This was the WORST hotel I have ever been to. Firstly, the entrance door is so poorly constructed that it will crush your hand when closing from the outside. Happened to me twice and is extremely painful and dangerous. The owners behave bizarrely as well. On several occasions, the man became irrationally agitated at normal levels of noise at late hours. He accused me of "slamming doors" which was simply untrue. The front door makes barely any noise when closing, even if you leave it to close on it's own. I was careful not to be too loud when coming and going, but he still complained. He even had the cheek to blame ME for his insomnia, because of the door noise. He claimed it woke him up and he couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. Sorry, but it isn't the fault of the guests if the owner is unstable and an insomniac. I've already mentioned in a different review, (we stayed twice), how they gave us room 5, which had ZERO privacy. The toilet was just in the bedroom, with only a slightly see through curtain separating it. I could also see stains on the carpet where previous guests had peed on the floor. The shower didn't even have a curtain separator! So anyone else staying in the room with you would be watching you shower! The place is also filthy. I got bed bugs from it, which is an absolute disgrace. I strongly advise anyone considering this place to avoid at all costs. The people giving good reviews must be used to staying in slums or sleeping rough on the streets. awful.

Got given the infamous room 5 that is mentioned in so many other 1 star reviews. It does in fact completely lack any privacy. The toilet has a see through curtain and the shower has nothing. Not even a curtain. So if you're staying in the room with more than one person, you are literally getting watched while you shower. That is an absolute joke and I'm not sure how they could possibly justify advertising that room as having a private toilet, when the bathroom facilities are anything BUT private. The lamp also has likely not been cleaned in years as it's FULL of dead bugs.

Really friendly team. It's like having a bedroom, restroom, shower all in one big room. The fridge is useful. There is a bus stop close by that is fairly frequent but it is a trek to Leuven. Plenty of car parking spaces. A car could be helpful. A taxi to Leuvan was €28 (2023). The shower was a cubicle but was really good.
