G2 Hotel Myeongdong

洗濯機と乾燥機の数が圧倒的に少ない。2台ずつしかない。洗剤は自販機で購入しないといけない。持ち込みは禁止されている。洗剤の自販機がボロで1000ウォンしか使えないし、全然入らない、戻ってくる。フロントで買わしてほしい。日本語できるスタッフは限られているし、そこまで堪能ではないです。トイレはペーパーが流せるし、ウォシュレットが付いていて良かったです。でも、便座が冷たい、スイッチ押して設定したつもりが、温まらない。私の設定が悪かったのか。日本のトイレに慣れているので。風呂のお湯は、MAXで丁度くらい、友達はもうちょい温度上げてと言っていました。初、韓国だったので、聞いてた話しよりは、良いホテルに泊まったと思います。コンセントはCタイプだが、一個は日本と同じタイプが付いてた。 ツインの部屋に4泊。水のペットボトルを毎回補充してくれる。アメニティも補充してくれます。歯ブラシもあります。

Quiet top floor, spacious room with a view out over the city. With access to a beautiful roof top area, gym, restaurant and laundry facilities.

The hotel’s atmosphere is pretty nice however we had a VERY BAD experience staying at this hotel. First of all the WiFi is VERY SLOW and will ALWAYS DISCONNECT, Our devices had a hard time connecting to the internet. Second is the air conditioning, the AC is limited to only 21-23 degree celsius which can be quite WARM and it made us SWEAT when we would sleep. Lastly were the mosquitoes inside the hotel and there were a LOT.

スタイリッシュでキレイなホテルで、小さな子供も含め家族も満足していました！ 朝食ビュッフェや24時間利用可能なジムはとても良かったです。 唯一残念だったのは楽しみにしていた屋上のテラスが営業停止中なのか、テーブルもイスも無く、単なる屋上だったことです。そこでムーディーにお酒が飲みたかったです。

Always a pleasure staying at G2 as always. Staff are accommodating and pleasant. The rooms and facilities are clean and functioning well. Even though there are many guests, it is quiet and I am able to rest during the night. The plus is the laundry facilities, though it would be nice if they add more units. Definitely my go to accommodation whenever I am in Korea.

*NO BREAKFAST OR RESTAURANT/BAR* Beyond disappointed. Please look elsewhere unless desperate. BAD NEWS: Unacceptable bait and switch by this hotel. Visitors beware -- there is NO BREAKFAST available, and the RESTAURANT IS CLOSED. We stayed here for 8 days and were told every day that neither was available, even though the website did (and still does) promote these options. There isn't even water or coffee out. Normally, this may not be a big deal, but when you have small children and it's literally 5 degrees out it would be nice to have in-house options. Also, we had to switch rooms due to an intense sewer smell, that was still apparent in our second room oddly enough more so when you turn on the heat (no idea how they're related but very obvious). The hotel needs work. Tape all on the floor of the elevators, bathroom tiles cocked weird, bathtub motel-feeling. GOOD NEWS: For 1 or 2 nights, it's fine. The location is decent. 10-Minute walk to Myeondong Street and 15 to Lotte. Massive coffee options, including Starbucks nearby (many oddly weren't open by 9am, though) Staff was nice, if only because they were nonexistent. Housekeeping would clean when we left, no matter what time, and always leave water bottles. Really, just a terrible taste in your mouth when you plan a trip to a bucket list destination and when you get there you find out its nothing like what is promised.

The surroundings seem to be an office area so lots of food options on weekdays but many are closed on Sunday and PH. The air-condition going on and off automatically was kind of weird and is centrally controlled.

Great location, clean rooms and gold equipment at the gym. Very suggested if visiting Seoul. It was walking distance from all host spots

Not cleaning the room properly

AC was fine, sometimes a bit warm. Spotless conditions and wonderful staff.

This is a very nice hotel, situated between two subway stops and two airport bus locations. The only downside was that the room was really dusty, and the air conditioner mixed with the large amounts of dust made us both sick. Otherwise, it was a really nice stay! The rooms were clean and the room itself was free of any dirt or grime. It was just the dust in the air.

It's less than 10 min walk to the Myeong-dong night market and metro is closed by as well, lots of restaurants and shopping options in the area, super convenient. Room is spacious but noticed some stains on the wall and molds in the bathroom.

Honestly one of the worst places I’ve stayed anywhere. If it wasn’t for the fact I got really sick so had to quarantine I would’ve left. Toilet smelled so bad of sewage

My room smelled of sewage. The bathroom was dingy and dirty. The bathroom wall was stained and dirty.

全体的にはよかったが、トイレが詰まって流れにくく困った。 次の日のお掃除でなおっていました。

お風呂にお湯を溜めたらカビ？のようなほこりのような黒くてふよふよしたものが出てきます。シャワーでも蛇口でも同じく…水圧等は問題ないだけに残念です。 そのふよふよのために部屋を変えてくれと言うのもめんどくさく。 部屋も広々として綺麗でコインランドリーはキャッシュレスで使いやすいのでこの黒い汚れだけなんとかしてくれたらいいのに。

hotel was located in a very walkable area to both the metros and the Myeongdong shopping district. rooms were a very reasonable size offering plenty of room for big luggages.

Property is in great location. The room itself has some noise issues. Door seems not sealed well, can hear everything in the hallways. And the walls are very thin, can hear next door guests.

Spacious room, it’s away from the Myeongdong crowd, quiet and convenient. Enjoyed our stay here very much.

Very clean spacious double king room with beautiful bathroom. Kind and courteous staff. Excellent location for public transit. Many excellent restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Superb shopping in walking distance as well. All around a great value for the price. Would certainly stay here again. Love Korea!

If you are going to book a room, make sure to book the Quadruple room. It's 2 king beds, but what I noticed is that it's more spacious that the regular rooms. We had 4 adults with 7 luggage. We also had a room on the 9th floor (911) which was a corner room with a view of the Namsan Tower. Just be careful as they have mosquitos at this hotel and in the elevators. Over all, this was a nice stay. Washer and Dryer in the basement, small gym, a rooftop for smokers and you can also see the tower from the roof as well.

Perfect hotel for what we needed during the trip. A quiet location that was close to all the main attractions or access to transportation to get to the main attractions. Rooms are not really soundproof so we could hear a lot of the movement upstairs and next door, but, property itself was in a quiet location.

酒店位置方便，行去明洞站大概10分鐘，另外行去乙支路3街站同忠武路站都係大概5分鐘。有洗衣機同乾衣機用，只需係酒店買洗衣液就得，好方便。只是洗手間渠成日有陣臭味，一定要開住天花嘅抽氣先得。另外可能因為係尾房嘅關係，Wi-Fi好微弱，基本上上大部分時間都收唔到。但整體而言，感覺酒店都乾淨，下次去首爾會考慮再住

Hotel is basic, but comfortable. Airco is right on top of the bed, so it can get quite chilly. Also not sufficient plugs around the bed. Shower pressure wasn’t great either, however it might be a Korean issue.

The restaurant says close at 3pm, walked in for a coffee at 2:30pm, the only staff already put away everything and rudely turn us away. Went front desk to enquire why close so early and so poor manner for the staff, the assistant manager replied the time is close enough and we should go outside to Starbucks to get coffee.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at G2. It was clean, comfortable and we stayed in a deluxe room. The service was friendly, efficient and incredibly helpful. The location, close to several stations, in Seoul was perfect for us. When we return to Seoul, we will definitely book the G2 again.

Great hotel at a very good rate in a great location. Breakfast was included and accommodated American tastes as well as Korean. The staff was courteous and helpful.

The front desk was not as friendly. The dryer in the laundry area does not work too well . It charges 4000 KRW for the dryer alone and we had to dry it twice on every load. Not worth it. We stayed in another hotel prior to checking into G2 because we had a short couple of days to Busan . Apparently that hotel’s customer service and laundry was awesome. It charged the same amount but we only had to use the dryer machine once fur every load .

We were staying on the 3rd floor, and for some reason there is this sewer smell from the bathroom that makes the whole room smell really bad, like fart or bowel smell. Also, we asked the front and also the cleaning lady to not come in for cleaning the room but they didn’t listen and just did it anyway for two days in a roll. Front staff can be more welcoming like greet with hi, especially the younger man staff at the front.

Staff was super friendly and helpful - made check out and check in super easy. They also let us store our luggage in the lobby for free after check out. Room was great!

The staff were exceptionally helpful: we arrived several hours early and they stored our bags until it was time for check-in. They were very polite and friendly, and spoke English well. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. As a tall person, I had no problems at all with the (king) bed size. The room was attended every day, and we felt like we were in control of when housekeeping came as there were both Do Not Disturb and 'Room Clean' buttons to alert staff (I think they even changed the shower curtain every day?). The air conditioning was exceptionally quiet AND very effective. 👍 The staff also offered to store our bags (for free!) when we travelled to other parts of South Korea, as we were due to return to Seoul in the final part of our trip. All-in-all, my partner and I had a wonderful time and we're looking forward to coming back to this hotel in the future. 10/10!

Stayed 5 nights at the Junior Studio at G2 and it was a pleasant stay. Location was convenient in the middle of 2 train stations (Euljiro 3 & Myeongdong). Airport bus was a max 7mins walk from the hotel & its easy to find direction. Junior Studio was huge for the 2 of us, so highly recommend it for families with kids! Fridge was abit small but microwave, hairdryer all was given. But take note, toothbrush & toothpaste are not provided. Either you bring your own or buy from the nearest convenient store. There is easily 4 convenient stores along the stretch & plenty of food options even at night by walking towards Euljiro 3

Good no frills hotel near MyeongDong but still takes around 15mins to walk to the MRT station. Staff were friendly and room size very adequate. Nice clean room. They also gave us 2 bottles of water per day which was fantastic. They have just changed the check out time from 12pm to 11am from 1st Jan 2024 which is a shame.

Very convenient location

Very clean spacious double king room with beautiful bathroom. Kind and courteous staff. Excellent location for public transit. Many excellent restaurants within a 10 to 15 minute walk. Superb shopping in walking distance as well. All around a great value for the price. Would certainly stay here again. Love Korea!

In a very convenient location between 2 metro stations and surrounding was safe and lively neighbourhood

Our disappointment is that on Expedia it lists it as a 4 minute walk to Myeongdong Street when it was really closer to a 15 minute walk. We thought we would be able to walk right outside the hotel and quickly into Myeondong Street. Expedia needs to update so that other travelers are not surprised as location was the primary factor in our booking of this hotel. The Jr Studio room had plenty of space with a small kitchen. House keeping even took care of the dishes each day. Staff was friendly but there was no concierge/baggage help.

ホテルは明洞の中心から少し離れているので静かです。チェックインは日本語でできました。 近くにコンビニはありますし、明洞から帰る途中にいくつもコンビニがあるので助かりました。 明洞まで少し歩くので、子連れにはもう少し明洞に近い方が良かったかなと思いました。 4人で泊まりましたが十分な広さでした。

Great hotel about a 10 minute walk to Myeongdong street. The cafes and restaurants near the hotel are great. The hotel was clean and quiet, staff was also nice. Took advantage of the luggage storage and washing machines downstairs. Overall, would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay a little bit away from the craziness of Myeongdong street

Hôtel proche de la station de métro de Myeongdong, des commerces alentours. Très pratique si vous devez prendre un bus pour une excursion. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et bien équipée. Point négatif : baignoire très petite. Petit déjeuner cher pour ce qui est proposé. Restaurant ouvert uniquement le midi.

Amamos a hospedagem! O hotel é bem completo, com cama confortável, chuveiro excelente e um café da manhã ótimo, com muitas opções. Além disso, é super bem localizado e tinha balança de pesar mala na recepção.

A great hotel in a good location in Seoul if you are looking for a basic room with no extra amenities. The room is very clean and the breakfast included offered a wide selection of cold and hot food. I would recommend this to stay here as it is a very short walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping.

I wish we new the restaurant in the hotel was closed until June . also the pictures of the roof top they show on the internet shows people with drinks we thought there was a bar and when we checked it out there was nothing a little disappointing but the location and people were excellent

Excelente ubicación. Buffet desayuno muy completo, pero lo mismo todos los días. En general excelente hotel.
