The hotel is awesome- really cool and modern and close to the airport. But two things really stood out as being unusually inconvenient: 10 am checkout feels really early, and the airport shuttle service is terrible. It’s hard to find, and then once you do find it, you can wait forever. I was waiting almost an hour before telling the woman there that I’m abandoning it and calling an Uber. The hotel LOOKS like it’s walking distance from the airport, but it isn’t. You can’t get to that side of the airport on foot, so you have to take a vehicle. Cut your losses and take an Uber for $10AUD more than the shuttle.

There is much to like about this hotel , however as someone who is a keen gym user I have been very disappointed that the precor cross trainer machine has not been working the last 3 times I have stayed here in the last 6 months. This is unacceptable quite frankly. I will not be staying here again as a result.

The hotel is very close to the airport. They do have an airport shuttle, but costs $15 per person. Our Uber ride was cheaper. Room was clean and quiet.

Checking was quick and staff are lovely. The rooms at the Citidines Connect Mascot however have really dropped in standard. Sure size is ok. But they look tired and unloved. The bathrooms especially which use to have white grout between the tiles are now grey mould. There appears to be no effort put into upkeep and it shows. Such a shame as it's a lovely looking hotel in a convenient location to the domestic airport and reasonably quiet.

Very clean. Room was smallish but had an open closet area/luggage Bench and hanging rack that was a clean and great use of the space. Bathroom was clean and modern - really pretty decor. I would def recommend and stay there again if I needed a place by the airport again. Walked from the terminal 2 around 10:15 pm and felt safe (especially bc families were walking too) and it only took about 15 minutes. Elevator buttons took several tries to work.

A well presented property. All you need for an overnight stay. Clean and tidy. Convenient to the airport. The only disappointment was the shower which had mouldy grout between the wall tiles, and in some places, the grout was missing from the shower floor tiles.

Overall, this place was decent and it was very conveniently located near SYD airport. The 24h cafe has some good options and the check-in and check-out processes were quick and simple. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. One key area of concern was the cleanliness of the room - there was stains on the carpet as well as all over the bench near the bed, which was really unpleasant to see.

Coffee cups in our room had been used, looks like wiped out with a cloth (inside cup), then placed back on shelf. The outside of cups were filthy, cleary not washed. The tiles in shower recess have major leakes, to the point of water squirting back at you when srepped on.

I feel very frustrated that this location does not allow payment by cash yet they choose to still charge a surcharge to use the only payment method you allow. Whilst it’s only a small cost, why not factor that in the room charge as it’s just a bad feeling when a customer is made to pay extra to pay you via your required payment method. The room itself was great and the furnishings and decorations were very tasteful. However the shower was filthy on the floor around the edges and mould in the grouting. I wiped some tissue on the floor where the gunge was evident on the floor and a brown residue was left. This shows that the shower has not been properly cleaned in sometime and quite frankly it’s disgusting and unacceptable. There are many transferable germs and viruses in the area and I don’t want to pick something up due to the laziness of your cleaning team. The bed sheets appeared to be clean and freshly laundered. The mirrors in the bathroom and bedroom were both covered in a layer of dust - again - something not thoroughly cleaned for at least a week or two.

The room had a noticeable and unpleasant smell, which was a bit off-putting. There was also a fan or similar noise running all night outside the room, which made it hard to sleep. The Grab and Go selection was quite limited, and we had to ask about the free drinks offer included in our package, which was disappointing. Additionally, the hotel shuttle service was relatively expensive, we found using Uber to be more cost-effective.

* poor condition room * acceptably clean * 15-20 min walk to both Mascot train station, and to domestic terminal * there is a shuttle bus but I did not use it as it was more expensive than an uber * was awoken at 3am as the room directly overlooks a propeller plane parking area, and the soundproofing was absolutely inadequate * The "premium" room did not feel premium whatsoever * Even though this hotel was on the cheaper end I'm still disappointed and would not recommend it.

The electrical outlets in the room were not working. Only 1 worked to charge devices. The TV also did not have internet connection. After calling the front desk the nice gentlemen said that the tvs have been acting up and they have not been working. We should have been notified as we were looking for a night to relax before an early flight.

The lighting, aircon and plugs did not work when I arrived but the TV was on - called reception who came immediately to reset which fixed the electrics but then the TV stopped working. The room was clean enough but some hairs on bathroom walls, temperamental toilet flush (slightly broken) and debris on the main room floor. Was very affordable and good proximity to the airport. Didn’t use the advertised shuttle as $15 and an uber was cheaper.

The room was decent with one exception. The floor tiles in the bathroom were missing some grout and were a little loose. Also, the room was fairly compact, especially in the entry, it was really tight just trying to bring the suitcasesin.

The hotel was ideal for airport flight i had booked. The rooms were had everything i needed for an overnight stay and felt clean..However, the reception staff were not particularly welcoming and i felt they weren't really bothered that a paying guest had just arrived but more that they were doing me a favour, it felt a little uncomfortable to be honest..Maybe after staying at two other hotels recently which had superb customer service and were really welcoming, and with all the airport staff being so attentive and caring that i have had such a good experience which reflected badly on them... Having said that the Morning reception staff - no complaints the guy was really helpful and friendly.

DO NOT STAY HERE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. After traveling for three hours, we arrived only to discover that we had accidentally booked the wrong night. To our dismay, we were informed that there were no rooms available, and we would need to contact Expedia for assistance. This situation was incredibly stressful, especially since all communication with Expedia had to be done via text. In my frustration, I approached a staff member to inquire about the availability of another room. When I learned that there were indeed rooms available, I was relieved and asked if we could pay the extra fee to stay. However, the manager on duty, Grace Nygeun, was incredibly rude. She interrupted the staff member while they were addressing my concern and was dismissive of my situation. Despite acknowledgment that it was an honest mistake, she showed no sympathy and insisted demanded we pay full price, with no possibility of a refund. I have never encountered such unhelpfulness in a hotel, particularly during such a stressful time, as we had a very early checkout scheduled for 5:30 am the next morning. As a result, we ended up paying $425 to stay at an BUDGET HOTEL. I hope that your hotel will take this feedback seriously, as it has left a lasting impression. I would advise potential guests to consider alternatives, such as the Stamford, Crown Plaza or Ibis, which are in close proximity. Expedia were misinterpreted and I believe that is due to the disrespectful manager on charge at the time Grace

Very clean room, friendly and helpful staff. We could store our luggage early in the morning before our room was ready. We paid for their airport shuttle service to the airport the following morning. Very quick stay but would recommend if you need a good hotel close to the airport.

I didn’t get the room I requested and when I asked if I could get the room I paid for I was told they were unable. When I walked away they laughed at me as I was both tired and visibly frustrated. I didn’t receive any of the complimentary things I was suppose too get. The dining experience was over priced 30$ for burnt scrambled eggs, watery beans and small dry sausages. There was only watermelon. The room was defiantly not cleaned and had stains all over.

First stay here, so first impressions everything. Got off to a nightmare start by being harassed during checkin to produce a physical CC - despite having prepaid for the room. Had ApplePay, had a debit card - nope unacceptable. Forced me to pay $100 or wouldn’t let me check in! Disgraceful, and ridiculously old fashion. People travel on digital wallets now and 1990’s hotels like this need to grow up! They refunded the ‘security deposit’ upon checkout, without checking the room meaning it served NO purpose - so what was the point except to piss me off. I o/n at the airport often but won’t be here again, it’s back to the much more modern nearby Stanford.

Really helpful reception staff. Having the reception at the top of the building alongside other facilities makes great sense. Only an easy 10 minute walk from Domestic Terminal T2. The 'To Hotels ' signage could be a little clearer and more prominant from outside the terminal and along the route, is my only suggestion.

国内線からホテルまで、歩いて15分でした。送迎バスも用意されているようですが、運用間隔が長かったので、今回は徒歩で移動しました。国際線への異動は、ちょっと遠いので、Uberを利用しました。ホテルの周りには、レストランがなく、少し離れたところでも、テイクアウトの店が多く、アルコールのない店も多かったです。満足するレストランが見つけられなかった点は、残念でした。ホテルの位置、サービスには問題ありません。市内のホテルを利用するかどうか悩んだのですが、交通費もかかりますし、朝9時の飛行機だったので、今回は、駅近のこちらのホテルを利用させてもらいました。

This is a good place to stay within walking distance of the Domestic Terminal. Perfect if you have a late arrival or early departure. The rooms are relatively small but workable. The main issue that you will experience is the hotel is very near the runways and you do get airplane noise from 6 AM. Outside of the airport there is not much within close distance of the hotel.

Rooms were nice, views of the aiport unique and great beds to sleep on. Was not made aware that cleaning / towel changes were not done daily so kept having to chase at reception - It was apparently on the website but not told about it during check in. Extremely limited dining options.

Overnight stay but sadly maybe the last time. Reception staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfy. Thou previously there was meals offered and no just grab and go which is so appalling. I paid for breakfast and that was dreadful, I arrived at 08:15 and all that was on offer was cereal and pancakes. No toasties, not even bread to make toast and the cappuccino that was made for me was way too strong and the coffee tasted burnt. It’s a shame that this once lovely hotel has changed for the worse. The only blessing was the reception staff were lovely. Good bye Citadines.
