We had a great trip. The family are super friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The access to the beach is incredible 2 steps and you are the water. Included is the use of sun beds, towels, umbrella. We loved the fact that you can walk to all the restaurants and bars along the beach. Grocery store on the opposite side of the road. Bus stop out side the building. We can’t say enough good things. Thank you guys for a great stay.

Very nice hotel at the beach!!! Our room balcony was beachfront, what a view!! Thank you for that. Excellent, kind and wonderful hosts! We were kindly assisted with all the needful informations and trip recommendations. Wonderful fresh breakfast at a good price. Free parking onsite which is super practical. Overall nice stay at villa Zanic, I would highly recommend the host and the accomodation!

Amazing location! Staff is friendly helpful and goes the extra mile. Sun chairs umbrellas and even a paddle were available free from Pansion Zanic! Loves the reception / foyer sitting area - fantastic views of the ocean. Highly recommend staying here!

Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights Firstly the welcome on arrival was outstanding, not sure we’ve ever been hosted by more friendly people, made a massive impression Accommodation spotlessly clean, very well equipped (we cooked every night in fully functional kitchen) Air conditioning in bedrooms was very welcome The proximity to the beach was exceptional, literally a few meters from our apartment. What was also great was the Zanic included sun beds and umbrellas unlike others nearby. Our stay at Villa Zanić was absolutely wonderful !! We were treated like royalty by the super friendly staff. The place is very clean and the common areas are luminous and filed with beautiful plants. The hotel is directly on the beach with free lounge chairs, kayak, paddleboard, coffee and more. We would love to come back next time we are in Podstrana and would recommend to everyone. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Thank you so much :)

Yderst hjælpsom og venlig personale - MEGET imødekommende. Parkering er lidt en tetris opgave, men igen - personalet meget hjælpsomme. Vi blev tilbudt rengøring hver dag, men vi havde ikke behov. Fin morgenmad som man kan tilkøbe på stedet. Rygepolitikken i Kroatien lader til at være mindre restriktiv end i Danmark. Der er rygefri værelser, men på balkon/terrasse er det tilladt. Der kunne også ryges på restauranter. Der var vi ikke forberedt på.

Location is fantastic, right on the beach, free sun loungers and umbrella as well as use of a paddle board. Beaches here are rocky so we bought some swimming shoes in nearby Omis, which worked a treat. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they take care of a lot of lovely details that make the stay enjoyable. Also the breakfast is incredible! Parking is a bit tight and you need good driving skills sometimes to go in and out. Rooms were nice and very clean. View of the sea from the balcony was awesome. There is a supermarket just crossing the road and a little fridge in the room in case you need it. Wifi connection is great! So is an extra point for this place. It is definitely in my list to come back in the future, we had a lovely and relaxing holidays here. Thank you for making this possible (:

Definetly a 10/10 hotel/pension. We stayed in room 1. A cozy nice room 5m from the beach. All rooms comes with either a balcony or a nice veranda with lovely seaview. There are free sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. The rooms are clean and got all you need. Good bed, clean bathroom, AC, fridge, equipped kitchen. There is a parking right outside which is very convinient if you arrive by car. Pretty small parking spaces but nothing you can not handle. The staff is lovely. The make sure all the time that you are satisfied. Got offered cold drink or coffee several times. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel where you can catch the bus every 30min into Split for a 25min ride. It costs 2,5€. There is also a small grocery store 250m away where you can buy your breakfast and watch the sunrise from your veranda/balcony. Can’t recommend this enough!

Veldig fin plassering med havet rett ved hotellet. Vi fikk leilighet med stor veranda og utgang rett til stranden. Aircondition fungerte godt i leiligheten vi hadde. De som driver stedet var veldig hyggelige og gjestfrie. Vi fikk nye håndklær annenhver dag og egne strandhåndduker vi kunne benytte på stedets egne strandsone. Det ble sagt at de skulle vaske hver femte dag, men det ble ikke vasket på badet, gulvet og på overflater i leiligheten i løpet av de 14 dagene vi var der. Det var egne solsenger og parasoll som vi kunne benytte uten at det kostet noe ekstra. Noe utfordrende å komme seg inn til Split på grunn av mye trafikk mellom Podstrana og Split.

Danijela was an amazing hostess who cared about making you feel at home away from home. Her English was very good and the studio apt was literally right at the seashore. The apt was very clean, compact and functional with a bar fridge and kitchen cooking element with sink. The outdoor covered patio overlooking the Adriatic sea was amazing to spend an afternoon or evening. There are a few good restaurants and grocery stores withing 5-10 minutes walking. Breakfast served on the outdoor terrace was perfect each day and quite filling. Highly recommended and I will definitely stay here next time I visit Podstrana. It's truly a family owned business that cares about first class service to its customers....

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen - zwar an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße, davon bekommt man aber wenig mit, wenn man ein Zimmer zur Meerseite hat. Direkt vor der Tür fahrend drei Buslinien innerhalb von 20 Minuten nach Split, so dass man nicht unbedingt ein Auto benötigt. Mehrere gute Restaurants sind fußläufig über den Strand zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer wurde vor nicht allzulanger Zeit renoviert und hatte alles, was man in einem Appartement benötigt. Liegen und Sonnenschirm sind inklusive. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend, so dass man sich jederzeit willkommen fühlt.

Stunning views, welcoming hosts and a spacious room with all the necessary amenities. Perfect location just a 20 minute uber ride from the city. It was peaceful, safe and in walking distance of two local conscience shops. The room was great, enough room for two and a decent sized bathroom. Mini fridge was great and a stove top was handy for home cooked lunches enjoyed out on the terrace. The private beach was the main seller. No crowds, no hassle, just two loungers, an umbrella and the uninterrupted view of the water. I would highly recommend staying here along the coastline instead of the city. There is a walking path along the shoreline which takes you past multiple seafront restaurants and bars and is beautiful at sunset. I would absolutely come back again.

Hotellet ligger helt fantastisk med ca 10 meter till strand/ hav. Rummen är av enklare modell men har allt man behöver. Vi hade en egen terass vilket gjorde att vårt lilla boende kändes mycket större. Det märktes att det är ett familje hotell och alla som jobbar är helt fantastiska. Fin service och väldigt hjälpsamma! Finns en strandpromenad som leder till 2 olika restauranger som är trevliga men dyra! Finns 2 små affär väldigt nära. Stannade 3 nätter vilket nog var lagom då det inte finns jättemycket att utforska kring hotellet. Uber appen är verkligen att rekommenderas även om buss finns nära. Åter igen, personalen helt fantastiska och läget på boende tycker jag det är ett bra boende. Obs, stenig strand och krävs badskor men är detta är väldig vanligt i Kroatien. Solstolar och paddel board ingår Söker man lugnet är detta bra!

Finns en strandpromenad som leder till 2 olika restauranger som är trevliga men dyra! Finns 2 små affär väldigt nära. Stannade 3 nätter vilket nog var lagom då det inte finns jättemycket att utforska kring hotellet. Uber appen är verkligen att rekommenderas även om buss finns nära. Åter igen, personalen helt fantastiska och läget på boende tycker jag det är ett bra boende. Obs, stenig strand och krävs badskor men är detta är väldig vanligt i Kroatien. Solstolar och paddel board ingår Söker man lugnet är detta bra!

Very nice hotel at the beach!!! Our room balcony was beachfront, what a view!! Thank you for that. Excellent, kind and wonderful hosts! We were kindly assisted with all the needful informations and trip recommendations. Wonderful fresh breakfast at a good price. Free parking onsite which is super practical. Overall nice stay at villa Zanic, I would highly recommend the host and the accomodation!

Very nice accommodation with wonderful terrace to have breakfast on. The staff is super helpful and friendly. There are sunbeds and umbrellas to rent, which are not so comfortable but they are free and available :-) We stayed in the Panoramic apartment which had good air condition and a very comfortable bed. If you stay here you should definitely visit the resturant Cibus, which is 10 min walk along the beach.

Very nice all together. Hotel was small, but so nice. Eight meters from our terrasse to the Adrian sea - nice. Location was perfect for us, as we did not look for downtown hassle, but wanted to relax. Everything we needed, sea, dining restaurants, beach bars, grocery, ATM were all in short walking distance. Of course we went downtown Split too. We used a taxi ordered by hotel personnel. I think price was 30 € one way. You can also use über or bus. And finally, I must tell you about the hotel personnel. They were one of the most helpful and friendly hotel workers I have ever seen. Anything you need, they will fix it or advice how to get it work. Breakfast was flexible, meaning not a buffet, but lady will make what you like. Finally, I must tell you that I stay 150 nights in hotels every year, but I never write these reviews. The host and hostess were absolutely lovely. They were so helpful. They even did a load of laundry for us in the morning when they were washing the linens. Breakfast was delicious. Delicious. Access to the beach was fantastic with lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. The beachfront property was just perfect for our stay and there was a market just across the street for supplies.

Vi är mer än nöjda med vår vistelse på Villa Zanic. Engagerad, service-minded och jättetrevlig värd! Vi hade ett rum med bara några meter till stranden som tillhör boendet. Där fanns gott om solbäddar och varje rum har ett parasoll. Rummet är inte det största men har det som behövs. Helt ok säng och sköna kuddar. AC och wifi som oftast fungerade bra på rummet. Nära till livsmedelsbutik (obs stänger kl 21) och några restauranger som är helt ok. Förutom härligt strandhäng finns det inte så mycket att se och göra i direkta närområdet men det är inte långt till Split. En Uber dit kostade för oss ca 9 euro. Vi kan också rekommendera en tur till en fantastisk restaurang med magiskt utsikt, Argola. Stort tack till Villa Zanic för en härlig vecka!

The staff was super friendly, the location was superb right on the beach, the local bus stop was just on the opposite side of the street from the hotel and the bus took you to Split old town in less than 30minutes. Nice restaurants around the hotel area. Sunbeds and paddle boards are provided by the hotel. Strongly recommend!

Couldn’t be nicer people to accommodate your stay! The ladies are amazing, friendly, and altered my open travel itinerary along the coast, giving their local experience and knowledge! The towns recommended to visit and stay were stunning! And were nowhere near my planned agenda The room, view, beach, breakfast and just all around welcomed feel was something not experienced often…and I’m on a plane and hotels at least every other week Highly recommended and hope to be back soon!

Staying here was a truly pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. Our flight back to home was early on morning, so Miriana kindly brought us breakfast the evening before to make sure we had time to eat before heading to the airport. Such a thoughtful gesture that really made an impression. I can warmly recommend this accommodation!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen - zwar an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße, davon bekommt man aber wenig mit, wenn man ein Zimmer zur Meerseite hat. Direkt vor der Tür fahrend drei Buslinien innerhalb von 20 Minuten nach Split, so dass man nicht unbedingt ein Auto benötigt. Mehrere gute Restaurants sind fußläufig über den Strand zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer wurde vor nicht allzulanger Zeit renoviert und hatte alles, was man in einem Appartement benötigt. Liegen und Sonnenschirm sind inklusive. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend, so dass man sich jederzeit willkommen fühlt.

We had a great trip. The family are super friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The access to the beach is incredible 2 steps and you are the water. Included is the use of sun beds, towels, umbrella. We loved the fact that you can walk to all the restaurants and bars along the beach. Grocery store on the opposite side of the road. Bus stop out side the building. We can’t say enough good things. Thank you guys for a great stay.

Pension Zanic er et lille familiedrevet sted, som virkelig går op i at deres gæster har det godt. Stedet lå helt ud til strandpromenaden og der var et lille privatområde med solvogne og så tog man sin egen parasol med fra terrassen. Alle værelser havde terrasse eller altan udtil stranden. Området var roligt og man kunne sagtens sove med åbent vindue ud mod promenaden og høre bølgernes roligende lyd om natten. Stedet havde paddleboards og andet vandudstyr til fri afbenyttelse. Der er masser af restauranter, snackbarer og isboder langs vandet og supermarked lå lige på den anden side af vejen. Der er gode busforbindelser til både Split og Omis. Kan virkelig anbefale stedet.

Very nice place. Close to Split and right by the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby with plenty of choice's. Shop's, and bakery nearby. EV chargers right by as well. The beaches were not crowded either. Room was clean, service was excellent, the host was very nice and always ready to help with anything. Sunbeds, umbrellas, SUP, and toys for children can be used free of charge. There was nothing negative about this place. Having all this amenities nearby and being able to just walk straight from the room to the beach made for a very relaxing holiday. Wold recommend it every day.

Can’t say enough about this place. The people are so kind. It was like staying with family. Location is great out of the hustle of town but easily accessible. The promenade on the beach side goes for miles and has great restaurants along the way. Grocery shopping is close by. The beach is on the small side which I liked. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available for use. The water like everywhere is pristine. Our unit was very spacious. Highly recommend.

We were kindly assisted with all the needful informations and trip recommendations. Wonderful fresh breakfast at a good price. Free parking onsite which is super practical. Overall nice stay at villa Zanic, I would highly recommend the host and the accomodation!

The apartments are right on the beach and beautiful. They are a bit south of “downtown” Split, which I enjoyed as Split is quite busy. And an easy Uber ride away. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was delicious. I would highly recommend a stay.

The owners were wonderfully welcoming and rooms were well appointed. Breakfasts were lovely, offering eggs, fruit, bread and cheese. The beachfront location was perfect!

Couldn’t be nicer people to accommodate your stay! The ladies are amazing, friendly, and altered my open travel itinerary along the coast, giving their local experience and knowledge! The towns recommended to visit and stay were stunning! And were nowhere near my planned agenda The room, view, beach, breakfast and just all around welcomed feel was something not experienced often…and I’m on a plane and hotels at least every other week Highly recommended and hope to be back soon!

Location is fantastic, right on the beach, free sun loungers and umbrella as well as use of a paddle board. Beaches here are rocky so we bought some swimming shoes in nearby Omis, which worked a treat. The owners were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they take care of a lot of lovely details that make the stay enjoyable. Also the breakfast is incredible! Parking is a bit tight and you need good driving skills sometimes to go in and out. Rooms were nice and very clean. View of the sea from the balcony was awesome. There is a supermarket just crossing the road and a little fridge in the room in case you need it. Wifi connection is great! So is an extra point for this place. It is definitely in my list to come back in the future, we had a lovely and relaxing holidays here. Thank you for making this possible (:

Hands down one of the best places I’ve stayed. From my initial interactions with the staff, everyone was absolutely friendly. We felt like family. We had the sea view apartment and it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely beautiful to wake up to the sea view every day. The beach was footsteps away and not crowded at all. Great restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast was amazing! My family and I can’t wait to return! Best vacation ever!

Perfect apartment on a quiet beach that has everything you need. Staff is super friendly and breakfast on the terrace is a treat. Without traffic about a 20 min drive to Split center for touristy visit. Great restaurants within walking distance. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay overall and really enjoyed our time here. We had breakfast three mornings, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast is served at your table in a cozy setting. The omelette was delicious—fluffy, juicy, and full of flavor—accompanied by fresh bread, rolls, and fruit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and places to visit in Podstrana, Split, and the surrounding area, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a full kitchen and a beautiful panoramic view of the island of Brač and parts of Split. The hotel also provides complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, which was a great bonus. Getting around was easy, with both Uber and the local bus making it convenient to explore the area. Overall, this is a lovely, cozy, family-run hotel right by the beach. Booked the smallest room by mistake, but this was still the best hotel because of the beautiful surroundings perfectly located right on the beach. Even better, the hospitality by Danijela and her family was fantastic and made this the best vacation ever. We had no fridge in our room, (removed because it was broken) so Danijelas husband went out and bought a fridge that turned out to be a freezer. Ended up with solid frozen food and beverages and a good laugh before new fridge was put in our room. No problem. We were offered coffee every day, complementary breakfast, fruit, even beer. The hospitality goes up and beyond and always with a smile. Thank you for the best 5 day vacation and greetings from Aina and Kristin.
