Great place to stay if you're traveling to Malacca for a short trip (I stayed 3d2n). Service from the front desk was impeccable! Location is near to the busy Jonker area (few minutes drive/ride) but far away to be less crowded. However, the immediate area around the property does not have much. There is a petrol station a few steps away with a mart so that'll be the best place for necessities. Food wise, we ate at Bica & Courtyard once and food was fantastic (nasi lemak spaghetti!). Immediate vicinity does not seem to have much good food but you can probably get food delivery if you want to eat in.

While it's not located at the heart of the tourist area, all else was perfect. Easy parking, lots of food options within 2-3 min walking distance, complete room amenities, good selection of TV channels, nice cosy gym, lovely breakfast offering and setting. Seriously hard to find a complaint even from a fussy person like me!

We had a pleasant stay in our recent 1 days stop over in Melaka. Parking was free and secured. Staff are friendly and room is spacious. The architecture and interior design are beautiful and plenty of attention to detail.

Chose to stay at Rosa Melaka on a 2 nights trip to Melaka with the family. It was our first time in the city/hotel but the staff put us at ease right from the smooth checking in process & continued to go the extra mile with any of our requests. The rooms are a decent size and relatively clean with the expected amenities. Only thing I can critique is the hygiene of the towels could improve -but I am sure this is something they will improve on. We had breakfast on one of the days and it had a healthy amount of options at a reasonable price. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted good! They have high team and buffet options during the day as well but I did not get a chance to try those. Hotel is located 15-30 minute walk from everything a tourist is supposed to see. Melaka is not exactly pedestrian friendly though so setting up grab on your phone is advisable. Property has lots of space for car parking as well. Overall I would definitely recommend staying at Rosa for your next trip here as I surely will stay here again myself! :)

If you ask me if I would stay here again? Yes I would. 1. Since the lobby is on the 1st floor, the guest receiving area /lounge should have a more proactive or trained staff. A security guard may not cut it. 2. Room service should be made available. At the time I was there, food can be ordered on the phone but guest has to collect the food from cafe. 3. The breakfast buffet should have a better spread for 38.10/pax. 4. Maybe place to hang cloths should be a bit longer. 5. The room I stayed was for 4 person. The number of power outlets were limited for guests use and kinda not very convenient to plug or unplug. These comments are my personal opinion. It is not meant to tarnish the hotel’s reputation. I feel if these small things are looked at, it would be a better place to stay. Otherwise, cleanliness is excellent, very spacious and comfortable room, staff at reception and cafe are always smiling, ample parking, not too far from town centre.

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is professional and polite. A lot of eco-friendly elements, like the use of fans along the corridors leading to the rooms rather than air conditioning everything. Security guard is always around.

Très joli hôtel, décor original : Charmant, propre, spacieux. Les personnels sont très accueillants. Par contre, les équipements de la salle du sport sont un peu vieux, il n'y a pas de piscine. Sinon ce sera parfait ! L'hôtel se trouve un peu près 10-15 mn à pied du centre historique Malacca.

I totally fell in love with this hotel. Love the grungy industrial vibe of the entire place. All very tastefully done and comfortable. Check in was fast and courteous. Room is Huge and clean. Facing the courtyard, it gives a new York kinda look. Breakfast is also nice and yummy.

Our 2nd time staying here. However, the experience this time is kinda disappointing. The room is really hot and stuffy when we enter. The aircon wasn't really working as well, it is not cooling the room at all. The toilet was also very cramp compared to the previous stay. The remote for the TV or the TV was not functioning properly as well. We managed to speak to one of the house keeping crew who was cleaning the other room to get some new batteries for the TV remote. However, it doesn't seem to be the case and he did not tell us anything and when we ask him about the aircon, he again pressed something then left.Maybe it would be nice if he could communicate to us what is happening instead of just walking off. Luckily, the aircon starts to get cool but the TV is still acting weird. There is no Netflix on available as well. If possible please avoid room 404 or probably the rooms of the same stack. Will probably consider staying in another hotel the next time i visit Malacca.

The only issue I have at Rosa Hotel which unfortunately is a big one for me was the air conditioning system. It is operated via split system and not centralized. Hence there is no way to adjust the fast speed which blows directly onto one of the beds for the Family Suite. The aircon vent was also loud and rattling. Apart from this, I would have rated the hotel high on all fronts.

This is a lovely quirky hotel which is refreshingly different from all the other chain hotels. We upgraded to premium and had a large four poster bed. A massive shower room. If you fancy a change from the bog standard chain hotels then definitely try this one.

Quirky hotel with lovely staff. Every staff member was cheerful and welcoming. Breakfast was OK. Nothing fancy but good enough and certainly good enough for the price. Room was good. A little bit dark but we were out most of the time so it didn’t matter. Easy walk (15 mins) to all tourist attractions. I would recommend.

Unique experience and the rooms are so pretty with rustic and concrete feel. Nice room environment. The hotel, thoigh small elutes a very friendly feel and the staff are so nice and accommodating. The staff who helps make up pur room really puts in extra effort to ensure our room is neat and tidy every day. Worth a try and stay!

Chose to stay at Rosa Melaka on a 2 nights trip to Melaka with the family. If you ask me if I would stay here again? Yes I would. 1. Since the lobby is on the 1st floor, the guest receiving area /lounge should have a more proactive or trained staff. A security guard may not cut it. 2. Room service should be made available. At the time I was there, food can be ordered on the phone but guest has to collect the food from cafe. 3. The breakfast buffet should have a better spread for 38.10/pax. 4. Maybe place to hang cloths should be a bit longer. 5. The room I stayed was for 4 person. The number of power outlets were limited for guests use and kinda not very convenient to plug or unplug. These comments are my personal opinion. It is not meant to tarnish the hotel’s reputation. I feel if these small things are looked at, it would be a better place to stay. Otherwise, cleanliness is excellent, very spacious and comfortable room, staff at reception and cafe are always smiling, ample parking, not too far from town centre.

Quirky hotel with lovely staff. Every staff member was cheerful and welcoming. Breakfast was OK. Nothing fancy but good enough and certainly good enough for the price. Room was good. A little bit dark but we were out most of the time so it didn’t matter. Easy walk (15 mins) to all tourist attractions. I would recommend.

Our stay in Rosa malacca was sweet and sour. The hotel was converted from an industrial building. Interior design is impressive. Staff is friendly. Walking to city center is a bit challenging because there’s no sidewalk along the way. Overall cleanliness is good. We were on the second floor and people dining in the cafe echoed lots of noise inside the enclosed garden. The sour experience is we found out at the airport that US$1300 was missing in a sealed envelope which has been locked in the safe inside the room during the stay. The trip was more expensive than we planned.

While it's not located at the heart of the tourist area, all else was perfect. Easy parking, lots of food options within 2-3 min walking distance, complete room amenities, good selection of TV channels, nice cosy gym, lovely breakfast offering and setting. Seriously hard to find a complaint even from a fussy person like me!

Stayed here 2 years ago and really liked it so came back this time. However, standards are really not the same as before. The rooms are a little dated and the toilet sewers gave off a bad smell at night. So bad that we were awakened by the smell. Also, our room was beside the service room and overnight, we kept hearing the opening and slamming of the service doors possibly by the hotel staff. That lasted till 10 plus pm and started again before 6am. Would probably not go back again on our next trip to malacca.
