Tough location — Don’t stay here with kids. People who appeared to be inebriated were hanging out and arguing with passersby in front of the place during the day and at night. There’s some kind of bait and switch going on — there are three different versions of Fillmor/Fillmore/Filmore’s hotels in Hotels.com (all different spellings, but same address, one a now-defunct hotel). Shortly before our stay, we got a message that the registered address for the booking would take us to the back side of the building and that we should use the alternate address provided, which would bring us to the front entrance. The “front entrance“ was a block and a half away at a completely different building. A Google search said the building and area were “troubled” and that the building isn’t secure. A shooting occurred there this year. Lesson learned to check how safe the neighborhood is on Google instead of relying just on app reviews. We ended up leaving for a different hotel. The unit itself was cute and clean, but we did not feel safe staying there with our kids.

Fair room for a fair price in Toronto. Clean, but could have the doors and handles wiped down. 2 glasses for 3 guests. The fan did not work in the bathroom. Beds were not comfortable, we had to move the queen to make sure the vent overhead did not blow on one guest all night long.

Filmores Hotel was a very enjoyable experience from beginning to end. As soon as we entered the suite, we immediately noticed how clean, cozy, and well-arranged everything was. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, making it easy for us to relax and feel comfortable throughout our stay. One thing we really appreciated was how well the air conditioning worked, especially after spending hours exploring the city. The suite was spacious, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a convenient and stress-free stay. The bed was comfortable, the surroundings were peaceful, and the entire place felt well taken care of. Overall, Filmores Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and convenient place to stay in Toronto.

This Executive Suite Bestsaycation was the perfect choice for our relaxing getaway. The location was very convenient since we were able to visit nearby attractions like CN Tower and different restaurants around the area. After spending the day exploring Toronto, it was always nice coming back to such a cozy and beautiful suite to relax together. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-prepared when we arrived. I absolutely loved staying at this suite because it made our special trip even more memorable. The lake view from the suite was truly beautiful especially from the balcony, where we enjoyed watching the view and the city lights in the evening. It created such a peaceful and romantic atmosphere throughout our stay.
