Clean and serviceable hotel in a good location. Renovations taking place around the pool and outside area which was not communicated to us prior to or at arrival. There was very limited use of indoor facilities which needed to be booked and again, we not informed of this at check in. While we appreciate that renovations are necessary it would have been courteous to inform guests who stay during this period.

Really good food for a buffet. One highlight was smoked salmon and asparagus but there were many more. Even the breakfast included crispy bacon and English sausages, along with four types of eggs! (Incidentally, free Cava at 8AM?!) The staff are all excellent at what they do and friendly too. Be aware than much of the clientele are German, but there are Dutch and UK people as well as Spanish. The age group is generally over 70 with entertainment to match, so a chachacha or even a line dance would be much more likely than punching the air or throwing some shapes. Nonetheless, if you’re fine with that, this is a fine choice for a few days near the marina.

Una experiencia maravillosa. Muy buen hotel, muy buenas instalaciones, muy tranquilo, limpio y el personal encantador. Buen detalle de ofrecer una copa de bienvenida mientras realizas el chek-in y actuaciones musicales todas las noches. No es mi caso, pero para familias con niños no lo elegiria xq no tienen actividades de animación y entretenimiento para ellos.

Daily evening entertainment was great especially as we went early Feb. Good choice of food in dining room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room and bed were very comfortable. Only downfall was tea/coffee facilities not replenished fully every day with not enough milk left.

Really lovely hotel. Staff and visitors were all really friendly. I needed an accessible room and it was perfect. Prompt replies to communication. Plenty of sunbeds, and a lifeguard on duty. Breakfast was good. Other guests said evening meals were lovely. Spa was gorgeous. Great location right on the beautiful belamadena marina. We will be returning 🌹

This hotel was perfect for a 4night stay. All areas of the hotel were very clean and well maintained and the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a very good wide selection of food hot and cold and was constantly being replenished and tables tidied. The majority of the people staying in the hotel were couples or families with older children. The location is perfect, right by the Marina which has a good choice of restaurants. We had a partial sea view room which was pleasant. I would recommend asking or paying for a room that faces east so that you can see the sunrise. The beach is a 2min walk and was very clean, the further up towards Torremolinos you go the prettier the beach becomes. The restaurants on the beach served very good seafood. We did walk down past the Marina to Benalmadena promenade but found this not to be as nice as the Torremolinos side that the hotel is on. I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples looking for a quiet relaxing break.

Situated in the middle of the town, in close proximity to both the beach and the marina, provided easy access to the abundance of excellent bars, restaurants, and shops. The room was a good size, clean, and perfectly suitable and the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and considerate.

Third time at the Mac! Definitely the last.Its deteriorated, towels were like bath mats or wripped and frayed. Rooms not cleaned adequately, sheets not changed in 3 days, unopened champagne taken from room! NoToiletries bedroom floors not clean bathroom dirty! This is NOT 4* extortionate prices.Should not be advertised as fabulous or 4*

Superb hotel and in a great location. My room was upgraded to a walk in shower facility which I requested. The standard rooms have a shower over the bath which I consider unsafe and need at least non slip bath mats to prevent accidents. Most guests over 60 at the time of my visit.

A great hotel in a great location. Reception staff were very welcoming. The room was a good size, beds were comfortable and plenty of hanger/storage space. Bathroom could do with updating. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and good quality. I look forward to staying here again.

We did walk down past the Marina to Benalmadena promenade but found this not to be as nice as the Torremolinos side that the hotel is on. I would definitely recommend this hotel for couples looking for a quiet relaxing break.

Daily evening entertainment was great especially as we went early Feb. Good choice of food in dining room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room and bed were very comfortable. Only downfall was tea/coffee facilities not replenished fully every day with not enough milk left.

Nice hotel with excellent staff, hotel food was not good, not much choice and burned eggs every morning(just turn the hot plate down a little and they wont burn) Check in was excellent and fast although the room area we had asked for over 6 months ago we never got(we got given a poor excuse why we never got our request) Noisy bar area at times with large groups was annoying also when trying to chill. Lots of mosquitos and we both got a large number of bites and i noticed the same on lots of others. Overall id give this hotel 7.5/10

Great located hotel just off the Marina in Benalmedana but with the benefit of a sea view. We loved the upper sun bathing area with a view over the promenade. Staying on a B&B basis (there are fare too many nice restaurants around the harbour ) we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts in the courtyard, and with such helpful and friendly staff, big thanks to Omar who was particularly helpful. Would definitely recommend, and would return. In fact we were so impressed with the Town it is on our return list for a short break in the future!

This hotel was perfect for a 4night stay. All areas of the hotel were very clean and well maintained and the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast had a very good wide selection of food hot and cold and was constantly being replenished and tables tidied. The majority of the people staying in the hotel were couples or families with older children. The location is perfect, right by the Marina which has a good choice of restaurants. We had a partial sea view room which was pleasant. I would recommend asking or paying for a room that faces east so that you can see the sunrise. Situated in the middle of the town, in close proximity to both the beach and the marina, provided easy access to the abundance of excellent bars, restaurants, and shops. The room was a good size, clean, and perfectly suitable and the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and considerate.

(Incidentally, free Cava at 8AM?!) The staff are all excellent at what they do and friendly too. Be aware than much of the clientele are German, but there are Dutch and UK people as well as Spanish. The age group is generally over 70 with entertainment to match, so a chachacha or even a line dance would be much more likely than punching the air or throwing some shapes. Nonetheless, if you’re fine with that, this is a fine choice for a few days near the marina.

The positives: the cleaning staff really do a spectacular job and work hard - there is not a spot of stain at the hotel and our room was always immaculately clean, so big thanks to that. Pool was also clean. Staff is really friendly and doing their best effort. Location is convenient to explore Benalmadena. Generally the room was nice and comfy. Suggested development items: The restaurant did have many options, but to me it felt a bit "quantity over quality" approach. Food is quite heavy and unfortunately I did not feel the half-board was worth the money and mostly ate elsewhere. Not too many vegetarian options besides some salad. Gym was small and you need to reserve a time to go there. Barbell weights end at 14kg, so you can only do bit of warmup. Would have appreciated maybe bit more weights or some more flexibility to the system since that limited our schedule a bit, only 1 person or room can go at a time which I understand since it's very small. We had our room at 1st floor, and sometimes could hear other guests from the corridor. Even though pool was nice, people do reserve their spots with the towels, which I don't appreciate, so unless you are early or come near closing, no spot for you at the pool. Overall this is a good more affordable hotel so my rating is mostly lowered due to the restaurant not meeting the expectation this time around. Could visit again, but this time without the half-board.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The staff were amazing and I think they are the star of this hotel. The food was a bit of a let down. It could be better. It hasn't changed for a while now since before COVID. It's kind of bland.

Great location for the restaurants and bars close to the marina at Benalmadena. Just returned home from our second visit to this hotel.
