Hotel staff spoke English, and we very friendly. They provide transportation to and from the extremely helpful airport. After walking to all the sites all day, they have a great wellness area with a pool and hot hub. This was very beneficial after a long day of walking.

You only can use the Spa 45 minutes daily and that’s only if you’re able to get a spot. The jacuzzi on the roof is no longer available. Also, the jacuzzi in the actual Spa itself, was cold. Ofcourse, the rooms are not as nice as on the pictures. I had to take a cold shower because the water just doesn’t get hot. I tried several different times to see if it would warm up and it did not. The staff was good. The hotel is just run down.

I struggled with this hotel, apparently I should have done more research before booking. When booking I made sure they offered parking, because we had a rental car. When we arrived, they offered no parking. I pulled up the information on the site, which said onsite parking, plus valet parking. They said sorry no. Which led us to parking a couple miles away, for a cost of $100 euros. Then he said he had no room for us in the hotel, but had a room in their annex building. Ok, this was down the street. Had to drive on a restricted road to unload the luggage, mind you no help from the staff. Annex room was like staying in a in an old Italian building apartment, elevator was old and limited on weight. ( about 400 lbs) it would beep if we were over weight. Hmmm. No dessert tonight! Room was clean, small but clean, air conditioning was great, bed was hard and uncomfortable- woke up with back pain and stiff in the mornings. Had to walk down the street to the hotel for breakfast. Just an odd experience. Maybe staying in the hotel would have been better.

The staff was extremely rude! Do not stay here. The shower was tiny and the water temperature doesn’t regulate. If you were lucky enough to get hot water, it fluctuated from scolding hot to ice cold. The hot tub on the roof doesn’t work, and the bed was terrible.

Ich kenne das Hotel von einem Aufenthalt von vor 8 Jahren. Leider ist ein Umbau/Ausbau „Spa & Gym“ erfolgt was den Charme des Hotels stark beeinträchtigt hat. Zum einen ist der Spa Bereich auf einen Whirlpool beschränkt zum anderen ist der Gym Bereich eine zusammengewürfelte Geräte Anzahl und ähnelt eher einen Abstellraum. Früher war in diesem Bereich die Lobby und der Frühstücksraum. Insofern schade, dass der einstige Charme durch den Umbau zerstört wurde um einen 4. Stern zu erhalten.

Sehr gut gelegene Unterkunft, von der aus man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Spagna, Pincio, Trevi, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza Popolo etc.) sehr schnell fußläufig erreichen kann. Außerdem Metrostation Barberini nur ca. 4 Minuten zweg. Zimmer gut, Bad für ital. Verhältnisse sehr ordentlich. Frühstücksbuffet könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Die Rooftopbar, auf die wir uns sehr gefreut hatten, war leider wg. Renovierungsarbeiten nicht geöffnet. Schade. .

Location was great, very clean rooms and hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful. Great that they had options for bar and food service. Close to Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps as well as subway to make traveling easy. Close to shopping and restaurant options as well. We were a family of four that booked 2 adjoining rooms. Bathrooms a bit small and not much storage for toiletry items but felt standard to other hotels even in US.

Un hôtel qui n'en est tout simplement pas un, c'est une façade, de la poudre aux yeux rien de plus... "L'hôtel" affiche fièrement ses 4 étoiles mais nous les cherchons encore à tout niveau tant dans la propreté, dans les services proposés que dans le professionnalisme des employés notamment à l'équipe de gestion inexistante. Je ne vais pas entrer dans les détails notre mésaventure mais pour être du métier c'est tout bonnement scandaleux. Une dépendance à 150M de l'enseigne principale, un bâtiment insalubre et bruyant, un ascenseur où nous sommes restés coincés sans conformités... et évidemment aucuns services qui va avec, nous avons décidé de nous plaindre et donc de ne pas accepter cette chambre et aucunes solutions ne nous a été proposées, nous sommes allés au bout puisque jusqu'à 21h30 nous étions encore dans le hall d'entrée sans logement décent, nous avons donc rebooker une chambre mais dans l'hôtel principal cette fois (donc repayé) et là...une catastrophe: sale, douche avec des champignons, tringle qui sont dévissées..., en espérant trouver une solution le lendemain avec le "manager"... Et bien non encore surprise celui-ci à préféré faire le sourd d'oreille et appeler les gendarmes pour régler la situation sous menace, nous avons donc quitté l'établissement préférant sauver notre séjour. Quelques jours à Rome entachés par ce comportement malveillant, des salariés perdus dans l'établissement où le produit vendu est une arnaque !

I booked Hotel 87 in Rome and was given a room with black mold on the ceiling. The hotel told me I could switch rooms the next day, meaning I was expected to sleep in unsafe conditions on my first night. I paid a lot of money and did not receive a safe, habitable room upon arrival. The hotel also refused to issue a refund or take responsibility. This property does not match the photos and reviews shown online. Travellers deserve to know that safety and accountability are not guaranteed here.

This property has been one of the worse places I’ve stayed in. I don’t know how they receive a 4 star rating. My room smelled like sewer, wifi worked everywhere except in my room and they did nothing to accommodate me (wrong advertisement of having wifi); the mattress felt like sleeping over wood and springs (so bad my body ached for days from such bad sleep). Very disappointed with this stay. Made my Rome trip/ experience not the best one. I would give them 1 star just for the aesthetics, not efficiency and functionality!

Travelled as a family of 4. W ehad 2 adjoining rooms overlooking front of hotel. Rooms shared a small entrnace corridor so we could close outer door and keep room doors open but still private. Rooms were spacious, clean and bright. Gym/Spa small but clean and well mantained. Particular compliments to the lady who cheked us in and was particularily pleasent and helpful during our stay, can't remember her name but she deserves extra credit. Overall a wonderful stay in a centrally appointed hotel.

The hotel room is small and the bed was terrible. Might as well have slept on the floor. It was hard as a rock. The pillows uncomfortable and flat. The sheets, you move and the sheet covering the mattress comes off and then you’re just sleeping on the mattress itself which is a bit gross. And the sheets aren’t very soft. The location was great. Walkable, shopping and dining and easy access to the main attractions. The hotel staff were friendly and the lobby looks nice and the AC works great. But for the cost we paid would have expected so much more from this hotel.

Total lack of sound insulation between room and corridor is one of the most extreme things I have experienced. you could just as easily use a curtain instead of the door. you could hear people whispering to each other when you walked past the room. everything that happened in the hallway could just as well have happened in the room as the door did not help with noise reduction. The breakfast was ok minus, lukewarm milk, water in a jug (tap water or bottle I have no idea) and something red that I have no idea what it was. where was the juice lots of pastries as usual, plus for scrambled eggs and bacon. Next time I'm in Rome I'll probably try my luck at another hotel but in the same area.

Perfect location on the main street few mins from Trevi Fontana. We got the junior suite which is huge with big shower. Staff are friendly. Clean hotel. Basic breakfast. I prefer softer bed and pillows.

Close to many of the main touristic places. Cold water in the shower every day. Which we were not that happy about. And bathroom needed to be renovated. Breakfast was acceptable but not good with dry bread and cold eggs. In my mind this was a 3 star hotel.

Location is nice. Hotel staff treats you like they are doing you a favor. I arrived to a room with NO AC and no one bothered to let us know, until we complained and they told us we wont be able to get a room with AC until the next day? Mind you, my stay was only 3 days. Pointless to unpack and repack. Mini fridge was not cooling, and the staff could careless. The prices doesn’t match the service.

Hi there… we had a wonder stay at Hotel 87 in Rome. Simone who managed the front desk was extremely helpful with any services we needed including directions and maps or information. Adrien who managed the spa area couldn’t have been sweeter or more accommodating. The location is perfect.. 4 minute walk to the Trevi fountain and close to Coliseum and Spanish steps … lots of great shopping in the area. Nice rooftop bar.

From the moment we arrived in Rome we asked the hotel more than 24 hours before to arrange early check in and airport pick up. The person I spoke to twice confirmed each time and asked me to email him my flight info. We waited half an hour and called the hotel to ask if they were on their way and the person I spoke to said there was nothing arranged nor any mention of us asking for anything. There was a lot of back and forth where I mentioned I was celebrating my engagement and we had been travelling for 2 full days from Miami until I ended it asking him if he expected us to order our own uber and go to the hotel at 1:30am and wait until check in at 3pm because that was my understanding from him and he said yeah you have no other option and then you can speak to my manager in the morning. After finally getting help from Expedia we made it to the hotel at 5am and the same person who answered the phone earlier was also the person at reception. He was giving us an attitude from the moment I mentioned that I was the person he spoke to earlier. He barely wanted to help us and it might be the sleep deprivation at that moment but when I would speak to him he rolled his eyes before answering. He eventually told us where we could stay and wait until someone got us if there was an early check in. At that point my fiancé decided to sacrifice his sleep to stay up because we knew he would help us, but he never did. Instead he went home and failed to mention there was a room available

I typically do not complain but the prior reviews about front desk staff being rude were correct. The entire time, they were dry, unhelpful and abrasive. We were not able to use the spa the entire time while there, when I asked to “at least” view the spa, they acted like it was a problem. They’re lack of assistance made the stay horrible.

Don't walk, RUN from this property. We rented a room on expedia for our trip to Rome. When we arrived we were not even in the main hotel, but in an old building down the street. The morning after our check in we were locked out of this building due to scheduled maintenance & had no power all day. The hotel staff was absolutely horrible to us. We finally got a new room after about 8 hrs of fighting with them. I would never recommend anyone traveling abroad to pick this hotel.

Godt og problemfrit ophold. Dig meget langsom service omkrong morgenmaden, hvor der hele tiden manglede glas, kopper mv så folk måtte bede om det fæere gange. Det tog også lang tid for dem at rydde af npr folk var færdige med morgenmad, og de næste måtte vente på at komme til. Den del var ikke 4 stjerner værd. Fint hotel, men slidt selvom det var malet pænt.

Lille men velplaceret hotel, med meget små, men pæne værelser. Konstant lugt af kloak på værelset. Rooftop baren, som de meget gerne vil fremhæve er ikke noget at skrive om. Men som overskrift kan man ikke komme udenom placeringen midt i byen. Ringe morgenmad.
