The rooms are big, well kept. Big tv. Great pool and view from pool. But pool is at least 1 mile walk from hotel. There is a very steep hill to climb. No transportation available. You are isolated at this hotel. No restaurant, bar or gift shop. You can have deliveries at a cost but security gate is difficult to get into unless you use the "referred vendor". The only way to the town of san poncho is to walk on the beach or over walking bridge or order a taxi. You must have a gate key to leave or enter. You inly get 1 card so you cannot split up. If you dont mind walking 15 minutes each way in sand or cobblestone to get food, drinks or snacks its fine. Otherwise nice hotel. Alberto is very helpful.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I never write reviews but I can't let this one go...The photos look inviting but this hotel is really just an empty shell of a building which has fallen into decrepitude. Nothing is functional - bathroom doors don't close, TOILETS DON'T FLUSH, NO TV, NO HOT WATER, POOL IS FREEZING AND COVERED IN DEAD BUGS, NO TOWELS AT THE BEACH CLUB, NO WORKING LIGHTS IN THE BATHROOMS at the beach club (which also happens to be a 20 minute walk from the hotel). There is absolutely no service offered here: no coffee put out or even in the rooms, and no restaurant. There are so many better options out there in hotels where the ownership creates and sense of warmth, welcome and hospitality. This place feels like a cold, soulless bunker filled with beds. Do yourself a favor and keep looking!

Es una propiedad bastante grande y no está completamente, cuidada, hay bastante áreas descuidadas y sin personal, para atender tus necesidades, ya que la 2 únicas personas que atienden de un momento desaparecen, y solo dejan un número de celular para que hables, por si necesitas algo, Pero realmente no hay nadie en toda la noche solo un velador que no sabe nada de lo que preguntas, le falta más atención.

La alberca está increíble tiene una vista maravillosa, el hotel súper tranquilo y cómodo, puedes bajar al pueblo por hotel ya que solo lo divide el río del pueblo y puedes ir caminando, es súper seguro y se come delicioso, excelente !!!

Excelente servicio al cliente, por su personal muy amable. El único punto a mejorar es contar con Palapas y camastros en la playa, ya que además de no estar tan accesible llegar, no tiene donde poder sentarse/relajarse a la orilla del mar.

Es un Hotel con un concepto muy diferente al Normal de Hotel Playa, sus Instalaciones son muy buenas para descansar y tranquilidad, su alberca preciosa pero el mar no esta a pie de hotel y ese seria el concepto diferente, para personas adultas que les sea complicado caminar y disfrutar la playa no es recomendable, pero excelente para personas que no tengan problemas para caminar, el recorrido sirve de ejercicio y relax, su servidor Mario Gómez García

Silvia was very accommodating and welcoming. They went above and beyond to look after us at any time of the day and night. The communication was also excellent. The grounds are beautiful and even tho you walk 5mins and are in town you feel completely in the jungle and the different pools offer different vibes. Highly recommend and would love to be back here with my family. Thank you so so much for everything!!

Lamentablemente una muy mala experiencia en esta ocasión, las almohadas olian mal, no llegaba el internet a la habitación, la tv sin señal y lo peor la alberca de la habitación no esta climatizada.

Realmente me encanto el lugar, una hacienda preciosa, solo que no cuenta con el personal suficiente, pedi me cambiaran el foco de la alberca de mi habitación y no lo hiciero, pedi agua y solo me diero la que estaba en la habitación cuando llegamos, los 3 siguiente dias no nos la proporcionaron y el Internet nunca fue posible tener el la habitación. Por estos detallles no pudo ser excelente.

Todo estuvo increíble! Desde la atención del concierge en todo momento, instalaciones padrísimas! La habitación con alberca está súper chida, si tienen oportunidad pidan esa! Acceso a playa privada para ver el atardecer! El pueblo está a nada de la hacienda y no causa conflicto el que no tenga servicio de alimentos o bebidas! De mis mejores estadías y el mejor hotel que hay en san Pancho!
Todo estuvo increíble! Desde la atención del concierge en todo momento, instalaciones padrísimas! La habitación con alberca está súper chida, si tienen oportunidad pidan esa! Acceso a playa privada para ver el atardecer! El pueblo está a nada de la hacienda y no causa conflicto el que no tenga servicio de alimentos o bebidas! Es un lugar perfecto para parejas, muy tranquilo, inmerso en la naturaleza, la zona de la alberca tiene una vista maravillosa, el servicio del personal es muy hospitalario, lo recomiendo ampliamente, buena relación calidad-precio. Me volvería a hospedar, el único detalle es el internet, pero como iba con el objetivo de desconectarme, eso no fue problema.

El hotel no tiene servicio de restaurante, no tiene cocina. Por lo que había que salir del lugar para poder consumir alimentos. El internet no funcionaba y la tele no tenía cable, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, no salía agua caliente de la regadera y los enchufe también fallaban. El precio por el que pagas no lo vale. No volvería

We arrived to a very confused security guy at the gate who was surprised to see us. After being on the phone for 10min, he opened the gate without saying anything (language barrier).. we drive towards the 'hotel'. No one in site. The bldg looks as tho its been closed since covid. rundown, torn curtains in the windows etc. the building & grounds look abandoned. So we get our Uber guy to drive us to a cafe in San Pancho to figure out what to do next. (this was New years' weekend so no vacancy anywhere). Called Expedia to explain this.. they found one room however it was 3x over our budget, so no. We managed to find one room in a sweet boutique hotel that we loved, so that was good. Being homeless in Mexico after taking the redeye was not a fun experience. *I did get a call that evening from a man from this hotel. He said they do not offer food or drinks there and it is a 'different type of hotel' said the people sleep late and then they wake up and go into town for the day.. not sure what that means, but we were not comfortable staying on a large derelict compound with no one there. He was very sorry for our misunderstanding etc.. as for Expedia on this manner.. Im not sure why they would even have this hotel listed as available for rent, it should be removed. *Side note, some locals told us that they generally use this hotel for polo matches and wedding groups only, which would explain the security guys' surprise at our arrival. Do yourself a favor and skip this one!

There was no STAY... when I arrived at the security gate, the guard called reception to say I had arrived. Reception said they did not have any booking. Reception would not let the guard let me through so I could have a face to face discussion with the receptionist, to show him my reservation. Hotels.com tried to call the hotel, they didn't pick up their phones. I emailed the hotel, and only later did the reply to say they had found my reservation, which by that stage was too late. Very poor service.
There was no STAY... when I arrived at the security gate, the guard called reception to say I had arrived. Reception said they did not have any booking. Reception would not let the guard let me through so I could have a face to face discussion with the receptionist, to show him my reservation. Hotels.com tried to call the hotel, they didn't pick up their phones. I emailed the hotel, and only later did the reply to say they had found my reservation, which by that stage was too late. Very poor service.

Silvia was very accommodating and welcoming. They went above and beyond to look after us at any time of the day and night. The communication was also excellent. The grounds are beautiful and even tho you walk 5mins and are in town you feel completely in the jungle and the different pools offer different vibes. Highly recommend and would love to be back here with my family. Thank you so so much for everything!!

The rooms are big, well kept. Big tv. Great pool and view from pool. But pool is at least 1 mile walk from hotel. There is a very steep hill to climb. No transportation available. You are isolated at this hotel. No restaurant, bar or gift shop. You can have deliveries at a cost but security gate is difficult to get into unless you use the "referred vendor". The only way to the town of san poncho is to walk on the beach or over walking bridge or order a taxi. You must have a gate key to leave or enter. You inly get 1 card so you cannot split up. If you dont mind walking 15 minutes each way in sand or cobblestone to get food, drinks or snacks its fine. Otherwise nice hotel. Alberto is very helpful.

La alberca está increíble tiene una vista maravillosa, el hotel súper tranquilo y cómodo, puedes bajar al pueblo por hotel ya que solo lo divide el río del pueblo y puedes ir caminando, es súper seguro y se come delicioso, excelente !!!

Es un Hotel con un concepto muy diferente al Normal de Hotel Playa, sus Instalaciones son muy buenas para descansar y tranquilidad, su alberca preciosa pero el mar no esta a pie de hotel y ese seria el concepto diferente, para personas adultas que les sea complicado caminar y disfrutar la playa no es recomendable, pero excelente para personas que no tengan problemas para caminar, el recorrido sirve de ejercicio y relax, su servidor Mario Gómez García

Todo estuvo increíble! Desde la atención del concierge en todo momento, instalaciones padrísimas! La habitación con alberca está súper chida, si tienen oportunidad pidan esa! Acceso a playa privada para ver el atardecer! El pueblo está a nada de la hacienda y no causa conflicto el que no tenga servicio de alimentos o bebidas! De mis mejores estadías y el mejor hotel que hay en san Pancho!

El hotel no tiene servicio de restaurante, no tiene cocina. Por lo que había que salir del lugar para poder consumir alimentos. El internet no funcionaba y la tele no tenía cable, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, no salía agua caliente de la regadera y los enchufe también fallaban. El precio por el que pagas no lo vale. The rooms were not very clean—the bed sheets were dirty and had an unpleasant smell. I reported this to the staff, but they did not offer to change them. While the staff was friendly, the overall cleanliness was disappointing. Additionally, one of the bathroom doors in the room was falling off, which was concerning. To make matters worse, when we left to go eat, staff entered our room without our authorization. This made us feel very uncomfortable. The rooms require a PIN for entry, but it seemed that staff members had access to it, raising serious privacy and security concerns. Overall, this experience did not meet our expectations.
