The room and staff were great, however, we arrived in a rental vehicle with the intention of dropping our luggage into the room, then drop the vehicle at the airport. However upon arrival there was no way other than to operate a pay to park kiosk with a gate. Evidently after risking some unknown surcharge for just dropping off our luggage, this was worked out at the desk. It would make it much more intuitive to indicate that non overnight parking for guest NEEDs to pass through the gate. In our confusion, we drove all around the hotels on the block looking for the front entrance temporary parking for guests, which was very unpleasant. Please label this better for such guests, the existing sign is lacking.

Loved the fact that they had a little restaurant/bar on-site. The food was great and reasonably priced. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were spacious and well cleaned. 24/7 shuttle service to the airport was great as well. The only issue was that one elevator was out of service both times I stayed there and the buttons on the one that did work, were not working well.

Front desk staff was neither knowledgeable nor helpful when asked about getting in and out of this parking lot. The lot is multi use with the public as a commuter lot, gates everywhere. Relatives were trying to come and go to bring us in and out. No way to access gates without room key. Lyft and Uber did NOT have access to gates. We had to walk from entry in and out. Poor planning. Front desk not helpful nor did we feel they even cared. Will plan to stay somewhere else on future visits.

The room was perfect for us. Very nice swimming pool and I think it is a salt pool instead of a chlorine pool. They go all out with their free breakfast. Restaurant and bar is available in the lobby. The shuttle to and from the airport every 15 minutes is very helpful. You will need to pay $15 per night for parking. They suggested using Way(dot)com for cheaper parking, possibly $8. Pet fee is $75 per night. They seem to be having some struggles with humidity. In the dining area the air quality was excellent. In the gym and in the 1st floor hallway to the rooms it triggered my sinus congestions. They have a air handler of some sort in the gym but their isn't enough air exchange. The 1st floor hallway felt tight with no air exchange detectable. But the air conditioning and air quality in our room was perfect.

Property is conveniently close to the airport. They do charge $15 dollars per night for parking because they share land with the airport. This was not advertised upon booking but they did send an email afterward. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dining area space was limited and there was no one maintaining it while breakfast was going so it was a little dirty. But, had very many breakfast choices when they serve their complimentary breakfast from 6 am to 9:30 am. Overall I would stay again.and it is a very convenient location.

Hubby and I stayed for 5 nights and were very happy with everything. If we could make any critiques at all, it would be the way you get in and out of the parking lot. It's just a weird location. I can also see how parking could be an issue. We had a wonderful stay. We found it to be very quiet even though it's 3 minutes from the airport. Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly. One problem we had was the TV would automatically turn on at 4 a.m. every morning. We called the front desk and were told they would call back or send someone. That didn't happen. I did not call back to follow up, so I am not complaining. We tried to see if the TV timer was on, but it was not. Unsure why it kept doing this. It kept turning on to a welcome screen. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay.

Walls must be very thin as I could hear luggage being zipped next door (and I really do not have great hearing). Still, a good stay with ear plugs given newish clean bathrooms, solid breakfast and a punctual shuttle bus to airport for an early flight.

This Hyatt property is clean, relatively quiet considering the airport terminal is 1/2 mile away, and of course convenient to the airport. Nice modern rooms also with all of the expected furnishings.

Who designed the narrow approach to the hotel? Rooms were nice nothing of an upgrade really. Rooms were noisy. The wall are paper thin listened to snoring from multi rooms. Zero sound deadening. Not worth the cost.

My reservation was cancelled without my knowledge or consent. Then when I showed up to check in, I was informed my room was sold to someone else and there were no rooms left. I then asked if I could get a ride to a nearby hotel and was refused even tho the shuttle was just parked out front without occupants.it was raining and 1am the night before I had to be at the airport for 6am. I had to walk to the nearest hotel. Apparently the front clerk unbooked my room and no one would help me or take any responsibility even tho the clerk admitted there had been a mistake on her end.I then had to pay double the price at another hotel. Unbelievably horrible experience and would never ever stay there again.worst customer service I have ever received. Incredibly unprofessional and disappointing.

It was a mistake booking the Hyatt Hotel. Checked in and went to the room only to realize it was a room with double bed which was not same as king bedroom boked. Went back to reception to inform reception staff that I got a different room than I booked. This was about midnight already in Austin as my flight arrived at about 11:30pm. The reception staff responded that they are all booked and that is the only room she can get me. I responded that at least she should have done me the courtesy of informing me instead of changing rooms on me without communicating it. The receptionist then reached out to give me a business card that I can take the room or leave the property and call her manager. I responded to her that was very rude and an uncomplimentary way to speak to your guests. The next thing is she said we can leave her facility or she will call the cops on us which she actually did as we saw a cop arrive the facility as shuttle driver was taking us back to the airport.

I really liked the breakfast and the closeness to the airport with shuttle and the room was good, staff friendly. Only things that were pain points are that ubers will struggle really bad to get into the hotel as there are gates or blocked driveways all around the property so one uber just asked us to get out and walk after trying to pull in a few different areas and gave up. The first shuttle driver was good and then the last one was an old man who was so grumpy, he threw my backpack with my laptop in the back as hard as he could and yelled at the other people and there is no way to get out of the shuttles without being let out which is a safety issue and other guests in the shuttle were freaking out because they couldn't get out themselves at the airport and on the way out of the hotel parking lot someone was driving down the one-way in the wrong direction directly at us and the driver was yelling and driving like a maniac, very aggressively and said "you see what I have to put up with?! I don't know if you saw but the other driver was a you know what" referring to her being a woman and Indian, so me and my coworker looked at each other and were messaging each other about the aggressive shuttle driver and after getting out at the airport the driver was still grumpy and throwing our bags around angrily. Other than that, the hotel bar drinks were not good, Id recommend to only get beers if drinking there since they don't know how to make a mixed drink correctly.

The first shuttle driver was good and then the last one was an old man who was so grumpy, he threw my backpack with my laptop in the back as hard as he could and yelled at the other people and there is no way to get out of the shuttles without being let out which is a safety issue and other guests in the shuttle were freaking out because they couldn't get out themselves at the airport and on the way out of the hotel parking lot someone was driving down the one-way in the wrong direction directly at us and the driver was yelling and driving like a maniac, very aggressively and said "you see what I have to put up with?! I don't know if you saw but the other driver was a you know what" referring to her being a woman and Indian, so me and my coworker looked at each other and were messaging each other about the aggressive shuttle driver and after getting out at the airport the driver was still grumpy and throwing our bags around angrily. Other than that, the hotel bar drinks were not good, Id recommend to only get beers if drinking there since they don't know how to make a mixed drink correctly.

This Hyatt Place Austin Airport has an excellent free shuttle service that picks you up from Austin-Bergstrom Airport 24 hours a day. My domestic flight arrived there several minutes before midnight on a Saturday night, a week before Christmas Eve. A half-hour passed while I walked from the United Airlines arrival gate to baggage terminal # 1 in the Barbara Jordan section of the airport, and while I waited for my suitcase. As soon as I got it, I was dialing the landline for Hyatt Place Austin Airport, and within moments Chase was promising to show up soon with the shuttle bus that he drives. Indeed, he showed up within ten minutes. I was his only passenger. Half-past midnight was approaching, but Chase was very friendly and helpful with my suitcase, even though I am a guy. He answered my questions about neighborhoods in Austin. When I arrived at the hotel check-in desk, I told the employee about Chase’s wonderful job. She understood totally, pointing out that customers often tell her how awesome Chase is. If your flight is scheduled to arrive late at night, I strongly recommend that you book a room at Hyatt Place Austin Airport because of the excellent peaceful, quiet atmosphere, because of Chase and because it is very close to the airport. Your shuttle trip with Chase lasts about five minutes. You don’t want to be an Uber passenger for a half-hour so you can stay in downtown Austin. Spend your first night in Austin very close to Austin-Bergstrom. Not expensive!

Nice place. Staff was not overly friendly, knowledgable or helpful. Hotel construction made it difficult to get in and out and have a cart for our luggage. Hotel shuttle to and from airport was very convenient and useful, so we did not have to worry about our car as we used the hotel paid parking while we were away on vacation. Close to airport. We can see runway from room. Clean, convenient, and functional. Just don't expect the Grand Hyatt . This is a three star condensed version. It still has the Hyatt standards so we are satisfied considering the local options next to the airport.

Very attractive airport hotel, with good location and shuttle service. Excellent bed and light proof curtains. Staff was in general very friendly but as seemed distracted from customers' questions at check-in, perhaps because the AC in the public area of the lobby / restaurant/ bar was not working and massive external blowers were being used. AC in room was fine but hallways were humid as if little air circulation. Most disappointing was that the dining options were not as advertised on website or on Expedia. Menus were not easily available in bar/ dining area, unclear who was taking order (turned out it was the check in staff), basic items on menu not available (fries), and long wait for mediocre basic food. Another member of our party arriving on a later flight discovered that the food on menu not actually available until midnight, certainly no room service other than you carrying to your room. We were dismayed when we ended up getting snacks from little display kiosk about limited choices and, worse, discovered after taking to room that packaging for one of the humus and pretzels snacks had been previous opened, and most of the pretzels had been taken out and then compartment resealed, badly. Ick. Much praised breakfast buffet was fine but certainly nothing special. In short, dining options were simply not as represented, which had been one of the reasons for selecting this hotel

Loved the fact that they had a little restaurant/bar on-site. The food was great and reasonably priced. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were spacious and well cleaned. 24/7 shuttle service to the airport was great as well. The only issue was that one elevator was out of service both times I stayed there and the buttons on the one that did work, were not working well.

Awesome hotel with extremely comfortable beds, walk-in showers (no tub), and spacious rooms. Get the King bed w/ sofa bed option for plenty of walking around space. Best thing about the hotel is the breakfast buffet. Absolutely the best buffet breakfast for the money that you will find in all of Austin. AC controllers could use some maintenance and the shuttle vans should be overhauled, but these are very minor points.

I really liked the breakfast and the closeness to the airport with shuttle and the room was good, staff friendly. Only things that were pain points are that ubers will struggle really bad to get into the hotel as there are gates or blocked driveways all around the property so one uber just asked us to get out and walk after trying to pull in a few different areas and gave up.
