Motel 6-Lawton, OK

None of the ice machines worked.Two brown insects crawled from behind the headboard of the bed. The room is non smoking but there is a large cigarette burn on the bedspread. No coffee maker - that's a first for me in a hotel room. The lady in the office was very nice at check in. Kudos to her.

Never got fresh towels or room touch up after staying almost 2 weeks. Went to store and purchased our own towels. Cops surround the place during stay trying to get some guy a few doors down. Loud at night always something or someone making noise. Only one ice machine in laundry room. Other side don't work. Rooms where clean for the most part.

Pepole walking around with ankle monitors. Pool not open. Ice Machine not working. Pepole knocking on my door in the middle of the night.

I booked this room for my mom and son and they had to leave a couple hours after they got there and I had to spend more money at a different hotel. This place looks nothing like the photos and there wasn’t even working ice machines!!

Overall decent motel with nice staff in somewhat sketcky area. Pets are welcome which earns a star on its own. Bring a blanket.

Room was good. No soda machines. Weed smell in room so went told front desk and they made phone call bam smell disappeared an employee walked out of next room so figured thats why after front desk called them told them. But other then that it was ok

Had great semi parking .but room had dirty floors. And no amenities like hair dryer. Microwave. Coffee pot .nothing .towels was small hand towels. Only reason i stayed is because of limited truck parking and staff was friendly at front desk.

I stayed this location for over a week. There were some nights that the people next-door to my room. We’re very loud and always people going in and out of that room. The parking spots were very narrow and the room next to me was used as a storage room for extra furniture. The staff was very professional. I had to get my key to my room reactivated every day, so that was an inconvenience.

The floors were very dirty, my whole foot was black walking on the floor, the door to room 116 has light coming through it, the toilet is hard to flush, the bed is like sleeping on a lumpy old mattress and a ratty box spring, I found bed bugs in the bed, so our stay was not good. I will not recommend this hotel to stay in for $69 a night that's a negative, and the front desk smells like weed every time we went in there. Not good people why can't y'all remodel it the whole motel needs a make over. We won't be back anytime soon.

The room reserved was not available. No smoke detector in the room and I reeked of cigarettes. Cigarette burn on the bed and nasty stains on ceiling and walls of bathroom and room. Also flies everywhere!!!

Gross gross gross urine covered rooms bugs crawling on the bed with my 5 year old. Staff was rude!!! One towel for 4 people! Ended up leaving at 10pm after discovering the bed covered in urine!

Dirty! Floors were slippery, nightstand had something sticky spilt on it. Bathroom was disgusting.

Room had at least 20 flies swarming around. Did not smell clean at all. I asked for a refund and left

2nd motel 6 in a row that was pretty disgusting. Probably can’t travel with my dog in the future. Motel 6 does not charge for dogs which is great but instead of attracting pet owners, this hotel chain seems to attract the worst cleaners… the place smelled like urine, bathroom door didn’t close. Fridge broken. Floor was dirty etc

I requested a refund but have been told it will not be given. We had to leave and go to another hotel as there was body fluid on the walls, which looked like blood. There were holes in the bathtub. There were insects smashed on the walls. The one night we did stay there was music blaring all night and we were concerned for our safety while there. This facility should not only be removed from the Expedia site, but it should also be shut down by health authorities. Looking in other rooms through open windows, the mattresses had been removed which is concerning as that is a sign of insect infestation. The lack of help we got from Expedia to rectify this situation was very disappointing.

The safe were very friendly and understanding but good lord was this place disgusting. I ended up switching rooms 3 times thank god the 3rd room was decent. The first room was supposed to be some kind of upgraded room and it was the most disgusting of the three. It was all the way in the back and as soon as I walked in the strong scent of either human or dog URINE was very much present and very very strong smelling. There was also a random Shop vac left in the room next to the front door which was just unprofessional. On top of that the room was absolutely crawling with roaches. So I had them switch me to a different room and the second room looked cleaner but smelled of cigarettes which it says no smoking, none of the lights would turn on, and the AC wouldn’t work because there was some kind of electrical FIRE on the outlet that burned and melted the plug for the AC and the outlet cover. They were completely unaware of that somehow. So for the third time I asked for a new room and I was finally given an “okay” room in the front of the building. It smelled very strong of cigarettes and the bedding clearly had just been remade since the last guest. Hair in the pillows and crumbs/dirt on the sheets. I ended up wiping the whole room down even the floors because it clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a while. All of the surfaces were dusty or had some kind of crumbs or residue on them. I also changed my own bedding. It had to do because I couldn’t get a different hotel at 20 y.o.

Pillows are terrible and our ac was weak

You got strangers that pull up banging music knocking on doors talking bout is he in there.....just crazy and overall hilarious the morning of checkout the staff hopped on a bike pulling a trash can guess that's one way to get it done 😂😅you go girl......but overall loud place all hours of the night, toilet was broke literally had a dog leash tied inside the toilet bowl 😂will leave photo on my Google review , no refrigerator, broke microwave, broke bathroom ,wifi sucks could get no work done , don't think I would stay here again that is for sure

I hate leaving negative reviews. I normally just won't review a place I didn't like. If you need to stay cheap in Lawton there are other options. I will say that the room was clean and the check-in staff was nice. The room was old and had lots of signs of wear and tear. The tub was cracked. The sink drain was clogged. There was no channels on the TV. There were no clothes hangers. There was no chair for the room. One of each towels and small ones at best. It was quiet so you can sleep there if there is no other option.

The people hanging around outside and some living in motel made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The lock latch on door was broken. 1st night I was woken up in the middle of the night by a dog barking for quite a while. 2nd night I was woken up by what sounded like someone hammering on something. The staff was friendly but the owners of business need to be more mindful of the type of people they allow on their property. I will not be staying here again.

It can be a bit loud during the week with workers getting ready. Can hear the water running all around you

Just a little noisy it was OK. Might be a little security problem, but I saw that OK just no Internet really pissed me off.

The check in was late, the room was not ready ,full of flies no towels, soap, floors not cleaned until we get there and they bring towels and soap, the ladies in the the house keeping team apologize for the inconvenience and help with cleaning and the replacement of towels soap, the locks on the doors do not work correctly, electronic key cards mostly do not work, we can't see a big gap in the door, the door doesn't feel safe, the door in the bathroom was broken and do not close at all.

Iniatially a clerk check me in forgot to given me a room keys ( she was on cell phone the whole time I was waiting for her.)the sink by the tollet clock up, wasnt enough towls for two , ( just for one). Acording from her, she’ll be at work next day by 7am? Wrong! My husband and I repeated went to office in several of time. We’ll never go back there. We’d paid 146.14 for 2 night there.

When I first arrived to my room I noticed that there was only 1 shower towl, one hand towel and one wash cloth, when i went back to the front the clerk was SUPER rude and said that I can purchase additional towels from their shop. I said I'm not doing that and she said the best we could do is give you a blanket. The next morning, I was hoping to get a different answer as I had used the SMALL bath towel and it was still damp from the shower the night before. NOPE it was the same answer, I can buy one. The clerk told me that since it was Sunday & close to check out time, I didn't need one anyway.

no toiwels in room when we checked in , made 2 trips back to office before we receieved any . no housekeeping in 4 days . very noisy every night. shouting things breaking and cops there on her last night.

Well the check in process took over an hour efore we could get into a room after making the reservation online. The front desk person wasn't able to retrieve the reservation. The person from Hotel.com had to call to walk her thru the process which took additional time. I assume the lady feom Hotel.com thought she got it;however, she hang up the phone before lady could ask her another question so we had to call again. Second call help me & her but the system still couldn't process. In other words, it took over 1hr and half to get into our room at 4:45 am. So my experience with this was very stressful for me & the front desk clerk.

Room was not clean and no towets or toilet paper. No one came in room to do anything the next day. Staff was a joke and no help. Didn't want to be bothered about the place. Would not recommend to anyone.

i never stayed there at all. I had paid $60 for the room online, and when I got there, the guy tried to charge me $80, and I said no. As I left, he offered to let me have the room for $70. I kept walking. I was crippled from a car wreck and I"m a 100% disabled veteran. This was in Lawton, OK, on or about Oct 20th.

The girls that work there are very nice. Even though I had a reservation, I had to wait for housekeeping to clean a room for me. The location is very unsafe, lots of people standing outside smoking, yelling, doors slamming. When I was checking in, there cops were there taking a statement on something that was stolen.

Easy to find area closed to fort sill

When we arrived there were shady men standing out front, smoking pot..seemed as tho they were staking out my truck. I felt like I'd be robbed if I stayed here. To make it worse, the room was supposed to be non-smoking and smelled like an ashtray. The bathroom fan was squealing very loudly. We didn't feel safe at all, so we went to the front desk and told the lady we were leaving and asked for a refund. She said that since we had booked with Expedia that they hadn't charged us anything and could not refund. I am talking with Expedia right now and they are waiting to speak with the hotel manager.

Motel 6 Lawton. Exceeded my expectations. Clean, neat and spacious. If am ever in Lawton, that’s where am staying. Literally 7 or 11 minutes drive to where you wanna go.

if you're looking for a bad motel in a crappy area for an ok price this is the place. i kept checking outside my window to make sure my car wasn't getting broken into

The staff was amazing. My king bed did not come with a mictowave and fridge and they assisted me in changing to a double queen for $12.00 more. Cons: internet was down and thier office phones were out. Pro: amazin staff. Clean room, comfortable bed 1 block from wrights steakhouse and I44. Will stay again

It was in a bad area. My room Was never serviced. Trash piled up. My sink was stopped up my whole stay. Management never did anything. Room next to mine had dogs barking all night. Towels had hair in them. Had to go buy my own. Coffee in the lobby never had cups for my whole stay.

Liked that it wasn’t far from casinos and it was close to where I had to be for 2 days. What I didn’t like was the street walkers hang out there and the noise and the beds were hard.

Do not like the fact that when you check in there's no coffee so you wait till freaking in the morning then the coffee runs out they don't make no more you have to ask them for ice because and they don't even have ice doors were broken into they were locked together
