Prinsotel La Dorada & Spa

Superbly family friendly. We loved our week here. Restaurant buffet at breakfast and dinner is copious and delicious. The whole place is beautifully maintained and very clean. The cot provided for us was clean and very comfortable and breathable. The staff are all very helpful and warm. There's a great outdoor heated pool and a heated paddling pool, which our 21 month old absolutely loved. The other pools were still a bit too cold (we visited mid April). The Mini Disco at 8pm every evening was an enormous hit too. A multilingual hit-fest for the little ones (and parents!) brought to life by the talented animatrices. We've made memories to treasure. Highly recommend.

Summary - great place to stay in you like a typical ‘British’ family holiday in a sunny resort - safe hotel with activities, evening entertainment put on, kids club and lots of other people about. If you have young kids the pool here is great. Probably not for you if you have teenagers or prefer a place with nice local restaurants around an old town or bay. Hiring a car would be a good option. Positives - Breakfast is good, friendly staff on reception,beach has clear blue water -great for young kids as it is very shallow. Kebabs in the Grill restaurant were lovely and the meat was cooked nicely. There are some great local restaurants Lots of burger bars/ American style diners if you like that sort of restaurant. Lots of shops that sell football shirts and beach shoes and plastic if you like that sort of thing Negatives - Keycards for room did not work, insufficient sun beds for guests. No taxi service. The hotel does not have links with a local taxi service. You cannot book a restaurant and expect a taxi to take you there. Reception doesn’t tell you this but the local bus service is good and reliable. Meal ordered at the hotel Grill restaurant came as something different from the menu - we were advised that was because the chef felt like changing it! It would have been preferable to know this in advance. Tomahawk for 2 came with one small potato to share and a half sweetcorn cob to share. Food arrived before drinks. Next to wetlands - lots of mosquitoes

Wir waren mit unserer Tochter (5 Jahre) hier. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen. Das Hotel ist zentral am Playa de Muro gelegen, Fußweg ca. 3-4 min zum Strand. Wir hatten eine Suite, die sehr geräumig war und viel Platz und auch Stauraum geboten hat. Die Poollandschaft ist nicht riesengroß, aber absolut ausreichend. Die Kids kommen hier auf jeden Fall auf ihre Kosten. Auch im Kids Club ist immer etwas geboten und die Animateure sind alle sehr sehr freundlich und kinderlieb. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist hier, dass die Animateure nicht aufdringlich sind, so wie man es aus anderen Cluburlauben kennt. Das Essen ist sehr gut und vielfältig (täglich wechselndes Motto-Buffet) und alle Speisen werden frisch zubereitet. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr toll. Wir waren sehr zufrieden hier und würden wieder kommen.

Modernes Hotel - schöne neue Zimmer, tolle poollandschaft

Ce séjour dans l’hôtel a été agréable pour nous. c’est un grand hôtel, plutôt calme qui propose pas mal d’activités pour les enfants, il y’a un petit coin jeux, ma fille de 10 mois a beaucoup aimé, j’ai beaucoup aimé les piscines, (espace pour enfants et adultes) le jardin de l’hôtel est magnifique et super bien entretenu. Le restaurant de l’hôtel au top, il y’avait beaucoup de choix. J’aurai juste un point négatif à signaler, c’était l’odeur désagréables dans la chambre, il y’avait une odeur d’humidité, de renfermé, on avaient beaux aéré les pièces, malheureusement l’odeur était toujours présente, parfois je n’osé plus rentré dans la chambre car je ne supporté plus l’odeur. Sinon mises à part ça la chambre était spacieuse avec douche et baignoire grand lit etc. Merci au personnel de l’hôtel qui ont été super agréable lors de notre séjour.

Perfect for cycling specifically the 312. Friendly welcome at the desk. Impressive entrance and grounds. Lovely pool area. No problem taking bike to the room. Big apartment room. Very comfortable and spacious. Has a fridge and hob so made own breakfast and had it ready for an early start. Very impressive for the price.

Rooms are new, modern however the construction needs some fixing. The pools are beautiful but water temperature too cold for April

Das Hotel ist sehr gut auf Familien ausgerichtet. Die Animation und das Programm sind toll. Die Lage ist sehr gut und die Poollandschaft großzügig. Die Sauberkeit lässt hier und da zu Wünschen und der Restaurantservice hat gut zu tun. Hier und da sind kleinere Verbesserungen möglich, aber im Ganzen ein tolles Hotel

Klasse Lage, abwechslungsreiche HP-Verpflegung, freundliches Personal, sauber. Sehr gerne wieder!

The room needs a bit more cleaning especially the top of the furnitures. We mentioned that and an hour later all was cleaned by the personal. Perfect.

L'accueil et le service est au top ! 👍 Personnel souriant, accueillant et très aimable ! Les chambres sont propres, les piscines très bien entretenu. On a passé un séjour formidable. Je recommande pour les familles. Juste peut être mettre plus de sèche serviette. Merci à tous les employés de la Prinsotel La Dorada.

Die Essensauswahl, wie auch der Service waren toll. Als Allergikerin hätte ich mir mehr Beschriftung oder Hilfe durch die Köche gewünscht. Das Zimmer war sauber, ausreichend groß und schön eingerichtet. Haken im Bad zum Aufhängen der Handtücher und eine Bedienungsanleitung für die Klimaanlage wären wünschenswert.

Die Unterkunft sah schön aus und die Aussenanlage war durchaus sauber. Wir hatten eine neu renovierte Suite. Leider total unsauber, renoviert wurde sehr billig und schlecht. Ohrenzwicker haben wir auch entdeckt! Das Schlafsofa quietscht die ganze Nacht. Schimmel an der Decke und teilweise am boden und auch an en Gardienen. Dadurch auch teilweise muffiger Geruch. Der Reinigungsservice eigentlich überflüssig da der Boden auch nie gesäubert wurde. Service im Restaurant SALT war nicht wirklich gut. Konnten teilweise nicht mal englisch. Im großen und ganzen war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung würde aber nicht wieder kommen.

Die Hotelanlage war perfekt für einen Urlaub mit der Familie. Das Programm war gut gewählt, dass essen war super, auch wenn es manchmal etwas eintönig war. Das Personal hat immer geholfen. Die Möbel in den Zimmer kommen langsam in die Jahre, aber es ist noch Ok. Die Zimmer mit renovierten Terrassen sind super.

Das Zimmer war leider in die Jahre gekommen (Standard), wenn man „Suite“ bucht kommt man in die neuen Zimmer. Man riecht in den Standardzimmern wenn in den anderen Apartments gekocht wird. Pool war top und auch das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich.

Rooms are nice, but this is a family resort and is geared for families with young kids. Not a bad property if you want to be in a main tourist zone and you have kids in the 2-8 year old range.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and very much geared towards families, which was great for us. The hotel was clean and modern. The feel and smell within reception was lovely (you’ll know what I mean if you stay here). The entertainment was just enough without being too much or tacky. Overall a very nice stay in a beautiful hotel.

Fantastic hotel and amazing staff. The area around it is ok, beach is lovely but other than that it’s just a main road with a number of super touristy shops and restaurants.

Rooms are nice, but this is a family resort and is geared for families with young kids. Not a bad property if you want to be in a main tourist zone and you have kids in the 2-8 year old range.

Leider waren sehr viele kleine Kinder in dem Hotel, was dazu geführt hat, dass es super laut war und man nicht wirklich entspannen konnte. Beim Frühstück gab es oft Speisen vom Vortag, die leider nicht mehr knusprig bzw. frisch schmeckten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Hotellet er lidt træt og er ikke 4 stjernet. 3,0 eller 3,5 er den rigtige klassificering. Buffeten var god og alsidig og trækker op. Personalet er ok men ikke svarende til andre 4 stjernede hoteller vi har været på.
