Hotel Cayman Suites

This hotel is very hard to find even with the obscure street signs. The entrance was very sketchy. Although the hotel was clean, the amenities were very outdated and worn out such as cracked tiles, leaky faucets, and rust around the shower area. The pool area closes really early around 9:50pm, they were already telling us we had to leave because they wanted to bleach the pool. That definitely could’ve been done around midnight without any problem not 9:50pm when we were enjoying the evening with family. Even though we brought our own snacks, water and treats, they told us three times that we were not allowed to eat around the pool area, which I found very weird. I most likely will not come back to this hotel unless it’s my only option.

Nice Room w/ Beautiful Views as we chose to upgrade to a mini suite w/ balcony. Our room was spacious, spotless, & blessed with fantastic air conditioning—a lifesaver in the tropical heat. Waking up to a breathtaking ocean view, crashing waves and black sand beaches was pure magic. The beaches themselves were spectacular, dramatic and unlike anywhere else. Top-Notch Service/ amenities • Housekeeping was impeccable; our room was refreshed daily with thoughtful touches, which included a mini coffee pot w/ coffee packet, bottled water, a COLD refrigerator, and a microwave. • The pool and swim-up bar were fantastic—relaxed, fun, and perfectly maintained. • Plenty of parking made coming and going stress-free. Every detail was handled with care. This property while not a lot todo but RELAX & Chill, than you found the right place. We’re planning our return. Thank you to Roberto and the entire team for making our trip truly special! Highly recommend—book it!

Excellent service, pools were great and clean

Very clean facility, great staff. Swim up bar was awesome. Coco loco drink is amazing. Food is ok and a little expensive. Beach is not that great for swimming but it’s beautiful.

Right on the ocean. Private beach. Clean. Safe. Great food. Good prices. All staff very attentive and accommodating. Would definitely return.

El hotel cayman esta frente al mar. El hotel esta viejo pero muy bien mantenido. El dormitorio estaba muy amplio y comodo. La picina estaba limpia y con vista al mar. No recomiendo meterse al mar ya que es muy peligroso. El menu de la comida tiene mucha variedad y es muy rica. Gracias a roberto por su tremenda atencion en el restaurante, los cocos y la bebidas. Volveremos !

It was lovely to be right on the beach and enjoy the wonderful pool. Unfortunately, they played music all the time and mostly too louf which really spoiled the tranquility. However, they did turn it down when we asked them too and there were actually a few times when the music wasn{t on.

Great hotel, needs a little extra maintenance and or cleaning but overall great. The pool area is awesome.

Das Familienhotel liegt ideal direkt Am Strand, auch das Restaurant ist direkt am leeren Sand-Strand mit schöner Aussicht auf die Wellen. Die Angestellten sind sehr nett und freundlich- Jose ist der Beste . Unser großes Zimmer hatte einen tollen Blick durch die Palmen aufs Meer. Man kann hier sowohl tolle Sonnenaufgänge wie auch Untergänge sehen. Die Cocktails sind ok, besonders gut ist Coco-Loco. Baden ist aufgrund der Strömung nur eingeschränkt möglich- aber es gibt einen großen Pool ( ja, wie schon andere bemerkten sind dort an einigen Stellen scharfe Kannten. Scheint eher für tobende Kinder ein Problem). Das einzige Problem sind hier die vielen kreischenden Kinder, die noch bis spät abends um 21:00 im Hauptpool rumbrüllen, das sollte reguliert werden, ist einfach zu viel, da der Pool auch direkt neben dem Restaurant und den Zimmern ist. Gerade am Wochenende sind sehr viele Familien hier. In der Umgebung gibt es nicht viel - der Wäscheservice war teuer und nicht sauber. Insgesamt ein schönes Strandhotel/ wir würden wiederkommen!

Hotel was very quiet maybe family oriented, even the music was at a very reasonable level so it wouldn't bother. Pool was clean and well maintained, chairs and towels available, private beach with a couple of tables so you can enjoy the service. Food was excellent, maybe on the $$$ side but very good. Service was great from everyone in the hotel. Will gladly be back.

Necesita más personal, limpieza les falta en area de piscinas, sillas y baños de piscina, variar el menú, limpiaban las habitaciones hasta las 3 pm por falta de personal. Gente amable y lugar seguro con parqueo propio.

Nuestra visita fue en familia, excelente servicio y atención, rica comida y lo que nos gusto es poder disfrutar las piscinas, ya que nos permitieron ingresar desde las 10:30am. Tomamos habitación con cocina y tenía los utensilios necesarios, muy espaciosa. Excelente servicio en general

La habitación bastante bien , el internet si es regular podría mejorar algunas cosas dentro de la habitación no funcionan bien la refrigeradora bota agua

Just an average hotel for the high price. We had no water pressure in our room to take showers. The hotel was okay, but I wouldn't stay again at the same cost. I would look elsewhere.

The property and room was decent. The food and drinks were good. The air conditioning worked great but we did not have control of it and in the night it got very cold. Getting there was a challenge due to minimal street signs and the entrance is on a dirt road. At night there is very few street lights.

First of all they charged me an extra $50.00 for the room when I registered even though I had paid the total amount. I agreed to do so since I was far away from the city and had no choice. They made me wait for my room until 5:00 P.M. for the room keys. I had stayed before with no problem, great service but this time they failed to do so. This will be the last time I make reservations with them. Thanks.

Wonderful relaxing location. A piece of paradise here in Guatemala. Beautiful place to visit and enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean. Black sand beaches and fresh air. Service was extraordinary. Professional and friendly staff.Outstanding service from reservation team to check in(Rosie) who was so pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable and accommodating to baggage handling to the staff working at the restaurant and pool area, with great the most efficient service and quality was superb.Food was phenomenal, freshly prepared , great selection and served as you requested. The pools were amazing ,super clean ,and easy access to their private beach. We stayed at the suite by the pool and it was the perfect spot, roomy, clean, comfortable and had our own kitchen. I recommend you book a massage to make this experience unforgettable. This was a gem here in Guatemala. Can’t wait to come back again soon. Want to recognize everyone working here, especially Manuel (restaurant/pool)and Rosie for making us feel so special and welcomed. People in the restaurant and maintenance were very pleasant and helpful, but the front desk very dry didn’t offered to help with the bags, didn’t explain the amenities of the place. We had to carry our bags to the second floor with no elevators, we had to figured it out by ourselves.

I needed a good last minute place in the area to stay with my family and found this gem on Expedia. Once I arrived I was surprised at how great everything was. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was happy. I booked one night and following morning we decided to stay a second night and continue enjoying the pool and beachside perks. Staff was beyong helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant staff were amazing aswell. Next time I come to Guatemala I will stop by here again.

This is one of the best experiences I've ever had. Staff were great and the hospitality was the best. Everyone were happy offering the best service. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Special thanks to Otto and Eddie and the cheif you guys made my trip the best.

Property entrance was feeling unsafe, road and houses around

Beautiful hotel. A little hard to get to (down a one-lane dirt road) but that's outside of their control. Lots of mosquitos, but once they walked around fumigating the pool area that problem went away-- they could probably do that more often. Other than that, a very nice place on a beautiful beach-- the south-facing property means you can walk out on the sand and see the both the sunrise and the sunset.

They used to have mini fridge in the rooms but took them out. The picture online still has them so we planned based on that. Also, the food is really expensive and not that great. No one really enjoyed the food that much. It is still half an hour from the center of Monterico so it’s a long drive if you want to go there or find other places to eat.

Excellent bar pool and food delicious Staff are very kind

O hotel tem boa estrutura, com duas piscinas e bar aquático. Os preços são caros. A recepção não é das melhores, pois inflexíveis quanto ao check in antecipado. Cheguei após o meio dia e tivemos que esperar. As areias são negras e quentes e oferecem um belo alvorecer…e só !

Todo muy bien en general de las instalaciones. Pero en restaurante es exagerado el precio de cualquier cosa tiene 4 veces en precio de cualquier lugar en la ciudad. La comida sale demasiado cara y uno tiene que salir a buscar afuera la comida.

Toller Pool, schöner Strand, Zimmer sauber und groß, Frühstück hatten wir gebucht, durften aber nicht aus allem wählen, bis wir das reklamierten, weil wir was wollten,das sogar günstiger war. Wurde dann zu unserer Zufriedenheit gelöst. Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
