when arriving parking was an issue as i was not aware that parking needed to be booked before hand the preauthorization was an issue as they stated that they would hold the auth for 10 days and it would be up to me to have it removed after then by my bank this is weird as normally the motel will remove the day of leaving being the next day everything else was great shame that those items put me in a mood and didnt enjoy myself as much

All good for us. Just letting people know: There is not a huge amount of space in our twin room. However there is 2 spaces that are HUGE! The games room on L1 (6 steps up from reception) and a rooftop BBQ+ area. Also for anyone decorating accommodation please include separet reading lps

Well wasn’t happy with the hidden parking fee, then on top holding security deposit for 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS after check out. 2 weeks later I’m still out of pocket.. place was clean tidy and compact

Everything was good except carpark arrangement. I’ve got parking lot 7+8 as 7 was too small and on my last night, someone already parked the car at my place. Management arranged my paid space to other customer. So I chat with reception and I could park outside on raining day.

was super excited to stay here because the reviews were so positive but that was not my experience whatsoever. when I checked in I had to return to the lobby because the wifi they gave me didnt reach my room. and then i came back in the evening and my room had ants absolutely everywhere (i had no food or anything). I tried to kill them and deal with it but they just kept coming and were literally crawling all over my bag. When i changed rooms the floors were so dusty I had to wear my flipflops in the room. and THEN I was woken up at 8:30am the next day by loud knocking at the door. When I answered it was a police officer who knocked at my door and then just walked away with no explanation?? It was very alarming. I know much of this is out of the establishment's control, but I wouldnt stay here again. And all of this is coming from a backpacker who is accostomed to staying in Hostels. Would chose a hostel over this anyday.

I had an overall positive experience during my stay. However, I encountered an issue with a vehicle parked in my designated spot, which I had already paid for. Unfortunately, the management staff appeared to lack the authority to identify or remove the offending vehicle on my first day of arrival. On a positive note, the shared mezzanine level, kitchen, laundry facilities, and the overall condition of the room were commendable. We were very impressed with the presentation of the room, a little on the small size but was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We were on the 5th level and once the door was closed to the balcony the noise was heavily reduced. The carpark space was difficult to get into for the space we had been allocated however other spaces looked to be only suitable for a motorbike or small car, anything bigger than a medium sized car would be a struggle to stay within the allocated space.

Very friendly staff. Room was simple, clean and modern with all necessities. Welcome gift was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Only slight negatives - blinds didn't close completely and toilet was in a tight corner. Would happily stay again.

5th floor queen room at rear of property had pleasant modern decor and a tree top open outlook over local parkland and suburbia. NOT a large room but the balcony sitting area compensated. Welcoming, helpful and efficient staff. Across the road from Top Ryde shopping centre means easy shopping, eating and entertainment. Local transport hub provides easy bus service to the city. We will stay here again … recommended !

Stayed here for the NRL Grand Final, could not check in early which was fine so we left our bags with reception. When we arrived at 11pm after the game to check in, it was only a security guard on the desk, he could not find our bags, then bought one down after telling him we had two. He went and found the other one and he handed me the keys, both did not open the lift or the car park, he said he didnt know how to program them so he let us in the lift and the carpark, i was allocated carpark 31, which had someone already in it so i just parked where i could fit my car. Not overly massive issues and not the guards fault, he was told everything was in order and it was not. It was fine in the end and we understood it probably wasnt of his doing. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable but the check in process late at night wasnt great.

The hotel location and staff were all amazing! They went above and beyond for me communicating with me from the states regarding my room, etc. I’ve traveled a lot and this was the best customer service experience at a hotel I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be back. Great coffee bar in the mornings with private rooftop views!

The accommodation was immaculate however the check-in on 8/12/2022 was a nightmare. Instead of explaining the parking rules, the receptionist Pom ( I think that\'s her name) abruptly ended the conversation via the intercom as I "didn\'t reserve a parking". Even after being assigned a parking spot, I had to run around with luggage to figure out how to get back to the reception without a key card. Not the best experience after a long drive. I hope she doesn\'t represent the majority of the staff members.

Everything here was truly wonderful in every way. The front desk staff were all very kind. One female staff member kindly explained everything to me when I was anxious on my first solo trip. Every time I came back to the hotel, I felt a sense of comfort and reassurance. I would love to stay here again when I come to Sydney.

I enjoyed staying here a lot! Staff were so incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived to the moment I left! Great location & perfect room for a little solo trip. My only issue was I got woken up a few times at very early hours of the morning (between 6-8am) from housekeeping being very loud with, talking banging/moving things around whilst cleaning other rooms on my floor Other than that was a lovely stay!

Conveniently positioned for public transport, groceries and dining options. It was next door to a school making it quite difficult to reach in the afternoon, suggest arriving outside school peak times. There was also limited options for check-in parking resulting in contacting the reception and gaining access to the carpark prior to arrival. This is a common probem and should be communicated prior.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Studio 8. I like how it's easy to walk to the shops to grab a meal and other necessaries. The room is clean, spacious and the bed comfortable. The front desk staff are also friendly!! If you're in the area, it's a great spot for convenience, even though it's close to some main roads - Victoria Rd and Blaxland Rd, it was relatively quiet!!

Very neat and clean. Appreciated the early morning free coffee downstairs. A bit of local knowledge would’ve helped. Asked where to go for breakfast, told food court across the road - but there was nothing open. Also wasn’t aware of special event busses nearby. But everyone really friendly, amenities as described.
