Service was above and beyond. Its located at a very convenient location, right out of the exit from the interstate 85. Pool was clean, very well maintained, and heated to perfect temperature. Breakfast was luxurious. Room was cozy and clean. I slept good.

Indoor pool goes up to 4.5 feet and open until 10pm which was great for the kids. Breakfast was yummy! The kids loves the pancake machine.

the breakfast was good. The room we booked was 2 queen beds but they called us at 1:30 on 8/30 and said they overbooked the rooms and it was not available. They suggested a one king bed room which was not good because it was myself and my adult son and we needed 2 separate beds. After much debate ended up with a king bed and a queen size sofa sleeper-which was not very comfortable. Got to room and there were dirty smear marks in bathroom all over floor, sticky spots on coffee table and worst of all I pulled back the blanket on the king bed and the sheets were dirty, stained and had hair all over - so obviously they never changed them.

Lastly’ was told that breakfast ended at 10:00 but when I went to get breakfast at 9:30, most of the food was gone and was told by the staff that they do not replenish after 9:30. Went down at 9 the next morning and breakfast had a large selection to choose from. Staff should not indicate that breakfast is through 10 am but it’s over earlier.

The property is dated and can use some upgrades (the shower seal was broken and maybe the shower just needs an upgrade but was sus.). The staff was very nice though. The room itself was as expected. The AC probably needs servicing also.

On the north side of town (a few miles from downtown) but within walking distance of Kahill's restaurant which is worth something. Large room, comfortable bed, very decent hotel breakfast buffet. With us not on the top floor, we heard stomping around from above at all hours but that may have just been the luck of the draw to have had something like 300 pound insomniacs up there.

I asked to change my room so that I could be with the group I came with. Request was completed, but clerk at the desk had a mix up on my reservation, and had me come up as a no show, & could not give me a receipt at check out. Also she told me to check my credit card statement, because I could be charged twice.

Tried to charge me $114 for incidental,then said she made a mistake.. it was $50 for incidentals but my card was charged $58.93 . I’ve never had a hotel add taxes on incidentals. So what is the added tax for and why?

The stay never happened. it was supposed to be a one-night business related stay, and the DAY of the reservation they called me and left me a message that they overbooked and were moving me to Fairfield Inn, which was a significant downgrade. Not cool.

Our one night stay was good. However, if you are passing thru off of 95 around Roanoke Rapids, the location is about 40minutes off of 95 but is right off of hwy85.

Everything within the hotels direct control was good but the truck stop next door made a continuous obnoxious rumble in our room. Most rooms are probably unaffected, we were just unlucky in that ours was on an outside wall facing the truck stop.
