The location was ideal. Just steps away from the beach. The employees were all super helpful and accommodating. The housekeeping staff was amazing and provided daily visits to switch out towels and take out trash. Would highly recommend. The only inconvenience we experienced was having to park our cars across the street in very tight spaces.

It was the perfect location for our 4th of July vacay. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen and bathroom were on the small side but it served its purpose. Our room had AC but we only used at bedtime as we liked the fresh ocean air during the day. The motel is conveniently located on the beach (2 properties backed) with easy access. Each room had its own parking spot which is a plus! The only downside is the train track which does get a bit load when one is passing through. It’s all along OOB and is unavoidable unless you stay in one of those high rise apartment buildings. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and we would definitely book this place again!

Every room has an assigned parking space within a short walk to your door. The rooms are clean and decorated nicely in a perfect beach vibe. The kids loved the nice clean private pool. Located right next to the beach. Close to everything OOB has to offer. Owners were friendly charming people. A great deal for a great vintage renovated motel by the beach experience!

They didn’t have adequate parking on ground. Several different staff called within a 15 minute period for the same thing and then when I returned another staff member told me the same thing. Not pleased and wouldn’t stay again. Not worth the money

It's a motel on the beach side of OOB. There are many others like it that I've stayed at. This place is OK - had a room for 3 with double and 2 twins. No couch - we had to sit on double bed to watch tv. Parking for 1 car only - real pain if you have 2 cars for overnight parking. Not any options! Had to beg for a spot but they did get me one thankfully. Liked the shared patio with table - pool is small - no beach view.

Let me first qualify that I am partially disabled and further that I made no inquiries or formal requests regarding the accessibility of the unit. On day one of five, another guest was parked in our reserved space not in the primary lot immediately located at the bottom of the stairs. but rather across the Main Street behind another building. On the first days, the caring staff allowed us to park in another space in the main lot. This was greatly appreciated. So, we felt welcome and. like the staff went out of their way to assist us and make sure we were as comfortable as possible. If I had the trip to do again, I am confident that the staff would have done everything they could to put us in a first floor room with an assigned space in the main lot. So while I feel it could have been slightly more convenient, I accept full responsibility

This hotel is located right by the beach and near the pier, which is convenient. They offer a parking spot dedicated to your room, which is awesome. The biggest complaint we have is how thin the walls and ceiling are. We were woken up at all hours by our upstairs and side neighbors, even though we slept with a fan and AC on. I can't blame the motel for inconsiderate guests, but it wouldn't have been an issue if the walls were thicker.

Upon entering that carpet was old, dirty and stiff. They had a futon that was old and decrepit. The kitchen facilities were very small. The stove was covered with the dirty aluminum foil. The sink in the kitchen kept plugging up. The bathroom was big enough for a toddler, the shower was so small you couldn’t turn around the toilet was so close to the sink. It was hard to stand up. The pool was so small. It was big enough to hold five people at one time. The pictures online were extremely deceiving and I will never go through Expedia again. This whole vacation was absolutely useless after what I paid for the room at night I was so disappointed. We actually ended up leaving a day earlier, so so disappointed

This is a wonderful hotel! Very clean and very comfortable. We stayed here for three nights and definitely will stay here again when we are in town! Had a few questions and Whitney the owner was very helpful! Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean, comfortable place to stay!!

Although out dated, but what motel isn’t, it was really nice inside. Our rooms were clean, well maintained, AC worked well, beds were comfy. Access to the beach was about a min walk, they provide toys and beach chairs to borrow. The walk to the boardwalk is about 10/15 mins. We would def stay there again.

One night stay with 1 adult 3 teens. The room was very clean and comfortable. Less than a minute walk to the beach. Good location, close enough to walk to the pier, about 10 mins, but far enough away from all the noise that goes on all night. Great stay.

Only thing that was a negative was the bathroom. It was extremely small especially for plus size people. Also the bathroom sink was broken and fell off the wall.

The motel was well kept , my only gripe is the bathroom was the size of a broom closet, i will not be staying here again for that reason in itself, second the management was never in the office and the shared space was in front of my room and was claimed everyday by a family that staus there every summer and thinks that is theirs would of been nice to bring back food one night and eat it outside in the nice weather and not have toys and other peoples stuff all over like its their house. But if ypu are looking for a clean place and are under 160 lbs 5 foot 3 its a nice place

Very accommodating hotel. Office was closed when we arrived and they had called us to let us know room was open and we could check in later. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. Everything about the place was just right would definitely stay here again and recommend

On day one of five, another guest was parked in our reserved space not in the primary lot immediately located at the bottom of the stairs. but rather across the Main Street behind another building. On the first days, the caring staff allowed us to park in another space in the main lot. This was greatly appreciated. So, we felt welcome and. like the staff went out of their way to assist us and make sure we were as comfortable as possible. If I had the trip to do again, I am confident that the staff would have done everything they could to put us in a first floor room with an assigned space in the main lot. So while I feel it could have been slightly more convenient, I accept full responsibility

Whitney the owner is wonderful human, I had kids staying at another hotel & she allowed them to come swim in pool and in and out my room without issue! Our room was cleaned everyday. We were a very short distance to the beach! It was incredible. Only issue was a man snored so loud, I think he kept a few of us up half the night . Lol I would recommend to friends and family! I forgot to leave a tip but will make up for it next year! Thank for a really great place to stay and safe. Until next time. Laura

The location was ideal. Just steps away from the beach. The employees were all super helpful and accommodating. The housekeeping staff was amazing and provided daily visits to switch out towels and take out trash. Would highly recommend. The only inconvenience we experienced was having to park our cars across the street in very tight spaces.

Every room has an assigned parking space within a short walk to your door. The rooms are clean and decorated nicely in a perfect beach vibe. The kids loved the nice clean private pool. Located right next to the beach. Close to everything OOB has to offer. Owners were friendly charming people. A great deal for a great vintage renovated motel by the beach experience!

Great location to the beach and about half mile to the amusements. If you’re a lite sleeper be aware that the train from Portland to Boston is only a few blocks away. There is a road crossing maybe a half mile or so away that they have to use the horn for.

This was and will be my go to destination!! It was right on the beach and in pristine condition with some of the best views I have ever had in old orchard beach as well as some of the best people I’ve ever had take care of me in oob so I would recommend this place to anyone who loves a great hotel and loves great people!!

We loved our stay here. We’re annual (sometimes twice a year) OOB visitors and this was our first time staying at the Echo. It’s our favourite stay yet. Close to the beach, super clean rooms and property. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. The lady at the desk was so friendly and kind.. I wish I had gotten her name! We will definitely visit again :)
