Leonardo Hotel Almere City Center

The hotel was great and my only negative was on the first day it was not obvious where parking for the hotel was situated. Earlier signs would help with this.

Väldigt fint och ch centralt hotell, låg vackert vid vattnet och supernära till shopping, restauranger och tågstationen. Perfekt att kunna ställa bilen i garaget under hotellet och ta hissen upp till rummet. Rekommenderar stt köps dygnsbiljetter i garaget. Går att välja hur många dagar man vill parkera och på så sätt kan du köra in och ut hur många gånger du vill. Frukosten på hotellet var toppen, det fanns det mesta och allt var gott! Vi bodde 4 dagar och ville vi ha städning bad man om det. Inget som gjordes automatiskt. Men det var helt okej och bra ändå. Personalen var trevlig och hälsade hela tiden. Det var också trevligt att ta en öl i restaurangen Bier Fabriken,

Love the location. Not in the bustle of the town but close enough to enjoy. Was quiet while we were there but could get noisy during peak periods due to the brewery link. Staff are very helpfull ln making our stay trouble free. Joined to a bar with great service and choice so did not need to go far at night. Great parking and on a main train link. Was suposed to be a three night stay why we found other accommodation but decided to extend as we were not able to find anything as good elsewhere.

Good hotel on a fun location close to the water in the city center with lots of shops and restaurants. The Service at check in was very good . Unfortunately no mini fridge or ac in the room. There was a fan available and they brought it to the room right away. Fun bar restaurant “ the bierfabriek” is part of the hotel .

Lovely little hotel, about a ten minute walk from the station. Really cosy and comfortable. Bar and restaurant attached to hotel really nice

Je hoort echt heel veel lawaai in het hotel, is zeker niet rustig. Rekening mee houden ook dat het restaurant gesloten is op maandagavond, jammer natuurlijk dat ik er net dan was. Aankomst kon beter: vanuit de parkeergarage kan je de lift nemen naar het hotel, maar om toegang te hebben tot de lift moet je aanbellen. Bel stuk, je moet naar receptie bellen staat er. Doe ik, niemand neemt op. 5min staan wachten, dan maar naar buiten omgegaan.

Did us perfectly for a quick but of parkrun tourism to Almere. Whilst Almere might not have the bright lights and entertainment that Amsterdam has to offer, the facilities of the hotel and the brewpub underneath were ideal for an overnight stay. Would definitely recommend.

Mooi hotel en heel goed gelegen. Parkeerplaats dichtbij. Kost ongeveer 18 euro per de dag.

Godt hotel. Super service. Gode parkeringsforhold. Eneste minus er en kedelig morgenmad.

El lugar está muy bien, es cómodo... La primera noche notamos que no nos habían hecho el aseo asi que preguntamos y nos dijeron que había que pedirlo. Pero a otros compañeros de viaje se los hicieron sin pedirlo

Property is older - clean but could use a refresh. No ice available except through attached resturant - when closed, no ice. No shampoo, just soap. Some towels and linen threadbare. Staff did a great job when asked. Many steps down from the averge U.S. hotel for sure.

Its decent but cleanliness isnt great

Das Zimmer war dreckig, es gab nur eine Steckdose, keinerlei Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das upgrade war es nicht wert und das Überraschungspaket was ich gebucht habe kam nir zu 1/3, von Blüten, Süßigkeiten und Handtüchern in Schwanform, gab es nur die Handtücher. Alles in allem, ein echt doofer Aufenthalt, aber die Lage war top.

Alles was uitstekend, behalve door roomservice stonden / lagen plateaus van avondmaaltijden op de gang en dat geeft in de ochtend geen fijne geur af.

The place is quite dated. My soap dispenser in the bathroom fell off on its own as it came unglued. You have to submit an online request for your room to be cleaned prior to 10 am local time. I submitted a cleaning request the night before for the next day and my room was not cleaned. Front desk was helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in a good location with a modern and diverse shopping district a stones throw away. Plenty of selection for restaurants and fast food nearby. A 10 minute walk from hotel to the station and a 20 minute train from there to Amsterdam Central. The rooms have nice decor and were suitably spacious. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. My one issue was the lack of cleaning service provided during my stay. They only clean rooms on request. Despite requesting this through the online guest service and again with reception staff my room never received cleaning throughout my four night stay. I would likely return again for the reasonably priced room and convenient location.

Hotel pas très soigné…pas top!

It is right next to shopping area. There are several restaurants and eateries around. Full of activities. 15mins walk from Almere Centrum train station but you dont realize as you walk through the shopping streets till you reach the hotel. However, we didnot like the following things, 1. SILVER FISH ALARM.. we stayed with kids in a family room. The rooms were filled with silver fishes. I asked them to change as within an hour we killed dozen of them. They gave us a different room but same story. Silver fishes were everywhere. Hard to get into bathroom as you will see monster sized silver fishes every where and it was very frightening specially for the kids. We cannot keep our things, including our shoes, on the floor. 2. Heaters didnt work. Had to sleep with portable one they gave for 4 nights. 3. Bathroom had sliding glass door without any lock. It never closed and keep opening automatically. Overall if they fix these, it will be a good place to stay but they dont seem to have any intention. Complained to the reception several times but they were helpless as these are property issues.

The hotel was nice, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The slight downside in the room 1 plug socket only works with all the lights on and on the other side of the room there's one socket that you have to choose what you want plugged in. Mini fridge, kettle or coffee machine. That was the only downside

No aircondition, and not possible to open windows in our rom

It’s ok but to formal, the rooms are to small & it to much like a school, the breakfast is to expensive & basic so we choose not to have this, but it’s in a good location, & for us as a couple we would not stay again 👀

No AC , the temperature was reaching 27 out side and the room was very hot ! i had bad experience .

Excellent location in the centre with a variety of places to eat, friendly staff. Room was cost and view from our room was facing the river.

They have no air conditioning in the rooms. Small windows and it was too hot in ther.

Firstly, the staff at all times here were superb. Really lovely and friendly and doing their utmost to help. Outstanding. However - the rooms, on the fourth floor anyway - were unbelievably hot. And it was only highs of 21C outside, over night lows around 14C so this shouldn't have been happening. Talking to the staff, there is no AC just some form of climate control which apparently takes a week to boot up from 50% to 100% if needed. Clearly it cannot cope and can't react to peoples needs. I have been in hotter rooms in my travels, but only if the climate was 34C or higher outside. Truly bizarre to have this when the weather was only mild. The window only slant open inwards about a couple of inches so you can't make any difference with this. We had one large fan in the room and the staff gave us another, so this "eco" move of having climate control instead of AC means guests are running multiple fans all night. Stupid. So I have to give only 1 star for ECO. Its not eco if it doesn't work. The hotel were able to move us to a bigger room on the second floor for our last night and this was much better. Very nice room and considerably cooler. I have to say though that by "normal" hotel room standards it was still pretty warm! The hotel is well located for town centre restaurants, nicely done up and stylish. Short walk to station. Overall very nice if they can sort their cooling problem Again - absolutely 5 stars to all the lovely staff members. They were great.

Værelset var slidt, trægulvets planker stak op, der var en lang revne i glasdøren til badeværelset. Fjernsynet kunne ikke slukkes den første aften så derfor var lokalet lyst op hele natten. telefoner kunne kun lade når lyset var tændt. aircon døde når man tog nøglekortet op af strømtilslutning. Musik fra bryggeriet i stueetagen kunne høres på værelset til langt ud på natten.

The room was so hot and the A/C doesn't work. We couldn't sleep for the first three nights despite an additional fan. They changed it room for the last two nights.

Notre séjour au sein de l'établissement s'est très très bien passé. Le personnel de l'accueil nous ont bien accueillis et ils étaient toujours attentifs quand on avait des questions, des besoins.

The check in staff was very nice. Except the next day, I went down and asked the desk for a Cork screw, very politely. The young lady scolded me. Looked at me with a curled lip and told me “NOONE has ever brought wine before”… like I was nuts. She directed me briskly to the bar, where I was told there wasn’t a corkscrew. It was probably lost. I’m sure I saw corked wine bottles for sale in racks. I asked about the bar upstairs, she said it was closed and shrugged….pretty sure it was set to open very shortly as I had a coffee there the night before around the same time. This staff member was sympathetic and sweet though. I bought a corkscrew, finally had the special wine I’d been packing from Greece and donated it to the front desk, implored them to keep it for the next guests. It was like the twilight zone… did not like the young girl with dark curly hair giving me the massive attitude like I was out of line asking for something so common. Hate to say super snooty, it was really just one person that soured me. The rest of the hotel was good. Some silverfish looking bugs in the room, but not the worst pest to encounter.

Great location. 20 min train ride to downtown Amsterdam. Almere is a modern town. Clean and lots of shopping and dining option all within a 5 min walk. Train station is about a 10 min walk. Only complaint is the rooms are not air conditioned but are "climate controlled". We were on the 4th floor and it was rather hot in the room. The staff was excellent and moved us to the 1st floor. Much cooler and more comfortable. Staff is amazing and the hotel was great.

Nice hotel located near center with parking close too. We had a very disappointing checkin, includng a very short female receptionist who didnt knew much about parking or the surrounding area, with medicore english skills, Lucky for her and us, she haf a professional colleguage named Melanie who are brillant and friendly, so first impression ended good. Few hours later a male receptionist checked us in, no problem. We enjoyed the hotel and especially the staff serving breakfast was very nice, smiling and the food was very nice.

The bar was closed as it was late on New Years Day but the nice young lady at the hotel desk directed us to De Beren Restaurant and Bar which was great!

Prachtige ligging en parking onder het hotel. Zeer af te raden bij goed weer wegens geen airco op de kamer, enkel circulatie ventilator. Ontbijt zeer basic , geen variatie en wordt onvoldoende aangevuld. Strandje, theater, bioscoop, winkels en bars, eethuizen op wandelafstand. Ideale uitvalbasis om Flevoland te ontdekken.
