We spent 4 pleasant nights in a 2 bedroom apartment at the hotel. The room was fine - clean and comfortable, albeit on the small side - and had everything we needed for the stay. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. The best thing about the hotel is the location - practically on the water, and within easy walking distance of pretty much everything. If you are driving, just be aware that it isn't the easiest to get to and that the available parking is limited - both in terms of spots and the size of the vehicle the garage can accommodate. The hotel sent us a helpful video before our arrival showing how to navigate to the front door, and also directed us to nearby underground parking when our car wouldn't fit in their garage. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and highly recommend.

Fantastic boutique hotel right in the heart of the old town. A little hard to find in the car so the hotel sent a useful video on how to navigate through the narrow streets. Very warm welcome and the room was immaculate and very comfortable. 2 minute walk to the old town for pintxos, or to the seafront and marina or to the start of the climb to the old fort overlooking the bay. Fantastic views!

It’s a nice property and the people were very friendly and helpful. The webpage says parking is available. After booking, I received a message asking what kind of car we have. We were told our car was too big to park there (it’s a full sized, normal car). We had to walk with luggage about 15 minutes from parking to the hotel. There were a lot of people hanging out just outside the hotel, but inside it was quiet. The walls to the bathroom were frosted glass and every sound can be heard from the bed.

Lovely location and rooms. Nice team. Tasty breakfast. Limited facilites (lounge, bar etc). Only (real) drawback is there is a bar right outside the front of the hotel, so quite a bit of noise through afternoon into evening. Though generally all very good natured and light, bubbling Spanish chatter mainly.

Awesome location and modern design. Near all the great tapas, bars and shopping. Beach access and beach view is unbeatable. Room is not big but functional. Staff is friendly and helpful but front desk is unstaffed starting at 11pm. A/C is seasonal so ask when you book.

Hotel was very nice and in an excellent location in the old town. A bit tricky to find but the hotel sent a video to explain directions there (helpful). There was an initial mixup with a car space allocated; the hotel was booked an the basis that they had parking. However, we were told it was full. After some email exchange, they managed to find a spot for us, so worked out OK. Would stay there again.

Great location. Great service. The staff were very helpful. The room was too warm therefore the need to sleep with the window open and couldn't sleep because of parties at bars outside. The room was somehow very dusty. But other than that it is a really great place.

The location of the hotel was awesome. The room was different than the pictures. It was not very clean. The bathroom and the bed had hair all over the place. No facilities. No epsresso machine or kettle. The hotel needs improvement.

Great location with beautiful views of the bay. Walking distance to all things San Sebastián. Beaches, food, mt urguell . Room was small but really well laid out, modern, clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our balcony door and maintenance fixed it quickly. One of the better hotel stays I’ve had anywhere. It’s on a busy corner and it can get loud, but it wasn’t much of an issue for us. It might be for some.

食べ歩きに向かうバルが立ち並ぶ地域へ徒歩ですぐに行ける場所に立地しています。 コンパクトな空間に必要なものを全て配置した、という感じのお部屋でした。 4人部屋を予約しましたが、ダブルベットひとつ、ソファベッド、エキストラ1台だったので、寝る環境はイマイチかもしれません。 良くなかったと思う点は、お部屋に置かれる水が初日しかないこと。今まで宿泊したホテルは毎日人数分のペットボトルが置かれたので、それが普通と思ってましたが、こちらのホテルは初日に2本のみ。（4人宿泊です） また、コーヒーカップやグラスなども2個ずつしかありませんでした。 また、ホテルが崖にへばりつくように建っており、宿泊したらお部屋は窓の外が階段や坂道と面してました。特に洗面脱衣所の窓は、柵など無く観光客が普通に歩く裏路地に面していて、ふざけた人が窓を何度もバンバン叩き付けてくることがあり、不快な上、恐怖でもありました。そしてその窓はすりガラスですがカーテンなど取り付けられていないので夜に中で電気を付けるとシルエットが外に丸見え状態。たくさん人が通るので落ち着かず、何か対策が欲しいと思いました。 良くないこともありますが、ホテルスタッフは親切です。行く前のメールのやり取りも迅速でしたし、行く時にスーツケースが無くなったのでそれらの問い合わせや、帰りのバスの予約など手伝ってもらいました。 また、１階のカフェで食べたクロワッサン、トルティージャも美味しかったです。

It’s the perfect location for exploring San Sebastián. The bed was really comfy. It was a no frills room which we were fine with but being on the ground floor it was dark and noisy in the night. We would stay again though and enjoyed our stay.

Pros: The service was really nice, helpful with any questions, greets you with a glass of wine at check-in while explaining everything, etc. The location is also amazing, right on the edge of Old Town walkable to all the bars and restaurants, but also right on the edge of the bay next to the water. Despite it looking like it might be a loud location with tons of young people drinking outside the bar next door, our place faced the back alley and was super quiet. The 2-bedroom apartment is a great option when traveling with 2 couples, complete with little kitchenette and living space — this was really the biggest reason I picked this spot. Cons: While the 2-bedroom apartment is quiet because it faces it the back streets, that means it also doesn’t have much of a view and one of the bedrooms is super dark. My hair dryer stopped working after 1 minute, the coffee machine leaks, the internet is very spotty, and the beds and pillows are some of the hardest I’ve slept on.

We had three people and rented one of the apartments. It was perfect, with two bedrooms and two baths. We had a view of the bay, where we had a perfect view of the Concha boat race. The hotel is in a great location and the apartment is well equipped.

Best location, stylish and comfortable. Rooms are just really small - so small that the big window only opens 20% and we but a chair above a closet for the second suitcase. And the view is a wall… a nice brick wall, but a wall. Would stay here in a beat on a quick trip with very little luggage - or only book a front room with a view - but just too tight for comfort. Was too full for us to upgrade our room, which I think would have changed the experience a lot.

The location is perfect. Garage parking is limited, and based on a prior review we reserved early, it was very convenient (valet). The room is nice, but basic, no lotion available. The bed was very hard, like sleeping on a table. I would have stayed again, if not for the bed hardness.

SanSebay is a beautiful boutique hotel with a great location between the old city in San Sebastián and the bay. Besides the location it has an amazing staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I can’t thanks enough to one of the staff, Andrea. I dropped my cell phone in the taxi and realized it when I got to the hotel. She is a very smart girl and knew what to do right away. She contacted the 2 main taxis companies in the area and my phone was waiting for me at the police station. I fully recommend this hotel with a 5+ star Joe and María DeCaro

I can’t thanks enough to one of the staff, Andrea. I dropped my cell phone in the taxi and realized it when I got to the hotel. She is a very smart girl and knew what to do right away. She contacted the 2 main taxis companies in the area and my phone was waiting for me at the police station. I fully recommend this hotel with a 5+ star Joe and María DeCaro

Loved the staff, very quiet. Directions if you have a car are very difficult as we’re in the old city and you have to drive on a cobblestone path that says pedestrians only. But there’s an exception for this hotel. Kept feeling like I was going to get in trouble. Íker stayed on the phone with me until I arrived. Couldn’t ask for better service!!

Hotel SANSEbay was one of my top favorite parts of the trip in Donostia-San Sebastian. The location was extremely convenient right between the old town downtown area and Urgull mountain for pleasant hiking. It's also only about 10-min walk to the beach entrance. All the staffs were very friendly and informative! Especially, upon check-in, I got a list of the popular pintxo bars and restaurants including their best selling dishes - which was super helpful! Hotel SANSEbay made an outstanding impression of Donostia and is now another reason for me to revisit the city! Definitely, I will look forward to staying at Hotel SANSEbay again for sure!

Our experience at this hotel was appalling. The rooms were extremely uncomfortable, and the noise levels each night were unbearable. Even with earplugs, it was impossible to get any sleep. When we raised this with the hotel, they refused to switch our room. Eventually, we agreed with management that we would move to a different hotel altogether, on the clear understanding that the three-night stay would be refunded. However, once home, the hotel denied that these conversations ever took place. They even misled Expedia with this claim. We have written confirmation from the new hotel, who confirmed these discussions, as well as receipts for our stay there. The service we received was atrocious—dishonest, dismissive, and entirely unprofessional. The rooms were uninhabitable, and the hotel’s conduct afterwards has been completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise against staying here. To date, the hotel has completely ignored me and only partially responded to Expedia. Unfortunately, we are now having to action S75 card protection to obtain our money back. I would advise anybody not to book this hotel.

Excellent location. Walking distance from many shops, restaurants, and bars. Friendly staff. Clean modern rooms. We were welcomed with a drink of choice and a bottle of wine in our room. Only difficult part was driving up to the hotel on the first day but staff provided help with parking. You don’t need a car in San Sebastián therefore everything after that was very smooth. Loved our stay!

Fantastic boutique hotel right in the heart of the old town. A little hard to find in the car so the hotel sent a useful video on how to navigate through the narrow streets. Very warm welcome and the room was immaculate and very comfortable. 2 minute walk to the old town for pintxos, or to the seafront and marina or to the start of the climb to the old fort overlooking the bay. Fantastic views!

Sehr schöne Lage direkt am Hafen und der Fußgängerzone der Altstadt, gutes Frühstück a la Carte (besonders empfehlenswerter Espresso), funktionales Zimmer, moderne Einrichtung, Personal sehr hilfs- und auskunftsbereit, nachts - insbesondere am Wochenende - durch Besucher naherliegender Clubs und Bars nicht ganz leise (bei offenem Fenster Ohrstöpsel empfehlenswert).

Some of the furniture is a little worn as were the booklets of information about the hotel amenities that were in the room. Breakfast is a little expensive compared to other restaurants. On the positive side the location is excellent near the old town and promenade. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. We were upgraded to a room that faced the bay which we really appreciated.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Amazing location, superb staff, one of the best breakfast selections (and quality) we have had anywhere, loved that it’s a la carte and made to order. Room very comfortable with a great shower and nice amenities. We will be back for sure!

Excellent location overlooking the bay. We were given a room upgrade with a bottle of wine as per Expedia gold status .View from the room was beautiful. Within a few yards of the old town . The room was very well equipped with extremely comfortable beds and was serviced daily to a high standard.. The hotel was clean and modern. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast limited but adequate. An unexpected plus was the excellent sports masseur at a very reasonable cost . Lots of places to eat within yards . Very easy to travel to San Sebastián by bus from Bilbao airport and as our return flight to the U.K. was late at night we were able to spend the day in Bilbao , leaving our luggage in lockers at the bus station .Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is cute and the staff is nice. We were close to every thing, the restaurants and the beach. We had a room on the left side and people walking by could see into our room. That was the only issue that we had. The restaurant was nice to grab coffee in the morning and even a croissant or hot meal. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. The 2 bedroom apartment may family and I had was very modern and well maintained. The location is excellent for access to the beach, shops and restaurant. The breakfast was really good and staff were so polite and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay!
