Dimora della Maddalena

Fabulous Villa set in a remote environment overlooking Monterroso. Our family (8 adults and 4 children enjoyed the expansive setting. It was what we hoped for and more. Ideal for visiting the five towns and/or just enjoying relaxation by the pool. Highly recommend!

A unique and beautiful property that was meticulously renovated and beautifully furnished with antiques and interesting artifacts. Catered dinners can be arranged by a lovely woman who serves wines made from her own vines.The one thing it would have been helpful to know ahead of time is that the villa is high above the village, there are no hiking trails down unless you are a mountain goat, and a car is required to get to town and trains. With 8 people, that meant two trips to get everyone up and down each day we wanted to leave the villa.

The house is amazing. It has a lot of rooms and is incredible well taken care of. Its beautiful and has a million dollar view. Hosts are very helpful. Its a 30 minute hike or 10 minute drive into town.
