Elevators are slow. Pool is small. Pool towels were empty in the morning but overall a wonderful stay

The property is very nice and well maintained. We were there for a few days in July 2025. They are building a gondola across the street so there is some construction noise. If you keep your windows closed you do not hear it . The bed was very comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect temperature. The restaurants in the area are all good . We enjoyed The Edge and the ramen restaurant was excellent. All right next door . The gondola is right next door open in summer . The area hosts summer music concerts. It was dry here but during the day can get hot so check the weather. Its high desert always cools off at night. Lots of mountain biking here and hiking . The condo is well equipped for cooking and they have a washer and dryer . It’s so close to the gondola makes a ski vacation easy in the winter!

You cant even pay for parking with your stay at the front desk. Once you're down in the parking garage you have to scan a code, but of course your phone doesn't work in a basement parking garage, so then you have to remember to finish paying once you get back up to the top. Also, you cant pay for the whole stay either, you have to go back down and scann the code every day to pay. We missed the 24 hour expiration after our first day, because we were at an event when it expired (we were literally 1 hour and 6 minutes over the 24 hours from the prior day and they gave us a $65 parking ticket. Its's a joke because you can't even get in the garage without a room key, so it doesn't make sense that you can't just pay it at the front desk when you check in or out. The hotel itself is very loud with doors slamming all night. We wont be back and I wouldn't recommend staying here either.

The room was nice enough and big for our family of 5. However, the pool was quite dirty and very small. So crowded during the day. The parking was the absolute worst thing I've ever encountered. The stalls are very narrow and hard to maneuver any vehicle into one spot. Nowhere did it say that you had to bring a compact car on the listing because that's basically all the could fit into one stall. Then to make it worse you have to pay $25 a day to park there. Also we got a parking ticket right before we checked out. Pretty sure the ceiling is aspestos too. Terrible terrible will never stay here again.

The location can't be beat with walk out access to the slopes. Nice gym, great ski/boots concierge, nice hot tub, friendly staff. The unit was a bit shabby however, not cozy, the TVs are on the smaller side and don't have any streaming connection (Netflix or Prime etc), the sofa was very worn, not comfortable and far away from the TV, the fireplace didn't work until maintenance came to light the pilot light but then it stopped working and we didn't bother because it was a really tiny gas flame, no entry mat for wiping feet or area rugs, kitchen set up was a bit lacking with a splitting cutting board, only one soup bowls sized bowl. Bedrooms had closets but no chest of drawers or dresser, and would have been nice to have some charging outlets. On the upside, there were plenty of towels and pillows!

I was not able to park my car at the hotel due to their 6’8” clearance parking garage which is a joke. Any SUV with a ski rack will be taller than that. I was not informed about this prior to my stay. I was offered no parking solution by any staff or manager. They only told me that I could park a mile away in another hotel’s unsafe gravel lot. I had to make a 6 min walk in the cold anytime I needed my vehicle. I was forced to Uber to my own car at one point. I was staying here for the convenience which was now very inconvenient. Also Gondola breaks down and there was a 2 hour wait to get on mountain. This trip was maybe the worst I’ve ever experienced. A total waste of money.

We loved the location from the room to the gondola. The ski/boot room was convenient and they even warm your boots!

Not clean, poor lighting, rugs we stained, TV's did not work with remotes, mold on the shower curtain and had a smell to the room. Lovely area but did not meet expectations. Only stayed one night for a two night stay. Hope this was a off season mishap.

Loved this place, Very clean and cozy. Fireplace was a delight. Just bring some hot chocolate for a perfect stay

Can’t beat the location for ski in and out convenience. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Funky smell in the halls, thankfully the rooms did not have the smell. Overall the rooms and property could use an update.

Spacious, cute condo in the Canyons Village. Excellent value and great service from on site housekeeping. Parking was extremely convenient.

The Sundial Lodge had everything we needed - a full kitchen, fireplace, washer/dryer, a king bed, a whirlpool tub, ski storage including a heat warmer for boots, an amazing view, and a location that was central to everything. It was our first time at the Canyons and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.

I really wanted to love Sundial. The exterior, decor and furnishings are beautiful, the loft was a cool little space and a hit with the teens and the outdoor music venue was fun to observe from the balcony. I really thought we’d be getting a super fun family weekend away for what this unit cost. We were wrong. There’s not enough available characters to adequately describe our stay, but I’ll do my best. Decor and furnishings are nice, the construction is VERY poor. The stairs, doors, LVP flooring and beds are rickety and creaky. So badly that it will wake anyone sleeping if you so much as roll over in the night, not to mention if you need to use the bathroom. The stairs leading up to the loft are the worst, so incredibly loud. 2 of the stairs have a slope to them that will dump you right down all 20 stairs if you’re not careful. We learned that the hard way. The beds were so uncomfortable, we went to Walmart and bought air mattresses after the first night and left a night early with no refund because we couldn’t get any sleep between the creaking of our unit, the unit next door and the horrible bed situation. For what this place costs, I’m sure they could afford at least decent mattresses. People go on vacation to relax and enjoy themselves, this was a horrible experience. Sundial is not worth the price tag. Also, pay attention to the parking, it is not free or included. And they pay a service to police it that will ticket you if your tire is on the line in small stalls.

King sized bed on the 5th floor was so comfortable and it was great to open the door and get fresh air inside. The pool and hot tub were nice. The kitchen was great to have, nice showers and elevators were not slow. Went during low season so parking was good but expensive.

It’s very convenient and the furnishings quite nice but the beds need updating—they were sagging in the middle.

Proximity to mountain and ski valet was great. Condo was clean but mattress was very worn making it difficult to sleep on for anyone with a sensitive or bad back. Pull out couch mattress was actually an improvement although still not great. Beware The condo side residents are also not provided with robes for hot tub at all and you need to ask for laundry detergent.

Had a great stay. We were there during the quiet season so some stores were closed and there were not a lot of people around. However, we enjoyed the quietness. The views were really nice and the room was super comfortable. There was a fireplace and a full kitchen along with plenty of seating and an in unit washer and dryer. Balcony was spacious. Would recommend this place.

Carl and Dannicka are two of the most incredibly helpful people we’ve ever encountered during our stay at the Sundial. I would go back again and again because they were so friendly and accommodating. People like these two are hard to come by these days. They were the highlight of our stay.

Our room was great, comfortable, and clean with tons of pillows. Rooms are big and so is the bathroom. We booked on hotels.com and i guess thats where we went wrong. We went to check in and the girl was rude and snippy and wouldnt help us because we booked on hotels.com. We couldnt get an answer on where to park, what to scan to enter the parking garage or where our room was. We finally asked a guy cleaning and he was helpful. Then we needed water bottles. Back to the rude front desk girl. After waiting in line we asked where we could get water bottles. She said theres a liquor store outside the hotel up the stairs. It was closed. Went back to rude front desk girl and found another helpful guy that said they had a vending machine right around the corner from the front desk. Couldnt help but feel like front desk girl was intentionally making this a miserable overnight stay. I don't know how it works, im sure hotels.com gets a commission. But the hotel still gets paid for our stay. Customer service should be given at 100% no matter what service you book through. Won't stay here again. There are many Park City hotels to choose from that know how to treat their guests.

We had a smoke alarm, that would not stop beeping. When we called the front desk to report it, we spoke to somebody in maintenance that said they did not have a large enough ladder to deal with it and offered to move us to a lower quality room… we ended up stacking chairs and putting somebody on someone else’s shoulders and figuring out ourselves… it was just a little disappointing to see how apathetic the hotel was about the situation.

Property was very nice. The property management was not run well. There was a front desk, but no one in charge of “our room” or “our property” was there. Someone in charge of another property ran the desk and was not able to help us. Also, the description failed to state that there is a $25 fee per car per day to park in the garage. That was not a pleasant surprise. Communication for the property was the worst we’ve encountered. The property was clean and nice. Scenery was beautiful.

When we tried to check in at Sundial Lodge - we were told that our reservation had been “relocated” but I was never informed by Expedia. Hotel staff and I were on phone for over 2 and half hours trying to get a relocation to Silverado resort. I have never had this issue happen before and I’ve been a member of Expdia for years. We got it resolved but it took a few hours.

Staff was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Amenities were excellent. I had a less than enjoyable experience in the past with this property but they have definitely redeemed themselves this time around.

Check in was hard. No one was at the desk, so they gave you instructions over the phone to get your key from an open box behind the desk (not very secure) and took me a min to find it. Also, someone came to my room at 8 PM to "turn on the fireplace" (I did not have a fireplace). When I called to report it, the receptionist said, "oh yeah, the heat is off, and they are going around fixing it". A little warning would have been nice. I am a single woman and a stranger at 8 at night wanting to get in my room made me think he was going to take advantage of me. I was scared. So, cool shower, strange men, no communication and poor check-in process left a bad taste in my mouth. Room was very nice though and you can't beat the location.

No one at the desk if you get there after 4pm. No one for questions, etc. weird. Beautiful well kept condo. Basic and clean.

Great service

Sundial lodge is the most convenient lodging to stay at in the Canyons village. It's not fancy, but it's clean and straightforward. If you are looking for convenience, this is the right place -- next to the gondola, ski school and walkable to all the Canyons village restaurants and shops.

Awesome property a short walk to Gondola.

Hotel is right on the plaza and there are several restaurants nearby, and you can walk to anything you need to very quickly. Close to the lift and gondola. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only complaint was that our bedding was a little bit outdated as the mattress was not very comfortable.

Great ski-in ski-out location in Canyons Village.

Perfect location for walking to the Red Pine Gondola or the Orange Bubble Lift. Ski and boot storage was a plus!

Excellent location and property.

This was our second stay at Sundial Lodge. We really enjoy the location and convenience of the facility. The ski in/out convenience as well as shopping and dining on site make this an ideal location for a family get away.

Location is awesome to ski. Red pine gondola is right outside the door. Walk to shops and restaurants.

The condo was great, in a good location. Dining options around the condos were okay, not great. The parking garage is very tight.

It was a very nice property with plenty of shopping, eating, and activity.

An event was just finishing up at the adjacent amphitheater and the parking area for hotel check-in was overflowing with event participants loading all of their equipment and inventories, effectively shutting down parking space for those wanting to check-in. A separate unload/load area should be designated for event participants to ensure hotel guests have access to parking for check-in. It was also disappointing that the only on-property dining option (Murdock's) was closed, resulting in us having to search other dining options.

Best location for ski. Room is clean. People are friendly, best service, especially the storage service is so convenient, thumbs up! Not much going on in canyon village, no place to go after ski. Have to go to Main Street in park city for grocery if you want cook simple meals.
