We enjoyed staying at Bundeena Base very much. Hilde is a wonderful host who gave us good information about some of the dangerous animals in the area, which was helpful considering our kids like to find animals, lizards, etc. The pool area is nice and the house is very clean. We had privacy unless or until we needed anything (which we didn’t because everything was taken care of). The location is perfect - easy walk (short, slight uphill on way back from town) to beaches, grocery store, restaurants, etc. National park is essentially right in the backyard. Definitely recommend staying here with kids or without.

We were warmly welcomed and our stay felt like home. The rooms were comfortable and the house was superbly stocked, even down to the pizza plates we needed! The fenced garden was great for our little dog and the pool a huge hit. The perfect temperature. We loved the lcoation and being able to fully relax there.

The premises has 3 large bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. There are plentiful towels and everything you need for an effortless holiday. The pool was a major bonus which we thoroughly enjoyed. We were informed that there was renovations going on in the upstairs area 2 hours prior to checking in which meant we couldn't cancel. The bathroom did not have any locks, the barbecue was dirty. The owner came to the house at night while we were listening to music in the patio and scared all of us as it was not announced. We just needed private and relaxing time with family. A bit of communication would have worked a wonder, felt very uncomfortable and scared. Other than the view, I would not recommend this place for more than 4 people. Let's just say we couldn't wait to leave. We informed the help centre and there was nothing done about it.

Loved this cool place! The owner has put a lot of thought into making it a lovely space to be in, and we really appreciated the mini tour through the place when we first arrived, which meant we knew exactly how to find the things we needed without having to read pages of instructions! Hilde was true to her word, available if needed and respectful of our need for tranquility. Could easily have stayed longer, and had a couple of drinks with her actually- perhaps next time we visit we can do that
