Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff. Only downside was for food and beverage service we had to wait a while to be served. Same staff that checks you in runs the cafe and bar so if they are checking in guests, they cannot serve you until they are done.

The room was fine - mostly clean and comfortable. A few minor things were damaged and broken, but I could live with it for the rate we paid. The bummer was that the pool and jacuzzi were "out of service". If it were just me coming, no big deal. But I had a 7 year old with me and a lot of time to kill. We booked this place specifically because of the pool and jacuzzi. To learn that it had been out of operation all week with no expected repair date was frustrating. It would have been nice to be notified of this prior to the stay so we could have looked for a different Marriott property. Additionally, the front desk staff was less than pleasant. It felt as if our check-in was inconveniencing her as she had to meander from lounging in the lobby back to the front desk when we arrived. She eventually put on a very fake smile and went through the motions well enough, but it was pretty clear that she either didn\'t like her job or was not having her best day. The hotel is fine, but the experience wasn\'t great so its unlikely that I\'d return to this location.

Brittany (at the front desk) was very helpful and pleasant when I arrived. She also suggested places to eat. Room is beautiful and clean. Hot tub and pool was very nice as well. Only thing I didn’t like is the lack of cleaning in the room. I requested a trash pick up and tidy but nobody came the 3 days I was here

The staff were awesome. Some room issues. A piece of base trim was dislodged and the office chair had an arm that was broken. The worst was the pool. It was cloudy and you couldn’t see the bottom. I asked about it and was told there wasn’t maintenance on the property until Tuesday!

The hotel is in a perfect location for the things we were scheduled to do. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area if that is what you are looking for. The room is comfortable and hotel is very clean. Check in was a breeze and the staff is very friendly. The bistro is a disaster though. It is short staffed and the only option for coffee except the small carafe in the room. 20 minute (literally) wait for a cup of coffee isn't exactly convenient in the morning. If the hotel can't staff the bistro they should provide self-serve coffee in the lobby. Just saying.

We checked the in late. Front desk clerk was friendly and quickly checked us in. Room was nice and clean. Don’t like how the tile in the bathroom gets slippery due to the condensation from the shower steam. Someone could slip and hurt themselves.

If it wasn’t for the 2 ladies that ran the coffee stand both mornings I was there, I would have given less stars. My room wasn’t great. There was random hair in the shower, mold under the shower chair, handprints all over the bathroom wall, and stains on the bed cover. BUT when I came down in the morning and mumbled my coffee order, the ladies were friendly, accurate, and fast. Better keep those ladies, they made me docile enough to forgive the room. I wish I remember their names.

Disappointed Stay – Dirty Bathroom I expected much better from a Marriott property. Unfortunately, the bathroom in my room was completely unacceptable — it was dirty, poorly cleaned, and frankly, disgusting. There were pubic hairs all over — in the shower, on the floor, and even around the sink. Dirt and cobwebs were in the corners, making it clear the bathroom hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in some time. This level of cleanliness is far below what I expect from any hotel, let alone a Marriott. I hope management takes steps to ensure better housekeeping standards moving forward.

The room was very spacious which is great for a family! The area is mainly business so very safe & quiet. The hotel is very nice inside. The bathrooms were dirty. The shower isnt propery cleaned and had mildew and pink gunk growing around the shampoo/bodywash/conditioner bottles. The corners in the shower havent been cleaned properly. I assume someone isnt looking at the rooms after they're being cleaned to cerify cleanliness. The beds arent comfortable at all. The pillows are as thin as paper. So I highly recommend bringing your own. The staff were extremely kind.

The staff at this location is superior. They understand customer service. The hotel was clean when we arrived. Like most hotels these days the room was cleaned every other day. It would be nice to have a full restaurant but the one you had was sufficient.

Really nice place. Clean, updated, friendly staff. Nice bathrooms and pillows. Close to where we needed to be. Starbucks and lots of restaurants nearby. We had loud neighbors who kept us up so I guess the walls are thin but that was a bummer. Also could hear a lot of interstate traffic when trying to sleep so make sure the A/C fan is on continuous to help drown out the noise. Beds were like super ultra firm. Didn’t get great sleep but the place was nice overall.

The outside of the property is nice. The lobby is clean and modern. The room was pleasant but the bed and especially the pullout sofa were not comfortable. The USB ports on the desk didn’t work. There is no breakfast included, just a very expensive bistro. I’m not sure we will stay here again.

The room was big and clean. Some at the front desk have an attitude. Many hotels at least have coffee available all day. The day we checked in, we came over to the counter area and the person at the front desk said, "Its closed." My wife asked if there was coffee available and she got "Its closed." A simple, Sorry its closed would have been better than attitude we got.

Savannah provided me with OUTSTANDING customer service last evening. I called her when i wasnt able to switch off the lights located directly iver the bed. She came upstairs to assist and also could not figure it out. She then went to another room and relizef what the issue was. The bed in my room wasnt centered between the night stands so the (poorly) placed light switch was hidden behind the headboard. I appreciated her diligence and cheerful personality. She is the example of great customer service. Also, I met Keith this morning and he also has an infectious spirit. Your staff is awesome!

I like this area and this hotel when I have to travel to the east side of MI for work. I usually use Expedia to book— this last visit I was hassled about the card I used to book and pay when I went to check in. She was rude and short with me, and didn’t listen when I said I’d used the exact same card in the exact same scenario before. Won’t be coming back.

I would not recommend anyone to stay here if you expect good service. Your money will spend well everywhere, but good service is definitely hard to find. There are so many incidents of poor service for me here. I cannot list them all. I will be happy to leave.

Hotel was nice but no hot tea in the rooms - when my husband asked for some at the front desk, they said to go buy the tea at Starbucks - if you are going to have coffee in the rooms you should also provide tea upon request
