The room was not clean. When we got there we noticed the sheets and towels had stains. They didn’t replace our towels. The pool was very dirty. We could not swim in it for our entire stay (5 nights). There were lots of misquotes inside our room. It was hard to keep them out. We had trouble locking our door. We had to jingle the handle to turn the key and lock it. There was no safe to keep our personal belongings. We had a hard time reaching the front desk. Had to call our own taxi almost every day. The property had one cafe that sold breakfast, lunch and dinner but limited hours and it was not included in our stay. The cenote park was nice and the activities (cenote tour, ziplining and kayaking) were included in our stay. You do have to pay for the locker and the taco bar and atv’s. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the park. No need for a taxi. The property itself seemed pretty safe. There were armed guards at the gate after 5 pm every night.

New and spacious 2 bedroom condo. Peaceful in the jungle with a beautiful huge pool. Staff was friendly and flexible. We really enjoyed our stay! The included access to cenotes and zipline and kyacking was fantastic.

The hotel room included free access to Cenotes Park and was very accessible to Xel-Ha and Tulum. Staff was very helpful. The room was large and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, new hotel, tucked in back of Cenotes Park, which visit is included with stay. Marvelous experience. Beautiful pool, very quiet. Near Tulum and many other cenotes and Mayan sites.

Entrée pour les cenotes inclu dans le prix. Très abordable. Le cenote club est très tranquille la semaine mais doit être très très bien le week-end car le set-up est incroyable pour faire la fête.

Hotel muy cómodo, tranquilo y seguro dentro del centro turístico Cenote Tortuga. Excelentes habitaciones e instalaciones dentro de un ambiente natural a pocos kilómetros de Tulum. Nos dieron acceso gratuito al cenotre Tres Zapotes, que es espectacular. Muy recomendable.
Hotel muy cómodo, tranquilo y seguro dentro del centro turístico Cenote Tortuga. Excelentes habitaciones e instalaciones dentro de un ambiente natural a pocos kilómetros de Tulum. Nos dieron acceso gratuito al cenotre Tres Zapotes, que es espectacular. Muy recomendable.

Leí diferentes opiniones,pero en lo personal el hotel fue bueno, no es muy moderno,pero para mi fue muy comodo junto con su alberca. Pero los cenotes me encantaron,ignoro porque dicen que parece un balneario, será por la cantidad de gente que va, pero tienen mucho personal que esta cuidando los cenotes y eso me gusta. Lo que pueden hacer es llegar desde que abren y disfrutar desde temprano.

Increíbles los cenotes y las áreas naturales. Muy bonito. La habitación es cómoda con varias carencias. No funcionó el internet en la habitación y es muy mala la recepción. No se podía ver la TV. El personal no es muy amable y el lugar tiene demasiado polvo. Si deseas cenar tienes que viajar a Tulum. No hay servicio de restaurante después de las 6pm.
Increíbles los cenotes y las áreas naturales. Muy bonito. La habitación es cómoda con varias carencias. No funcionó el internet en la habitación y es muy mala la recepción. No se podía ver la TV. Rentamos 3 habitaciones, pero solo yo tuve inconvenientes. 1ra habitacion yo pense que olia MUCHO a humedo, necesite salirme para tomar aire despues mi mamá que tiene mejor olfato me comento que era olor a gas, lo reportamos y nos cambiaron de habatacion ya que no me iba a quedar agusto, en el 2do cuarto que tuve el calenton de paso prendia y apagaba como si alguien abriera el agua caliente, se reporto y nos dijeron que era normal, claro que nos afecto en la regadera, si salia caliente pero no se calibraba, nos quemaba o salia muy fria. Aparte tenias hormiguitas, llevamos unas donas, que pusimos en el sillos y ni 5 min ya estan llenas de hormigas que tambien andaban en la cama. Repito todo esto solo me paso a mi a los de las otras dos habitaciones, todo bien.

We really wanted to love Hotel Casa Tortuga—but our experience was disappointing. Our taxi driver had trouble finding it and had to stop to ask for directions. When we arrived, reception was closed. Please don’t book this hotel I have the hotel but when I go to the room back door doesn’t lock I mention to the office the says 15 minutes he fixed after 10 minutes later he says I can’t fixed I ask him refund he don’t want to do that and he told me upgrade better room extra money he charged me $75 and I go the another room . The bedroom window is not lock night time nobody on the office you can’t contact them and very scary I left the hotel and call taxi and and I left the room I wasted my money time he should refund horrible place Expedia and other booking services please remove from website to this hotel

The room we had was great! It was super big and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The location is very close to Xel-Ha and just a short drive to Tulum.

Leí diferentes opiniones,pero en lo personal el hotel fue bueno, no es muy moderno,pero para mi fue muy comodo junto con su alberca. Pero los cenotes me encantaron,ignoro porque dicen que parece un balneario, será por la cantidad de gente que va, pero tienen mucho personal que esta cuidando los cenotes y eso me gusta. Lo que pueden hacer es llegar desde que abren y disfrutar desde temprano.

This place was 10/10 for us! My family and I were excited about this vacation and to be honest, this place exceeded our expectations. It was affordable, and all of the staff were very nice people! I'd definitely recommend going. We will definitely be back!

The room was not clean. When we got there we noticed the sheets and towels had stains. They didn’t replace our towels. The pool was very dirty. We could not swim in it for our entire stay (5 nights). There were lots of misquotes inside our room. It was hard to keep them out. We had trouble locking our door. We had to jingle the handle to turn the key and lock it. There was no safe to keep our personal belongings. We had a hard time reaching the front desk. Had to call our own taxi almost every day. The property had one cafe that sold breakfast, lunch and dinner but limited hours and it was not included in our stay. The cenote park was nice and the activities (cenote tour, ziplining and kayaking) were included in our stay. You do have to pay for the locker and the taco bar and atv’s. It’s about a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the park. No need for a taxi. The property itself seemed pretty safe. There were armed guards at the gate after 5 pm every night.

New and spacious 2 bedroom condo. Peaceful in the jungle with a beautiful huge pool. Staff was friendly and flexible. We really enjoyed our stay! The included access to cenotes and zipline and kyacking was fantastic.

The hotel does NOT have 2 restaurants and a bar/lounge. After 17.00 when the Cenote park closes there is no food or drinks available anywhere near, and the cafe next to the hotel opens at 10.00 so breakfast was not an option. The park was a 3 hour event so would recommend others to go by car/taxi/collectivo and stay at a hotel somewhere else.

Restaurant closed at 5pm, nothing else in area. The Baalman Restaurant requires reservation. Went to sleep hungry , when we were back from their atv tour the stores were closed. We didnt have a rental or transportation.

Increíbles los cenotes y las áreas naturales. Muy bonito. La habitación es cómoda con varias carencias. No funcionó el internet en la habitación y es muy mala la recepción. No se podía ver la TV. El personal no es muy amable y el lugar tiene demasiado polvo. Si deseas cenar tienes que viajar a Tulum. No hay servicio de restaurante después de las 6pm.

Beautiful, new hotel, tucked in back of Cenotes Park, which visit is included with stay. Marvelous experience. Beautiful pool, very quiet. Near Tulum and many other cenotes and Mayan sites.

Hotel muy cómodo, tranquilo y seguro dentro del centro turístico Cenote Tortuga. Excelentes habitaciones e instalaciones dentro de un ambiente natural a pocos kilómetros de Tulum. Nos dieron acceso gratuito al cenotre Tres Zapotes, que es espectacular. Muy recomendable.

Room for improvement- we liked it but 1) coffee maker but no coffee in the room, 2) balcony sliding door didn’t lock, 3) nozzle on faucet missing and faucet loose, 4) wi-fi needed to be reset twice, 5) wooden chair needed felt pads (terrible and unnecessary noise when moving the chair), 6) bathroom area needs wall hooks. Simple fixes would make it soo much better. Otherwise it was a good deal and we LOVED the cenotes, price was included.

I'd like to write a positive review, but I'm disappointed. I'm a travel agent, and I was fooled by the pretty photos and good reviews. If my clients had stayed at this resort, I'd have had to immediately find them a new place at my own expense. The only positive is that there are cenotes on the resort grounds, and if you're staying at this hotel, you don't have to pay extra to visit and swim in them, as well as a small zip line and kayaks. Buses and cars with tourists who pay for these activities arrive at the hotel territory every day. On the negative side: We arrived at almost 11 p.m., when everything was closed, it was dark and a bit scary, and we were met by a man who didn’t speak English. But he took us to our building, where we rented two rooms. When I inspected the room in the morning, I was very disappointed. There was no microwave in either room, only one room had a coffee maker, but I was shocked by the state of the refrigerator and the sink with faucet in the kitchen, dishwasher sponge. The bathroom had the same faucet, and the towels were old and stained. It smelled like an old, musty room that hadn't been lived in for a long time and hadn't been maintained. The second issue was the pool: it's never been cleaned, and no one ever swims there. The pool is beautiful and large, but it's covered in leaves and insects, and there are a lot of trees all around.
