Amazing resort! They think of every little detail. The food was outstanding! Hugo the pool concierge is wonderful. Silvana was so enjoyable and fun. Astrid our room concierge planned everything for us that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Don’t miss the tequila tasting! One of the best spas I have ever been to!!!

My third stay at the Grand Velas Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who ensured a smooth check-in process. The grandeur of the hotel's lobby instantly set the tone for the luxurious experience that awaited me. The room as always was immaculate and tastefully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Every detail, from the plush bedding to the premium amenities, spoke of high quality. The daily housekeeping and turned down service was impeccable, maintaining the room's pristine condition throughout my stay. Dining at the Grand Velas was an unforgettable culinary journey. This is a beautiful hotel, grounds, and numerous restaurants. We had a huge 2000sqft room with windows with sliding doors on two sides of the room. In room hot tub and a plunge pool on the deck. Beautiful sunrise views. The shower was massive, overhead, 3wall jets, and a wand. It was so nice I didn’t want to get out. There are 5 huge infinity pools and hot tub on the grounds. I loved this place and didn’t want to leave! We are vegan. Very little on the menu for the many really nice restaurants. This was a little stressful, but they made custom dishes for us, and we ate well. The many activities in the area will pick u up at the hotel lobby. We even saw whales from our room in May, which is rare.

This is it… the best all inclusive resort in Mexico period. This was our second time coming here and honestly this place doesn’t miss a beat. Food, drinks, facilities, rooms are just above and beyond expectations. People here are amazing and they really cater to everyone’s requests without hesitation. Luis Aguilar, Braulio Carmona, Rodrigo Rojo and Fernando Ocampo are all over the pool and they were AMAZING the entire week that we were there, truly unbelievable. Thanks a lot! From the kids club Karla y Martha were just amazing taking care of our 10 year old during her visits to the kids club. Our concierge Daniel was also always helpful and attentive to all of our request. The people listed above was the one that we mainly interacted during our stay, I can tell you that everyone else it also super nice, attentive and ready to jump in to make your stay great! We also visited ALL restaurants and both bars during our stay, it seemed to be a large group in a conference but even like that everything was amazing, from a omelette and coffee in azul at 7am to dinner at cocina de autor at 8pm. This place is a culinary experience like no other resort I’ve ever been. Wonderful stuff! Huge shoutout for everyone and thank you for all your attention to detail and time. This vacation was truly magical thanks to all of you! We hope to be back soon!! Best

Lovely property with beautiful views, nice rooms, excellent staff and good dining options. The buffet restaurant, Frida and Lucca restaurants were excellent food and service (portions could be a bit bigger, but the resort is all-inclusive so you can always order more). We had a problem with musty odor in one of our rooms which despite staff trying to replace/clean a carpet, did not abate. It limited our ability to use the room, which was part of a two-bedroom ambassador suite we reserved. On that note, the 2-BR suite is not really a suite. It is two adjoining rooms. The listing on Expedia also indicated a "plunge pool" (in two places on the listing), which is not part of this room class. I pointed that out to management as it is essentially false advertising. The management offered us a concession on a future stay and we would happily stay there again, but I think the ambassador 2-BR family suite is not advertised correctly. The pools are beautiful and there are nice amenities like a kids club, teen club, ping pong, etc. The beach at the resort is not swimmable but excursions from Cabo are easily arranged through 3rd parties and it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the marina, where there is also a public beach easily accessible. All in all, we'd happily stay there again, and anticipate the management will honor their commitment to remediating the inconvenience we experienced with the room issue. Thanks!

This resort is for sure a 5-star resort. All the food was terrific, top-shelf drinks, and the ocean view corner suite with the plug pool was terrific. Also, whale watching from the balcony in the morning and around 3 pm was a site to see. We will be back at this resort soon enough.

The property is immaculate. The grounds are beautiful. The adult overlooks the ocean and is quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly, polite, and go out of their way for you. The food is excellent and probably the best food we've had at an all-inclusive property. I can't say enough wonderful things about Grand Velas.

Grand Velas was absolutely amazing! It’s no surprise the hotel is so highly-rated; everything from the food, to the staff, to the aesthetic of the property is absolutely amazing. My only complaint? I wish the mattresses were softer and more plush lol

The staff was very nice but room was tired, food was ok. I am disappointed to have wasted one night of my Cabo vacation staying at grand velas- not at all a 5 star stay. Loud kids everywhere too.

The property is immaculate. The grounds are beautiful. The adult overlooks the ocean and is quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly, polite, and go out of their way for you. The food is excellent and probably the best food we've had at an all-inclusive property. I can't say enough wonderful things about Grand Velas.

This is a beautiful hotel, grounds, and numerous restaurants. We had a huge 2000sqft room with windows with sliding doors on two sides of the room. In room hot tub and a plunge pool on the deck. Beautiful sunrise views. The shower was massive, overhead, 3wall jets, and a wand. It was so nice I didn’t want to get out. There are 5 huge infinity pools and hot tub on the grounds. I loved this place and didn’t want to leave! We are vegan. Very little on the menu for the many really nice restaurants. This was a little stressful, but they made custom dishes for us, and we ate well. The many activities in the area will pick u up at the hotel lobby. We even saw whales from our room in May, which is rare.

The Grand Class Corner Suite was beautiful and spacious. The oceanfront balcony with private plunge pool was stunning! The food and drinks were excellent. Our concierge was attentive to any needs, especially coordinating a whale watching tour on short notice. The DJ played our favorite songs and provided excellent service as well. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Grand Velas. We highly recommend booking Grand Velas Los Cabo’s. The whale watching tour was amazing!

Lovely property with beautiful views, nice rooms, excellent staff and good dining options. The buffet restaurant, Frida and Lucca restaurants were excellent food and service (portions could be a bit bigger, but the resort is all-inclusive so you can always order more). We had a problem with musty odor in one of our rooms which despite staff trying to replace/clean a carpet, did not abate. It limited our ability to use the room, which was part of a two-bedroom ambassador suite we reserved. On that note, the 2-BR suite is not really a suite. It is two adjoining rooms. The listing on Expedia also indicated a "plunge pool" (in two places on the listing), which is not part of this room class. I pointed that out to management as it is essentially false advertising. The management offered us a concession on a future stay and we would happily stay there again, but I think the ambassador 2-BR family suite is not advertised correctly. The pools are beautiful and there are nice amenities like a kids club, teen club, ping pong, etc. The beach at the resort is not swimmable but excursions from Cabo are easily arranged through 3rd parties and it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the marina, where there is also a public beach easily accessible. All in all, we'd happily stay there again, and anticipate the management will honor their commitment to remediating the inconvenience we experienced with the room issue. Thanks!

This resort is for sure a 5-star resort. All the food was terrific, top-shelf drinks, and the ocean view corner suite with the plug pool was terrific. Also, whale watching from the balcony in the morning and around 3 pm was a site to see. We will be back at this resort soon enough.

The property was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. BUT, the hotel wrongfully overcharged us. We pre-paid our rooms through Expedia, and when we showed up at check-in, the hotel claimed that we owed an additional $864 because two of our children were over the age of 3. We were a party of 6. 2 adults and 4 children ages 17, 16, 13 and 11, all of which was entered with Expedia at booking. When we disputed at check-in that we owed any additional money over what we pre-paid, they told us they were dropping the issue. Then we noticed on our final bill, that the hotel did not drop it, but wrongfully charged us the $864. Expedia eventually refunded us the wrongfully charged amounts, but the hotel charging us under these circumstances was absolutely not appropriate. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING AT THIS PROPERTY. WE WERE NOT TREATED ETHICALLY BY THE MONEY PEOPLE THERE. This is a shame as the staff at the resort were otherwise very friendly and helpful people.

Fabulous. Meticulous. Exceptionally well trained staff. Felt well taken care of and you definitely get what you pay for. The only thing is that although it says tips included, they still seem to be very much expected. Take extra cash and be prepared to add tips at the restuarants.

I stay at this property every time I come to Cabo but I will not be returning. Pool service was terrible both days. I had to constantly ask to find my server and nobody would come to ask us what we wanted to eat/drink. I had to go to the bar to get my drinks myself because the server was nowhere to be found BOTH days. You go to cabo to enjoy the poolside service and there literally was none. When I arrived my family of 6 went up and down several times in the heat looking for the private car we reserved in advance. My dad is handicapped and the vehicle wasn't ready for us. I was told to look for a sign, there was none. When your paying $440 for car service you expect a little more. Lastly I booked a photography session with a “professional photographer” who appeared to be a staff member with a point and shoot camera. Overall disappointed I couldn't purchase more photos because they simply weren’t good.

The staff at this property are eager to please and are exceptionally hard working. The service and food were very good, the room was very comfortable with a great view. Loved the large balcony overlooking the ocean. The only thing I didn't like about the property was that it is located on a very busy highway. I would have preferred a pedestrian friendly area with shops that you could walk to. I loved walking the beach but felt a bit trapped not being able to leave the property without transportation.

Upon arriving we were blown away by the beauty of the resort. The layout was easy to navigate and the both sunrise and sunset are truly magical . Then the biggest surprise , the service . This place is second to non when it comes to staff attentiveness. Everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel special. Our concierge Astrid was there every second of the trip , so much love and care at the kids club. The food is culinary experience.

From the initial phone, call E concierge Fernanda to the front desk check-in Maria to our personal concierge Jose the training and follow-through of the staff is amazing. Combine this with the most beautiful luxurious hotel situated next to the waterfront five star dining in every restaurant you cannot go wrong with Grand Velas for those that want to save a few pennies. This is not the place for you for those that don’t mind spoiling themselves and their families and giving them a 10 star experience I highly recommend it. I’m a huge fan of this franchise. I visited Nuevo Vallarta Cabo San Lucas and looking forward to going to Cancun to visit the other resort.

El hotel cuenta con mucho diseño y excelente servicio en general, los alimentos en los centros de consumo son excelentes, el buffet de desayuno y comida rico, no espectacular. Hotel tranquilo y familiar aunque cuenta con una zona para adultos, si buscas fiesta no es opción, en plan relax y tranquilo es perfecto. Natalia Torres de concierge nos consintió de maravilla.

A huge thank you to Claudia, our personal concierge, who went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary trip was both memorable and joyful. Her attentiveness and warmth truly made a difference. The service overall was exceptional. Every staff member—from the bellman to housekeeping to the pool attendants—was professional, friendly, and eager to help. Property was beautiful. We never left. My child loved the kid’s club. Food at Sin Lin was the best. The ceviche bar was delicious too. The grill and the churros and ice cream and the coffee bar were all fun choices. The disappointing food was breakfast and lunch buffet at Azul which was bland and not up to the dining standards of the other restaurants. The hotel was all inclusive which is so nice. We were told tips were included but every check had a section to add more. Not knowing how much of the all inclusive went to the tips - it was hard to know how much more to add. Felt like many of the staff were hoping for more. Seems like when we’re spending that much money - we shouldn’t have to think about adding more tips. That would be my biggest complaint. The other annoying thing is that I asked for healthy snacks in the mini bar and I was told they would get back to me - but never did. Other than that - it really is a special place.

Overall beautiful resort but not quite the experience we were expecting given price differential over other resorts in area. Have stayed previously at Hyatt ziva and Garza Blanca which were 40-50% cheaper for all inclusive so my star rating is reflective of that The food was similar caliber at each experience. I had fishy sea bass one evening Cocktails were sadly often too sweet and was surprised not higher level liquor and wine for the price. Coffee shop was good and nice easy breakfast options Buffet fairly avg but really enjoyed the fresh quesadillas (but had similar at other resorts) No unsweetened yogurt- always out of cottage cheese Pools are beautiful but no area less than 4.5ft so kids tired easily swimming and we had to constantly be on guard. Lifeguards mostly watching ocean Had some difficulty ordering food and drink poolside due to staffing and requiring in person orders vs mobile. Ice cream only open 12-2 and 6 flavors or so only so kids disappointed. Ocean is not swimmable- which we knew ahead of time but beach is beautiful Enjoyed the yoga and meditation classes each am Kids club was great with evening activities daily I booked on Expedia as had some perks like $100 dining credit- couldn’t use $50 spa credit- everything was 300$ and didn’t apply to the water experience which is what I got so couldn’t Half off transportation- did not apply because needed different sized cars each way as meeting family so couldn’t accommodate Overall not worth $
