EVERYTHING!!!!! The elevator was broke. Luckily they put me in a room on the 2nd floor. However such an inconvenience and per reviews the elevator has been out of commission for a while. I had contacted the hotel twice on my check-in day and was never told abut the elevator. Wake up the next morning for breakfast. HORRID!!! The waffle mix was distasteful, the sausage tasted spoiled and the juice machine was broken. Someone from the hotel could've easily walked to 7-11 and bought some juice. There definitely should've been a reduction in price until these things are fixed. The hotel actually seemed like they are preparing to permanently close their doors. La Quinta has lost a faithful guest......

Elevator doesn’t work and they put me on the sixth floor with my dogs. Ruined my entire trip to Baltimore. So much work just getting into and out of my room was exhausting. Stairwell is not air conditioned. Sweated through my clothes everytime I went back to my room.

I would never stay here again. The elevator was broken and I wasn’t made aware until I arrived and my room was on the 5th floor.. The neighborhood that this hotel is located in is extremely busy, a lot of noise throughout the night, and some sketchy looking characters. I also saw a roach on the first floor & the staff was not the friendliest. The pics online look a lot nicer than the actual hotel is. There were many missing pieces to the furniture in the room, like the closet door, the desk, and the nightstand.

This property was not what I expected at all. When I first checked in on Tuesday I was informed while checking in that the elevator was not working at all. I rented 2 rooms. One which at first was on the second floor, and the other one was on the fifth floor. The room on the second floor TV wasn’t working and when I went back downstairs to talk to the person at the desk. I was told I can deal with it and wait until tomorrow for someone to fix the TV. The. I was told he had another room up on the fifth floor. I needed the room on the second floor because my elderly mother was with me. She had to walk up all them steps to the fifth floor to get to her room. It was suck an inconvenience. The elevator was out my whole stay here. We couldn’t even enjoy our time at all. We had to carry out bags up all them steps and back down when our stay was over. People was coming in and out all times of the night. I would never go back to this place ever again.

Move 4 times to finally get a room that had AC and a working shower. One of the rooms didn’t have a phone so I had to walk 7 flights of stair because the elevator didn’t work. I can not believe Wyndham attaches their name to this dump. The rooms are left with no AC on so it was 87 degrees when we arrived.

The neighborhood is not a good area. No parking for hotel unless you get lucky and find one on the street. If you park in the one garage you can’t access your car between 8 pm and 5 am and the garage is closed on Sunday.

The lady at the front desk was amazing. She was nice from checking in to check out. Now, the room was another story. Since we walked in the hotel building, it was disgusting. There was cigarette ashes on the counter where we checked in the floor was disgusting. We got into the elevator, got off on our floor on the fifth floor, the floor was gross. I felt like if I had white socks on you with my socks would be black. It smelled stuffy in the hallways, and there was marks all on the doors in the walls. Now, going into our room the door was extremely heavy to open up. As we walked in it smelt like a dead body was in this room. Floor was disgusting. Bathroom was nasty. Wouldn’t dare use the towels that were there. It just look like it was never cleaned. there was stains on the doors, stains, white stains, or white, milky substance on the counter by the phone and also by the ice bucket in the lamp. Floor was disgusting again, walked around in my shoes the entire time. Went to turn on the air conditioning, and there was hair and leaves inside the top of the vent. The AC did pump out good air, but it was disgusting. We slept on the top of our beds with a blanket of our own on top underneath of us because there were stains on the bed. I found a long piece of blonde hair several times in the room mind you me and my daughter have dark black hair. I would never stay here ever again. I will be letting everyone know. Do not stay here. There is no absolute help for this hotel, but to burn

The area is traumatizing full of homeless and junk people. The smell in the street is awful. There is not housekeeping in this hotel. The noise is serious. The bathroom does not have an extractor and as result there was a huge accumulation of mold in it. I didn't have toilet paper in my room. The staff barely spoke to me and they were not approachable. Awful place!

Load area (car horns and police sirens all night). The property itself was dirty and the room smelled or smoke. Half the outlets in the room did not work. Backs of trashed and food in the hallways and stairwell. Sticky floor. Cockroach in the breakfast.

And this establishment had homeless people living in it. The area was horrible. Overall the stay at this hotel was horrific. I would never stay at this location or any other one. The hotel room was disgusting, the towels were dirty, the sink was dirty, the blankets were dirty. The room was small, it was loud, you could hear the room nextdoor coughing. When we called the front desk, the attendant told us that there was nothing he could do. He brought us 2 towels, didn't offer anything...we didn't even have washcloths. It felt like the room hadn't been cleaned at all. There were even holes in the sheets and the pillowcases. Never, ever, stay here.

I have stayed many times at La Quinta. This is by far my worst experience. At check-in, I was first given an occupied room !!! The Hotel is run down and dirty. The shower temperature could not be properly set, I had to take bowling showers. The walls are paper thin and I had to endure collateral noise from the room next door at 4am! Breakfast is poor and card heavy, no fruits, no vegetable, nothing fresh. The wifi was very slow and sometimes sporadic. If you can afford a bit more stay elsewhere!

Stayed for 5 nights, and didn't get one good night of rest due to the paper thin walls. Other doors closing in the hallway seemed just as loud as my own (at first I thought it was). Also being on the second floor I could hear the rowdy locals clear as day, it sounded like I was in a game of GTA. My window kept sliding down and would get bugs in there, including the new invasive lantern flies (really hope I didn't take any back home with me). Be weary if you're trying to save, it might be worth the extra money just so you can get some sleep...

Much smaller than expected, room was clean but there were water marks on the ceiling in the bedroom and the shower handle was broken so it was very difficult to get hot water. Ended up checking out a night early and cutting the trip short. Staff was nice and I was impressed with the one lady’s handling of another rude guest.

Very loud, heat/air didn’t work. We had to open the window until 3am one night. Keep in mind we are downtown. Water in the shower was warm not hot and the pressure was at most a trickle. The bathroom fan, outlets, and over mirror light didn’t work. Both nights the room next us had dogs that barked continuously. The room/s above us not sure how if they were clean at 9pm or doing some sort of construction. Hair in clean towels.

There were gashes along all the walls and corners. The room was dirty, and smelled bad. The air conditioning filter wasn’t clean. Parts of the beds were discolored, and the water valve in the shower didn’t work properly. A part of the carpet had also been poorly fixed.

The most rundown hotel I've ever stayed at. Garbage bags dangling off of the smoke detector. No cups at all in room. No stopper for tub but the water pressure so low it took a couple of attempts for shower to start. The "bed" pillows were some type of decorative pillow or just batting not certain. Bedding was an old gold blanket in-between 2 sheets. The drawer to the one nightstand was shoved in backwards . I was afraid to open the drawers. No fan in bathroom. 3 different types shampoo samples, but no body wash or conditioner. One elevator that reeked of marijuana at all times.

This property was one of the best hotels I have stayed at during all my travels,It very clean, its just a very unique place the staff went above and beyond to make my stay very comfortable,house keeping was A thanks to Miss Nicole from housekeeping she made sure I had everything to my comfort and the manager was also very nice and professional sorry I didn't catch her name,will definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Baltimore.

The staff were lovely and the rooms were clean and had everything I needed. Unfortunately, this is not a good location — as a single woman traveling alone, I was not able to safely move in and out the hotel. I forgot to read reviews before booking because I thought I recognized the area but the reviews are correct, I would truly not recommend this hotel, as much as I think the staff are trying their best.

I asked the front desk multiple times for a refund or for soemone to come look at my room because it was disgusting and damaged and no one helped. Then there were two gentleman at the front desk who said in the morning I needed to talk to a lady at the front desk which I did and she said she couldn’t do anything. She then gave me a number for a maintenance lady? There was no resolution, no help and I’m so disappointed because this was supposed to be an anniversary trip and the hotel experience was ruined. By staff that would not listen or take me seriously and the response was unhelpful. I have photos of the disgusting room and the text that I sent the front desk that didn’t lead to anything. I also have the names of the women who gave me a number to call that also didn’t lead to anything? This is ridiculous.

I arrived to check-in what I thought would be a nice downtown motel, but three blocks from the address, I noticed the area got really shady with storefronts boarded up and graffiti everywhere. Arriving to the front curb, I was greeted by a junky asking what I needed. I told him I'm checking in, then he kept walking in and out of the hotel with his ''associate'' - so before unloading my wheelchair and service dog, waited for them to leave. Over the next 30-minutes, I watched them conduct no less than four drug deals from the curb. With the junky serving the cars that pulled up and his associate going in the hotel each time with the dope. Meanwhile, queue the 2 assumed prostitutes coming in and out of the lobby to meet their John's with their pimp before driving off and the pimp going back in the lobby, only to bring out another girl ten minutes later. Friday night at this rat hole is a nightmare. I immediately called Hotels.com to let them know I would NOT be checking in and demanding a refund for my pre-paid reservation. I ended up staying at the Inner Harbor and having to pay three times the price to feel safe. Expedia requested a response to the property manager who ignored my request, so I had to file a chargeback with my credit card. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR DRUGS OR A PROSTITUTE. There was no security present, nor on-site parking, and the management is clearly aware of the problems but let it happen. Likely because it's the only chance of customers.

As someone coming out state, my safety is paramount, I was told by the receptionist to go and park at a nearby parking garage and walk back with my luggage. Mind you, it was around 11pm. So I drove off to look for another hotel, and this other hotel offers valet parking for a fee, and I went ahead with this option. All I needed was a place to sleep before heading out to my program that brought me to Baltimore.

The staff and the other guests were wonderful - awesome downtown location great shops on same block - light rail a block away Charles st a block away - inner harbor 5 minute walk - Mt Vernon / museums penn station a 5 minute walk - Lexington market 5 minute walk - theatres, attractions, shops , stores, museums , parks all within a walk

Rooms themselves are nice for the price. Hallways seem to be messy and load. Staff is under staffed. Immediate area is not ideal for walking at night, as most life is about 10 minute away

Liked how close this property was to CFG Bank Arena. 10 minute walk. Easy walk, but walk in groups. Not a safe neighborhood to be alone.

Room was clean but old. The shower tap was lose and the screws were stripped and they couldn't tighten it so basically it was a lesson in frustration to just get the shower temperature right. The breakfast... so we got up early so you would assume that everything was fresh. Nope the eggs and sausage were like rubber. So we decided to eat the prepackaged yogurt, turns out it expired on the 15th "we checked in on the 25th" and for our entire stay they never put out more yogurt. There was a waffle iron that they would leave the batter out and the smell would permeate the lobby and it would start to smell like rotten dough. The elevator had a permanent smell yet always slightly different but no less bad. The area, it was really close to the concert we were seeing and during the day it was nice. But at night we had tons of druggies heckling us on the way back from the concert. So, in the room (besides the shower) it was pleasant enough and the staff was all very polite and friendly but the rest was just a big no.

The place was nothing great but i knew what i was getting into with the price i paid. It had an ok bed, a shower that had enough pressure to take a shower. It came with breakfast but it was barely edible. I didnt expect much from my stay cause i was never there, just to sleep and shower

This is a basic hotel. Good location of the arenas and within easy walk. It’s a bit of a jump to the city centre and felt like it was on the edge of a rough neighbourhood. The hotel itself was nice enough and clean. Beds were comfy but the breakfast wasn’t up to much.

The pillows had obviously not been cleaned, and reeked of a previous guest's cologne. I got a large orange juice, fortunately looked before I took a sip, as there were countless dead gnats/flies floating in it. Took a look at the machine and saw it was covered in flies/gnats. Just disgusting.

Not close to transportation or any food. Parking limited on street to 4hrs annd it’s 6am to 8pm Area is not clean or very safe. Breakfast was not good. No warmers for hot food so what they make you have to reheat in microwave. Coffee ok but no lids. Our room was good but water pressure was bad so showers not good. Not a place I would not recommend
