It is 1.4km to Orchard rd and has a free shuttle service there which is great. The downfall of staying here is there is no airport shuttle service and is a bit far from the touristic sites such as the Marina...Gardens by the bay ...arab street etc... But overall a nice new hotel

The fact that it had a shuttle to Orchard Road 5 minutes away and was near to the Botanical gardens and a metro station made for a happy stay. The room was excellent and restaurants and bars good too

There is nice gym and pool on the 2nd floor. We have utilised the pool late afternoon and wasn't too busy at the time. The hotel is centrally located and close to a bus stop, which took 15min into Orchard Road. Steven Station is not too far, 8-10min walk.

I had a fantastic stay at Novotel Singapore on Stevens! The hotel offers excellent service, a great location, and comfortable rooms. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with all the amenities I needed. I was disappointed in this property. Every hotel I go to soon as you arrive you receive help with your luggage and the bellboy takes it in the hotel for you. Soon as I arrived there was no staff to be seen, I was carrying my child who was asleep and had to leave all my luggage outside and go in the hotel reception looking for staff to help bring my bags in. When checking in I was told if I register with Accor I can get free upgrades which was a lie as I got the room I booked and there was no 'upgrade'. My room was not clean everyday, just towels were changed and not all the old towels were collected. The water from the bidaai in toilet was leaking out soomuch water as well. I booked half board and the main reason for this was because I have a child and this makes it easier. When I went to the hotel restaurant for dinner I was told half board is a la carte and not buffet. I was disappointed as there was no mention of this when booking and it should have been stated as children are picky and I thought it was buffet so I can choose from many options for my child. I chose an option on a la carte for my child which she did not end up eating, had it been buffet like I had initially thought it would be, I would have tried other things to feed her. I also had no new shower cap replaced. My experience in this hotel was lower than expected and would not recommend for future bookings.

i would definitely stay here again. Great hotel. I walked the area and found a couple of fantastic malls, about a 15 min walk away. Lots of food and stores. Plus the metro is below the mall too. Staff was extremely friendly and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast buffet was wonderful.

The rooms are clean, the facilities are great and the staff are nice. The surroundings of the hotel are very nice as well, which is good for a walk and makes you able to enjoy the greens in such a compact city. Just a little bit distance from the shopping area, however several restaurants and a convenience store next to the hotel, and you wont find it a problem to find food nearby.

Rooms were terribly humid. I changed my room 2 times and both of them very very humud. Bed linens were almost wet due to humidness in the room. AC was barely working and I checked out earlier. Staff were not serius about the issue.

This was is a winner! Not usually a big fan of big brand names but this one fits the bill. Need some improvements on the front desk. Hit or miss on front desk staff but try to pick the ones who look like they have been doing it for a while versus the newbies who clearly are clueless on what they are doing. Other departments have wonderful staffing. Will stay again here. Rooms were fabulous!!

Our bathroom and carpet were definitely a bit worn down, but everything else ESPECIALLY THE STAFF was excellent!!! America has much to learn from this place. 10/10 would stay again and reccomend to anyone going to Singapore.

The stay was disappointing in many ways. Upon arrival, no one knew anything about my reservation/booking. At the bar, the bartender didn't know what a Prosecco was; a bar staff member refused to clean the table, claiming her shift hadn’t started yet, and told me to clean it myself. When I wanted to print a sheet of paper, no one in the business club was willing to help, nor was anyone at the reception. I had to go to the neighboring Mercure Hotel, where the concierge kindly did it for me. My room was not cleaned three times, even though I repeatedly pointed this out. And sometimes the cleaning happened only in the afternoon. The hairdryer was missing. Regular coffee as well sometimes. Additionally, at the bar, drinks cannot be charged to the room; they must be paid immediately, even for hotel guests. The staff overall is unhelpful and seemingly poorly trained, certainly not service-oriented. The entire lobby is cluttered with unattractive, dark metal statues that are supposedly art but create a very unpleasant atmosphere. I regret all this deeply, as I had booked a total of 17 nights at this hotel.

The real difference between this property and any other in Singapore is the staff. They are sensational! From the bell boys at the front right up to the staff in the lounge we were always greeted with a warm welcome and they went out of their way every time to make us feel special. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Singapore. A special mention for professionalism and their willingness to always help goes to Glenn, Sabrina, Anand and Zoe in the lounge and Suren and Dinesh for their great work at front of house. I have already booked my next stay here. Novotel, you have recruited excellently!

Manager Shazriena made my check in & check out experience a great one(She's amazing) although other staff members did not seem adequately trained or motivated to assist me and my husband when we were asking updates regarding our unpleasant situation that occured in our hotel room on our first night.

Property was very clean and room was well thought out. It was a nice hotel with nice features. The place itself was very a bit distanced from main district, at least 20 mins from everything, but they did have a limited shuttle service and ride shares are very easy to get. The staff were good.

The hotel itself is great but interconnection to Mercure is confusing. With the weather walking to closest mrt station 16 mins can be a drag and the hotel shuttle bus is at an interval of 45 mins. That I would say is the only downside to the hotel.

Good place to stay if you are on a budget, this place is quite modern, in a walking distance to an Orchard street where are a lots of shops and restaurants are, not too far from the airport, about 25 minutes by car.
