外国のスタッフの方が多かったんですが、皆さん丁寧な接客でした。清掃も行き届いてて、部屋風呂、景色最高でした。タオルが毎回新しいのを使えるのも良かったです。ただ、館内は広くて案内版を増やして欲しいと思いました。館内着の上着から鉄板焼きの匂いがしました。上着は洗濯なしの使い回しなのかなと思い残念でした。

Just next to tourist attraction area, 5 hells out of the 7 hells within walkable distance. But there’s no frequent shuttle to Beppu station except reservation for check in and check out only.

宙館に宿泊しました。 食事はとてもおいしかったです！ 内風呂も気持ちよく、最高でした。 スタッフの方の笑顔も素敵でした。 ただ、大浴場はフェンスの存在により、景色を堪能できなかったです。 ラウンジも閉鎖的で長時間いたいと思える空間ではなかったです。 また、館内に入ると、スタッフの方が溢れるほどいたのに対し、誰も「チェックインはこちらです」と誘導される方がおらず、バイトさん？の接客力が少し低いと感じました。

I usually do not give ratings but this time I feel that I have to let people know how amazing this Ryokan/hotel is. First the location is right in the middle of Beppus 7 Hells. You walk out and around corner they are! Second the hotel has breathtaking views of Beppu and the sea. Third the ryokan do not look much from the street but boy when you walk in you are surrounded by absolutely beautiful japanese garden, pond and architecture. Fourth, all the 4 rooms we had had own beautiful onsen bath in them. Could not believe it how great it was. Fifth, there is an amazing public onsen on the rooftop with great views of Beppu and the sea with inside and open air onsens with beautiful garden and traditional japanese steam saunas which were the first for me and great experience. Sixth, the food!! We had half board and i strongly suggest it. not only the japanese breakfast is served in a unique way but the dinners… Delicious teppanyaki served right in front of you with amazing views of the city and second evening delicious 8 course Kaiseki served in perfect way. Just perfect! And last but absolutely not least: the service! The hotel staff goes beyond everything to make your stay perfect. I have travelled in Japan now about 30 times and I know it is in the custom but this is something else! If you go to Beppu stay here!! Thank you everybody there making our Beppu stay absolutely perfect and hope to visit you soon enough!

픽업서비스가 있어서 편안하게 숙소에 방문했고 룸컨디션은 아주 훌륭했습니다 객실안에 실내온천도 있고 대욕장에서 보이는 밤하늘 별도 아름다웠습니다 직원분들은 친절했고 다만 첫날은 한국어하시는분이 휴가라 조금 아쉬웠지만 큰 문제는 없었습니다 식사가 아주 훌륭했고 정성스러워서 만족스러웠습니다 근처에 편의점이 없어 15분정도 가야했는데 간김에 동네 둘러보고 뭐 나쁘지 않았습니다 지옥온천이 바로 앞에 있어 관광코스가 좋았습니다

We booked half-board accommodation for a room with a private outdoor onsen. That was a great decision. We can enjoy the onsen anytime we want. The place was clean and spacious with separate room for my daughter (which is tatami), ours have 2 large double beds. We loved the onsite mud bath particularly, only downside was it’s for women only so my husband didn’t get to enjoy. Dinner on both nights were delicious, waygu beef shabu shabu for one night and beef teppanyaki for the other. Highly recommended.

部屋は、広く快適で、備品もよく取り揃えられており、眺望も良く、言うことなしです。部屋風呂も温泉でいつでも入れるのが良かったです。大浴場の箱蒸しも楽しめました。

Best hotel with hot spring in your room and public baths too. The views are amazing. The food is gourmet. They made accommodations for special diets. The rooms in sorakan had a traditional feel but all modern and updated. They had a shuttle option from the main train station to the hotel which was super convenient. They are located directly in the middle of the popular sightseeing area for the jigokumeguri. So it was all walkable!

車が着くなり感じ良く出迎えて頂きまた高齢の母のため車椅子を準備してくださりありがとうございました。担当スタッフさんは皆さん気配り目配りが素晴らしく気持ちよく過ごすことができました。客室からの夜景も綺麗でした。源泉掛け流しの温泉は青白く肌に優しく連泊したいほどでした。鉄板焼きコースは目の前で焼いてくれるので楽しく食事ができ特にご飯お米が美味しかったです。お願いしたいのは脱衣所に着替えを入れるものが欲しかったです。概ね満足です。ありがとうございました。

기대한 것 만큼 너무 좋았어요. (버스정류장에서 올라가는길이 언덕이라 짐이 있으면 힘들긴한데 70대 부모님도 조금은 힘들어하셨지만 불만없이 잘 올라오셨어요) 숙소는 소라방했는데 방도 넓고 어메니티도 훌륭해요. 방안에 있는 스파는 사진보다 퀄리티면에서 아주아주 좋았어요! 저녁은 테판야끼로 변경하고, 조식은 3명에서 양식/일식 각각 먹었는데 식사도 너무 만족스러웠어요~ 한국말 하시는 남자 직원분이 계셔서 걱정을 많이했는데 너무 편안했고 식사 자리에서도 설명해주시고 음식맛은 어땠는지 여쭤봐 주셨어요. 다른 직원분들도 서비스가 너무 좋아서 대만족이에요! 숙소 크기에 비해 대욕장은 생각보다 작았어요~ 다음에는 대가족으로 독채로 장기투숙하려구요! 부모님 모시고 간 첫 여행이었는데 좋은 기억 남겨주셔서 감사했습니다~

We stayed Sora tradition western style, room is spacious, clean, and provides good amenities - like best face soap & moisturizer face creams, top of line hair dryer, Yukata, indoor & out door slippers, toothbrush with paste. I don’t have to pack anything. They provide for you. Only thing missing was body lotion. The indoor hot springs (in room) temperature was perfect, but outside terrace one was extremely hot, so hard to enjoyable. The Japanese style meals, the dinner and breakfast we select was 8/10. All great, but the soup wasn’t my favorite, however others might like it. In my opinion, the coffee wasn’t that great, but good selection of teas. I can’t complain the staff’s service. Top notch, they will make your stay comfortable, everyone so politely kind. So, my staying at here was best experience. Another plus things was next to Hell of Beppu and has great city view.

お湯がとても良かったです。 静かで、清潔でアメニティも充実していて、家族でゆっくり過ごすことができました。

We enjoyed ourselves very much. The room was spacious, clean annd tidy, and had all the amenities. The high view overlooking the sea was amazing. Everything we needed was taken care of. Dinner and Breakfast was very sumptuous. Highly recommended!

Very clean and highly attentive staff.

離れ和洋室に宿泊しました。お部屋は新しく眺めも良い部屋でした。朝夕食共とても美味しくサービススタッフも素晴らしかったです。ただ残念なことにお部屋の庭に落ち葉が積もっているし、雪駄は新しいのか足に指が痛いし。チェックイン後の客室内の説明がなく露天風呂の温度が低く調整ができなかったのが残念でした。

친절, 위치, 시설, 서비스, 조식, 석식 모두 만족합니다. 대욕장에 뭐가 둥둥 떠다녀서 관리가 필요합니다.

The rooms are very dated, and smell bad to the point it’s hard to sleep. And to add to it there was an enormous spider that was climbing around the room. It was the size of my hand. Paying around $800/night one would expect more peace. The dinner and breakfast was good, but nothing too special. I had to book a different hotel to sleep at for the second night of our stay, at around $200 and it was much nicer inside. I don’t ever complain about rooms and have stayed at many ryokans across Japan but this was simply not comfortable. I know it’s an old place in a great location but I want to keep it real for anyone else looking to splurge on an expensive stay like this.

Incredible place with top value. Choose the room with private outdoor hot spring. The meals are so delectable. The service is unmatched — it was raining as we drove up and a staff member rushed out to give us each an opened umbrella. The room and amenities are amazing.

Excellent!!! Loved our stay. Our room was so big and spacious. It was a traditional Japanese room. It was located right on top on the pond. The private onsen was heaven. We reserved for teppanyaki dinner and it was so delicious. Breakfast was excellent as well. The staff are so nice. We received free taxi ride to and from the station. The taxi driver was so nice as well. He was like a personal tour guide for the whole ride. Thank you so much and would love to stay here again.

The Ryokan was very nice and huge. There is a balcony to with a very nice view. The food was good and the room comes with indoor and outdoor private onsen which is very good for those who enjoy privacy and does not want to go to public bath.

201号室でした レストランの横なので油の匂いが常に匂ってきます（ステーキ食べた後のお風呂は入れないです窓から匂いがきつくてもどしそうになりました） 窓開けれなかったです。 フードが見えていてどこが吐き出し口なのか気になりますね ベランダ半分は隣のレストランの壁にかぶっていて風呂の窓からの景色は隣の建物の壁を見てましたね！ 同階と同じ金額なんでしょうね！ 初めっから分かっていたら予約はしなかったでしょうね！ ウェルカムドリンクも聞いてなかったです。 なので飲んでいません！ 値段と部屋、内容がつり合っていないですね！ 次回は絶対に無いですね‼️

We stayed in the Sakura room, it was absolutely amazing! We arrived before check in and the staff kindly took our bags and held them for a few hours while we explored the surrounding area (it is right next to the hells of Beppu). The room was very clean and spacious with a private indoor and outdoor onsen as well as a beautiful garden with its own cherry blossom tree. The hotel provides you with everything you need for a relaxing onsen experience! Would definitely stay here again.

소라칸(6층)에서 바라보는 벳부의 전경이 인상깊게 남았다. 생각했던거보다 넓은 방에 여닫이 문으로 나눠져있는 다다미방도 좋았다. 실내와 실외에 있는 욕탕은 사용하기에 편했지만, 한가지 아쉬운것은 온천수가 미리 받아져 있다는거…사용할때 직접 받아서 하는 시스템이면 더 좋았을거라 생각한다. 그리고 실외는 많은 나무들로 모기가 좀 많았지만 부슬부슬 내리는 비를 맞으면서 따뜻한 온천물에 앉아서 자연과 어우러지는 기분은 넘 좋았다. 우리는 이틀을 묵어서 각기 다른 조식과 석식을 예약했었고 아주 대 만족, 코스마다 제공되는 양이 적어서 좀 걱정했는데, 풀코스를 다 먹은후 배부른 포만감에 정성이 담긴 직원들의 서비스가 좋았다. 풀코스 마사지도 좋았고, 전체적인 호텔 분위기나 제공되는 서비스로 그리고 주변에 있는 유명 온천을 도보로 구경하기에 호텔 위치도 좋았고, 편하게 쉬고 즐긴 온천 여행이였다.

We were picked up by a large shuttle van and greeted by hotel staff outside the front entrance. Taken inside and given an orientation and given oolong tea to drink. Our bags were taken to our rooms while we were being educated by the night manager. Our dinner was an excellent teppanyaki dinner with yagyu steak. The private onsen bath and our room was totally excellent!! I would love to come back in the future!
