Quiet area, comfortable bed, spacious room, good internet, good price. But I couldn't get any hot water. I didn't talk to management about it since I was only going to be there for a few hours. Despite the hot water situation, I would stay here again.

The staff was very helpful, giving us a key for our son's room when he was going to be arriving late in the evening. Great attention to detail, he wanted to make sure everything was good in our room. The staff was also very friendly with pets and made them feel welcome. Great place to stay, exceptional for the price. The only thing missing was coffee pots in each room, but you could get coffee in the hallway.

Excellent customer service, had Roku TV, right next door to Tim Hortons, easy access to malls and services. Plug in for block heater. Walls are thin-could almost hear their conversations and their tv was quite audible. Bed was quite firm so I didn’t sleep super well. Not enough hot water-was trying to wash my face and there was no hot water left.

What a gem this place turned out to be! It looks like an old car dealership that was converted into a motel. Rooms are huge and the place was so quiet the night we spent there. Cleanliness is a 10/10.

Let me start off by saying that I'm sorry to be writing this review. I think this is a family-owned business, so I was initially glad to be supporting them, but at the end of the day, poor quality is poor quality. I am surprised with all the good reviews, which was why I booked the place to begin with! To be blunt, the place is dingy and depressing and yes, old. But old is 1 thing-old AND decrepit is another. I did not find my room to be particularly clean; I could see dust on the edges of the carpet. The bathroom is so small, the doorknob has dug into the wall. Shower curtain-dirty on the lower edge-blech! Needs to be replaced! I didn't feel safe as well. The surrounding area feels sketchy, being as it's on the outskirts of town along one of the major throughfares. My room faced this vacant and depressing lot. The one good thing was at least it was pretty quiet! Again, I'm sorry to have to say this, but I was glad to get the heck out of there in the morning. :(

We had planned on staying 5 nights in this motel. But when we got into our room, we found a large spider web in the corner! Judging from the dust on the web, it must have been there for a long time. The floors were dirty and the place just looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. I told the front desk about the spider web and asked to have the room cleaned. But by the second night, they had still not done it. So we checked out early. Also, the bathroom light is on a timer and the switch is outside the door. So after I climbed into the shower and got shampoo in my hair, the lights suddenly went off! Luckily I was able to knock on the door and my wife came to turn the light back on again. The next day, the same thing happened to her! I'm glad we checked out. We will never go back!

It was a very quiet, private, clean space. The self check-in was different as far as hotels/motels that I’m use to goes. If you’re unfamiliar with this specific type of electronic lock and/or have hearing issues as I do, you’re probably better off just calling the office for instructions or to have them unlock it remotely. Other than that, I highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Swift Current.

It was a quick stay. I checked in around 9pm then left at 4am to try and beat a winter storm. Check in was easy. I received an email with my room number and key code. I never did meet the owner or staff. The bed was comfortable and the price was right for what I was looking for. Parked right in front of the room which was also convenient. Thanks!

We always choose stay at the Widus Inn on our cross-country travels. Conveniently locayet off the highway, with many restaurants and gas stations nearby. The rooms are very clean, beds are super comfy, and the rooms are huge! James the owner is incredibly pleasant and works really hard! We'll definitely be back next Spring!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. The motel isn’t much to look at from the outside (it’s old and plain) and there are no special amenities but the room was spacious and had everything we needed. Very good location- easy to get on and off the highway and next to a Tim Horton’s for convenient breakfast. Great value for the price! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Hidden Gem!! This little hotel has everything 😍 The check-in was smooth, and the owner/manager, Mr. Kim is excellent. The room was very spacious and super clean. Free WiFi, complimentary Keuring coffee, and tea. There is a golf putting mat in the hallway that we enjoyed using it (forgot to take a picture) The hotel vibe is awesome and safe. The Widus Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to different food options and other activities like the casino or a little outdoor mall behind. We had a great time and will definitely come back again. Thank you for your hospitality ❤️😍

The room was very nice, beds were lovely and very comfortable, room was clean. Coffee, tea, water available in the hallway. Definitely could use some beatification outside, had I not checked reviews on this motel, I would have passed on by due to the exterior. Had a good nights sleep, and the fellow at the desk was very pleasant. I would stay here again.
