very nice hotel but a bit too far from the centre. However the 500 bus stopped outside the hotel. The access to the roof terrace is poorly signposted but pleasant when you get there. Getting food in the bar in the evening was slow as there were no staff at the bar and we had to go to reception to let them know we wanted to order food. Efficient staff, excellent breakfast.

Vriendelijk personeel bij het ontbijt, alles met een glimlach. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid. Parkeren kon veilig in de onderliggende garage voor 13 euro per nacht. Met bus 500 of 403 welke beiden voor de deur van het hotel een halte hebben, ben je in 10 minuten in het centrum van Porto.

A smart room in an interesting hotel. Found two excellent restaurants a short walk away. Parking was full when we arrived so had to park down the sude street. Room not fully replenished for our 2nd night...no milk! Roof bar was nice ..unusual to find it open in November.

Lights in room didn’t work because main card control at door was falling off wall. Maintenance person came and said it works if you wiggle it. Zero water out of the shower. Dripping noise in the ceiling all night.

The best aspect of this property is the staff. They were all extremely generous with their guidance and assistance. On the other hand, I was disappointed with the size of the room, and the absence of any drawer space. Two single ladies sharing this room was quite difficult and required us to leave suitcases open on the floor.

The team at reception were very friendly and professional. Registration was quick and easy. Nothing was too much trouble. Service in the restaurant was excellent and the coffees that were made to take to our room, (we didn’t want breakfast), were great. Check-out was easy and we left our bags for the day with the feeling of everything being safe and secure. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel but our check in took a long time as if something was wrong. When we were assigned a room finally we found an uncleared room, and when we reported it one of the staff tried to tell us we were wrong. I think we were upgraded then to a larger room but overall the two staff members were not the most welcoming.

This hotel has the most amazing staff. They were all very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Joana at the desk, along with Ricardo and Francisco, were very informative and took care of all our needs. They have the best breakfast ever that has everything you could want! And a fun rooftop bar and restaurant where Caroline took good care of us. Thank you for a wonderful couple of days!

We rented two rooms, one for our guest from out of town. His room’s A/C didn’t work so the hotel tried to fix it and when it still didn’t work like it should, they moved him to another room. We appreciated the attentiveness and care. My only sad face would be that the Sky Bar was closed due to potential rain. I just wanted to see the skyline but the front desk staff said they would have to open the bar so it was a no-go. The second floor bar was nice with great friendly service. Rooms were very nice too. Definitely recommend.

Decent price. Quiet. Staff are all kind, patient and helpful. If you are walking expect 30 minutes to Ribeira, 30 minutes to Center at top of hill. It was very soundproof and spacious which was a huge bonus

Excellent quality of the room. Great service. Location is at the river level, which is about 60m below the level of the modern city core. If you are here for business and without a car, prepare for a steep uphill walk, or public transit. It is about 30min walk to the historic areas. Uber was cheap (~4-5 EUR) and convenient between the hotel and the historic area.

Riverside location but some way from the most crowded Ribeira Square area so a good deal quieter, and still excellent views especially from the marvellous Douro Sky Lounge bar on the hotel's roof. Convenient for the fascinating Tram Museum next door, and today's tram goes right past the front of the hotel - the tram is charming but often crowded though and there is no really close Metro station. The rooms in this impressive building - originally a fish market, I was told - are bang up to date and distinctly classy. Very slippery floors in the otherwise delightful bathroom & shower are the only thing that might give me pause for thought at my age. Good for those who can walk some distance, are ok with taking a few taxis, or who are interested in the attractions nearby, which also include the departure point for helicopter tours. I would stay again but might ask if they could provide some mats in the bathroom.

The location is convenient to everything but not really in one of the touristy locations. You’ll walk just a little bit to get to those areas, but it’s sort of in the middle of everything I wanted to do. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is that I ate in the sky lounge and wasn’t able to take my leftovers back to my room.

Porto is an amazing city. This hotel is very conveniently located on the Douro River. It's about a 20 minute walk from the Luis I bridge. It's very comfortable and the staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is really good, I fell in love with their espresso machine. I would definitely stay here again.

Room excellent and clean. The bar stayed open to a good hour, Breakfast convenient although I ditched the cooked breakfast after the second morning as it was luke warm (like most self service breakfasts in hotels) and had the continental alternative. Coffee was good. I would definitely stay there again if I ever visited Porto again.

Nothing wrong, very nice. Breakfast is plenty of foods so that you can satisfied them. I used this hotel for a congress at Alfândega do Porto. The place is located around 10 min-walk from this hotel. Very convenient for me and nice riverside hotel for both site seeing and a kind of works.
