The staff were absolutely fantastic; always warm and welcoming. They truly make you feel like you're important to them and do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. The back patio was very tranquil and a great place for the very delicious dinner we had there. Thanks to all the staff there for making our anniversary special.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn. The staff, especially Robin, were friendly and attentive. The owner, John, was very personable and offered many great ideas for things to do in the area. We had an issue with the toilet and it was taken care of immediately. We loved the location, the room and the breakfast delivered to our door every morning. The restaurant was also delicious. I highly recommend The Woodview Inn!

The atmosphere was really very home like yet very classy. The outdoor patio was magical. We could have sat out there for hours. Everyone who we met that worked there was more than accommodating. It was a perfect place for a quiet get away.

What was very unique and special was the breakfast cooler they prepared for us. Such a novel idea! Really loved it. Also appreciated the black face cloths in the bathroom to remove make up. Very thoughtful and smart! Not many hotels think of that. All in all a wonderful stay.

Lovely comfortable room. Very clean, quiet room. The flower gardens enhance the grounds of this gorgeous older home. Had a yummy dinner at Graydons Restaurant inside Woodview Inn. Steve and John are very weicoming and accommodating hosts. Absolutely loved our morning breakfast cooler left at the door...lovely touch!

John and Stephen are gracious and friendly hosts who make their guests feel so welcome. The main house is very tastefully decorated and they have paid attention to every detail. The biggest downside was the horrible mattresses. They are the softest mattresses I have ever slept in. My partner almost rolled out as there was no support at the edges. Both my partner and I dreaded sleeping in the bed the second night. Hopefully they upgrade the mattresses soon.

Garden Suite 1 is a beautiful suite in every way - the only improvement would be the fitting of a modern air conditioner to replace the old window mounted unit. Fortunately, it was not that hot and could get by without really needing it.

My wife and I planned a quick 1-day getaway when we had to be in the Thousand Island area. The Woodview Inn was perfect! We arrived a bit early to park our vehicle in their lot well before check in, to walk around Gananoque, the owners John and Steve were outside and introduced themselves, and offered to check us in early, which we really appreciated. The Henley room was very comfortable and we had an amazing dinner at the Inn’s restaurant, Graysons. Would highly recommend this hotel, and can’t wait to go back!

Quality of the decor and everything in the room was excellent. Unfortunately the inadequate air conditioning meant I had a very poor sleep. Possibly own error - small switch on the AC unit had switched off the cooling compressor so it worked only as a fan. Figured it out in the morning when it was too late. I wish the host that showed us our room had pointed this out. Room was very hot when we checked in.

Misleading advertising, photos on their internet do not reflect reality! Mid-day cold breakfast served in ice cream parlors placed in front of the room door! Exaggerated price given the very small rooms with mini shower too small...for my room it was written on their site room for 4 people because 2 beds but there was no space to move around not even for a couple of 2 people! the beds took up all the space and they weren't even the most comfortable as described on their site.....in short, I was very disappointed! Luckily my reservation was for just 1 night, the worst I've spent in a hostel and which affords a 4 star with exceptional desciption!!

The breakfast was served to our toom in a chill box. FANTASTIC!! I didn't have to negotiate other tourists sticking their, probably unwashed hands into a buffet breakfast. It was filled with prosecco, juices, fruits, breads, cheese, cereal bars. PERFECT. A new concept for us but one we definitely prefer. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

We booked the Inn through expedia for our anniversary weekend. We were not disappointed. The main house and the rooms were beautiful and clean, the owners were polite, happy, and remembered our names for the entire weekend. ( Trust me that is a big deal). The breakfast coolers had fresh fruit, homemade muffins and croissants, and I would highly recommend reserving a time for their in house restaurant. The food is to die for, it may be expensive but you only live once, and it does not disappoint. Overall fantastic stay.

Everything was great except for the breakfast. If you don’t eat breakfast, we recommend you stay here! The evening before, you are provided with a cooler. Inside it is for each guest: a granola bar, muffin, fruit (banana, grapes and peach), one prepackaged mini cheese cube/slice of cheese and orange juice. Coffee or tea is served to you in the dining room or patio. We’ve stayed at many B&Bs in many countries and this was the most disappointing breakfast we’ve ever had. Considering the rate of the room, a proper breakfast should be served in the dining room. At the very least, in the cooler they could add overnight oats, hardboiled eggs, pastries etc. Other than that, the room was very comfortable and nicely decorated; lovely patio and the staff were all great.

Nice spot, very friendly staff. Pricey to be sure. After hearing great things about the restaurant and the inn itself, the continental breakfast(store bought muffins and granola bars) left in a cooler outside our door was a bit incongruous.
