by fleas or worse. The lack of hygiene is unacceptable in a hotel which costs more than £100 per night.

Smutsigt, gammal stor fläck på heltäckningsmattan vid sängen, TVn fungerade inte, knarrig säng, ingen utsikt mot stan som det stod på hemsidan, kaffeutrymnet kaos, trasig smutsig lampa som hände på sned med en del av lampan på golvet, allmänt dålig upplevelse. Aldrig mer.

Mycket lyhört med starkt trafikerad gata precis utanför gjorde att det knappt gick att sova. Duschen hade stor brist på varmt vatten. Det kunde kanske funnits ett sängbord och lampa vid sängen.

The service at this hotel was absolutely impeccable. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Just be aware that reception is usually only manned from 3-7pm. So there is not always somebody there to give you information. The hotel is located in an amazing position right over the road from the waterfront. Many of the rooms are subterranean and do not include windows! The building is almost 400 years old but the condition of the hotel is modern and lovely. The only annoying thing is rooms were incredibly small. I have come to expect that in much of Europe. I had a double/queen bed but there was barely any space around the bed. The bathroom was also tiny and the shower recess was around 40x60cm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for the location and the brilliant staff. Just be aware that some of the rooms are incredibly small but the trade-off is the location is in the old city which is absolutely immaculate and so incredibly picturesque.

Hade hoppats på ett rum med karaktär som de på bilden med plädar och valv. Hamnade istället i ett riktigt källarrum med tråkigt bäddad säng och mycket ljud från vattenpump eller liknande när andra duschade/gick på toa.

This was not the place for me. It’s conveniently located right in old town, and the bridges, so you can get to all the hot spots on foot. But no windows. Extremely small room (ie no room for luggage or to even walk around the bed). It’s a very old building so plumbing challenges. And lots of stairs. If you’re looking for something eclectic, this may be for you. But this place did not add any joy to my time in Stockholm. (Also I was emailed the wrong code to get into the building and when I mentioned this to the front all she said was the right code. No apologies for me being stuck outside at night).

Hotell med bra beliggenhet i Gamla Stan. Rommet var ikke stort, men likevel romslig. Et skap, stor tv, to stoler og et lite bord var også på rommet. Det sommer trakk ned, var at innsjekking var ikke før 15. Rommet var klart, så vi kunne sjekke inn før. Men da måtte vi betale 250 SEK! Det har jeg aldri opplevd før. Men ellers alt i alt et enkelt hotell med god beliggenhet. Men prisen var litt i høyeste laget.

We got to.the hotel before check in time, and we were lucky enough that our room was ready, and the staff was kind enough to let us in. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was good, and location is AMAZING. Beds are small and the street in front is a bit noisy, but all good. Would stay here again.

We got in around 7pm. Made contact with the man at the front desk who asked us if we had the code they emailed. Never got the code, but he kept asking 😂. After a minute he gave us the code to the doors. The email came in the next day. Overall a bit disappointed. The pictures do NOT give an accurate representation of the property. Side entrance in an alley. The rooms are extremely small. If you have a bathroom, it won’t be much bigger. TV didn’t work. WiFi was good. No place to sit except your bed. Only good if you just want to sleep there. Don’t expect any amenities (water, coffee, microwave, fridge, table, chairs, etc). The heat worked great. The decor is dated as well.

Det var ok för det priset och läget. Vi blev utelåsta på grund av att det finns en glasdörr som går att låsa inifrån i en korridor där det finns andra rum vilket våra grannar gjorde. Numret man får i mejlet för akuta situationer är det ingen som svara på.

The service at this hotel was absolutely impeccable. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Just be aware that reception is usually only manned from 3-7pm. So there is not always somebody there to give you information. The hotel is located in an amazing position right over the road from the waterfront. Many of the rooms are subterranean and do not include windows! The building is almost 400 years old but the condition of the hotel is modern and lovely. The only annoying thing is rooms were incredibly small. I have come to expect that in much of Europe. I had a double/queen bed but there was barely any space around the bed. The bathroom was also tiny and the shower recess was around 40x60cm. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for the location and the brilliant staff. Just be aware that some of the rooms are incredibly small but the trade-off is the location is in the old city which is absolutely immaculate and so incredibly picturesque.

Hotel did not respond to three messages 48 hours before for late check in as they have to email door code. All calls went to voice mail with no one returning calls. Had to call Hotels.com who said “not to worry”. Finally was lucky to get through and have him bill me on the credit card with Hotels.com. Only then he sent me the door code. Otherwise I would have been stuck outside arriving at 11 pm. When I spoke to him next day, he had no remorse or sympathy. He just said “you would not have been able to check in”. The desk is manned only from 3-7 pm. The emergency phone number was never answered, tried 9 times. I wanted to check out at 9 am and leave bags to be collected later in the afternoon. No one showed up in the morning. Cleaning lady came at 10.57 am and I waited at the counter until then. My ticket to visit a tourist attraction was wasted due to the delay. Again when I talked to the guy in the afternoon, he didn’t feel sorry. He said “he had important personal matters to attend and no time to answer phone calls”.

The location is very nice. However, it was also quite noisy outside on the weekends, which is to be expected but still something to consider when deciding on a hotel. Our toilet didn't flush properly sometimes and the staff told us it would be fixed, this never happened and we had to fix it ourselves around every 2-3 times between using the toilet.

Good for the price. Great location. I liked door systems with codes, so no interaction with the reception was needed. However, there were no basic amenities except for soap. The rooms are compact, with limited storage space and minimal surfaces for belongings. Beds offer medium comfort. So close to everything! We were super charmed by the area and our stay. There was a water and coffee station and plenty of sitting areas outside the room. It was great for an overnight layover.

Rummet var trångt och iskallt. Tur att jag var ensam då det inte fanns några förvaringsutrymmen för kläder. Iskallt på badrummets golv och duschen fungerade inte som den skulle. Obs - det serveras ingen frukost på detta hotell, trots att det är vanligt på hotell i Sverige. Receptionen är bara bemannad under en del av dygnet. Det finns inga parkeringsmöjligheter via hotellet heller.

Enkelt, rent, , billigt, passar en jobb övernattning, sent till hotellet och tidig utcheckning, krav på mer en bra säng, eget badrum är behovet, kollade aldrig om gick att få frukost som hade varit ett plus, inte heller något livsviktigt.

En besvikelse att det inte ingick frukost. Det borde man varit mer tydlig med. Rummen var väldigt ojämnt stora och lyhörda. Läget dock bra.

Good location and very service minded staff! But room was very cramped, with a even smaller bathroom/shower. Did not correspond very well with the room photos shown on the web. Very noisy toilet (vacuum), also from the neighboring rooms. Also a minus that they don't serve breakfast. (Could have been expressed better in the description of the hotel, did not notice when booking the room.)

This was the worst experience I’ve had as a traveler. I frequently travel and they rejected my check in and STILL TOOK MY MONEY. Chase took care of it but the fact I had to go to that extent is truly insane!
