Motel 6-Medford, OR

My feet were black from walking on the floor. The ice machine was broken. The pool was closed. The only clean room at 1 was a smoking room.

It would be nice if the ice machine actually worked longer than 24hrs. I awake every time I go down to get ice it's always broken or doesn't work. It's getting annoying never being able to get ice that's provided to the guests.

Check in staff was strange, manager was nice, cleaning lady was nice, beds were comfortable. Pool never opened. No coffee in room. Very limited toiletries in room. Very very noisy. Police were patrolling area looking for someone. Very affordable.

What hotel/motel today doesnt have a microwave to use or even a mini fridge in room. Basic tiny room, tv was crooked and angled away from the beds. Pool had moss growing around it at water line. Staff was ok though

I would stay here again. The maids could of gave us supplies when they were needed. But this was a good place to stay. The ice machine was broke and it looked like it hasn't worked for awhile. Still a good place to stay.

The parking was right outside our door making it easy for our dogs to get in and out! Nice places to walk to - the creek, the park.

Near the freeway. Just a basic room to sleep for a night and a morning hot shower. Bring your shampoo if you need it :) They have vending machines near the office for snacks and some basic amenities.

Loved the pool, after a day of driving it felt good to move and talk to others in the pool

Check in was fast and easy, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was extremely cold and super small. The ac was on full blast and could not be turned off and the heat was turned off, the constant blowing fan sounded like an airplane in the room. The room was so small you could barely walk without bumping furniture, there were only 2 of us and it was not enough space. Needs are old masks noise and have springs poking you all night. The pool is closed and the pad lock has clearly been there a long time. Also our toilet did not flush and this was not discovered until after my son dumped a grump... the sea felt safe to walk dogs at night but i will not recommend the rooms here.

All was fine. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean. Pool was nice and clean.

Thankfully my time in the room was limited. I came down for a memorial and ashes scattering of a past family member. Upon arrival around 3:15p my room was not yet ready. I got told about 20 min. So I took my dog across the street to the local dog park (one of the plus sides of this motel). We walked around the entire Bear Creek Park and returned at almost 4p where my room still wasn't done. Again I was told about 5 min. Waited and was finally given a key but was told not to enter the room until the housekeeper moved her cart from in front of my room. When I was finally able to enter my room I didn't have a lot of time to inspect it. After i returned later that evening, I had purchased a few things that needed refrigerated. When I opened the fridge there was hair in the bottom of the fridge and still an old bottle of ice tea in it, plus the freezer was so iced up the door didn't close all the way and it started to defrost causing a huge puddle right at the entrance walkway. I called the front desk to report it and someone came down immediately to clean it up. I had hoped that was going to be the worst that happened with this room but it wasn't. The next 2 morning i woke uo to cockroaches in the bathroom. I had brought to the front desks attention but no other room was available. Not an apology nothing from the staff, just brushed it off as if it was a normal thing.

Filthy, dirty, smelly. Every light switch and door was disgusting. The room smelled terribly. We immediately left went to the store to purchase disinfectant and wipes. The A/C filter filthy. No blankets on the beds. Above is the reasons the hotel booking is non refundable. If we weren't so tired we would have demanded a refund and left.

Not clean. After a short while are feet were black walking barefoot on the floor. Inside door needed a good wipe down. Lining on drapes had spots of black mold. Walls needed to be wiped down also. Fan in bathroom had thick layer of dust wrapped all around it.

I stayed for 2 nights. In room 226. It was night when I checked in. I slept and when I woke up in the morning I didn't notice anything. I went out to do my business but hours later I started itching. Since it itched so much I left my business unfinished and went back to the hotel. When I undressed in the bathroom to take a shower I was incredibly terrified. My waist area was covered in dozens of bites and bright red. The bedbug infestation was so bad and it had bitten me that I was terrified. I was very scared. I went to the hotel clerk and explained the situation but he didn't react at all. Since my English was weak I showed him my waist. He said he would come to the room and check. He said there was nothing here as if he was making fun of me. When he saw a few bedbugs under the bed he had to give me another room and didn't apologize at all. There was no embarrassment or even respect. I definitely don't recommend it. I've been itching for 3 days. I can't sleep at night.

The room looked generally clean. However, we discovered cockroaches in the room the following morning. The bed was also not very comfortable as you could feel the springs in the mattress.

The bathroom floor was dirty and had women’s hair pins on the floor. Looks like it was never cleaned. the bathroom door had a hole in it on each side from somebody punching it. The TV remote didn’t work. There appeared to be blood splatter on walls and the room needs to be painted and updated They should offer me a refund.

The level of filth in our room was shocking. Sticky floors. Chunks of things on the walls, baked on food in microwave and I don't want to know what that is on the headboard. The pictures dont do the level of gross justice.

This was one of those “you get what you pay for” instances. It was cheap. The floors probably have never been mopped. My baby’s feet were black within an hour of walking around in the room. The beds were horrible and the room smelled like urine. Lesson learned.

Room was dirty, stunk like someone had smoked an entire pack of cigarettes then shut the door, beds were uncomfortable, no working phone, no soap for washing machines, no vender items to purchase for soap or dryer softeners. Management unwilling to provide a more accommodating. Basically a nasty motel. Shame on you! room.

It was advertised as a nonsmoking room and smelled like cigarettes. The curtains were not flush with the wall so they did not keep out the outside lights.

The room was very dated. The toilet ran all night. Th bed was like sleeping on box springs.

It was 38° at night, and the heater did not work in the room so they had to give me a small portable heater to stay somewhat warm. Incredibly unacceptable!!!!!

The water quality is very good. The check-in staff is good. I am a little disappointed they have no microwave and fridge in the room. And the internet is not working good.

Clean and comfortable room. MSNBC channel on TV was broken. Wifi signal was very weak in room 135, and in the morning was not working for quite a while (seemed to be connected but no progress).

Very disappointing actually. My room had a door connecting to the adjacent room-the people in the next room were very annoying-the woman had a very loud voice and had a deep barking cough,her husband had a very loud voice as well-it sounded like they were in my room. The people above us were very noisy-sounded at times like they were dragging the furniture around, and footsteps that sounded like an elephant walking above me. I asked to be moved to another room but was told that I had been in the room for more than an hour and used the shower,so no move possible. The clerk went and talked to the people next door to quiet down but nothing changed. It really was a bad experience. Only positive was plenty of hot water for the shower.

We chose to stay here for a month while looking for a house to buy since most Airbnbs are double the price. Though the rooms are basic, they are clean and beds are quite comfortable. Benny was very helpful with any information or if we had a problem he was always quick to resolve it. Really all the staff are very friendly, we had a great stay.

The worst experience ever! We decide to stay over, and get way better deals online. So my wife and I go to the front desk and let them know we are staying over. And told them we had to go put money on our card to pay for the room online. So we did that and made a new reservation and tried calling the motel like 5 times to make sure everything was ok. Then on our way back i received a call from my friend saying the motel called the cops and mafe him leave. So we rushed back and just before getting there motel 6 finally answered the phone just to tell us we where no longer welcome to stay there and must leave. So we went to the office to figure everything out and apparently they had already packed up p our room into trash bags and proceeded to start setting them over the count we r while telling us we where no linger welcome.

This Motel 6 has the worst customer service I’ve encountered in a long while. Rude, confrontational, and downright hostile best describes my experience at this dirt bag motel. My room was filthy.

We have stayed in Motel 6s across the country with how pet friendly and have had no issues. That said, this one the only Motel 6 experience that has made us rethink staying there in the future. This property didn’t have our room ready until 8pm, 5 hours after check-in time. They didn’t notify us with email/call/text like other places have in the past if the room time was going to be delayed. There was a lot of glass in the dog friendly sections. There is a dog park within walking distance, but the sidewalk/bridge to get there is a gathering/sleeping spot for those without housing. Having worked several hotel desk jobs before, it has been policy to NOT give out room numbers of guests to delivery services (or anyone for that matter). To my surprise, I opened my door to a delivery person despite excluding my room number and asking it to be dropped off in the lobby. I asked the front staff why they confirmed my name and room to someone that wasn’t listed as a guest and they said “whoops.”

As soon as we arrived a guy in front told us “far from home huh” and started laughing. He then hung around our car for a bit and followed us to our room and stayed by our car. We are two women btw. As soon as we entered the room we noticed how dirty it was and there was a bug infestation in the restroom! We went downstairs to cancel and the guy up front seemed super nice and said he would approve our refund with Expedia. We left, Expedia then called and told us he didn’t approve the refund. He straight up lied to our face!

Came in from riding two hours in the rain on my trike. Was drowned. Brian, the night clerk not only checked me in and helped me unload into room, but called room after offered to run my wet outer garments thru the dryer. This is way above and beyond. In an hour, my clothes came back dry. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a restful time here. Two nights while visiting friends in the area. Room was clean. One light bulb was out when I arrived but the staff fixed it promptly. Not the hotel's fault, but the area around it was a bit unsettling. Each day saw some police activity nearby. But I personally had no issues nor felt afraid. SPECIAL THANKS to clerk at front desk when I arrived: Benny! What a fantastic, caring, good looking host! I would go back again just to see Benny!

The staff I interacted with were not welcoming, not friendly. First, the keycard didn't work and had to be re-keyed. The bathroom light didn't work so there was no light in the bathroom. I don't understand why housekeeping had not notified the front desk of this, nor Maintenance. Apparently there were no maintenance staff on duty nor anyone else who could repair the light (presumably replacing light bulbs would have been sufficient). The manager was not in and the desk clerk told me the place was full so I could not be moved to another room. She said she would leave a note for the manager who she believed would give me a discount. (She mentioned half off.) The desk clerk in the morning (who I believe was the manger - also not friendly) was fairly dismissive of the issue, said no note had been left and in a curt, rather rude tone, said she could offer a refund of $10. Her manner was very 'take it or leave it' so I took it and left. Overall this was a very unpleasant experience. I will not be staying at any Motel 6 ever again and I would certainly not recommend it. I understand the chain is basic and economical - I was not expecting high-end facilities and accommodations - but I believe all customers are entitled to warm and polite interactions with staff and fully functioning basic amenities.

There is a dairy queen inthe same parking lot. The rooms are clean. There is a park, walking distance. Check in is always fast and easy. I wouldn't feel super safe walking alone at night here, but its a great price and room that's close to work.

This is probably the nicest Motel 6 I have ever stayed at. The staff were nice and available but at times they were too busy to provide things like towels and toilet paper, but we were able to get them after exchanging our dirty towels. The location is great, next to a river and lots of greenery to enjoy. There is a lot of riff raff parading the parking lot and the walk ways but they mostly keep to themselves, one the exception challenging me to a car race..lol. All in all, it was a good experience and I would definietly come back.

Reception was very nice and offered us a room close to the office. We are concerned with people near the hotel that appears not to belong in the neighborhood.

There were some very short pet hairs stuck to the bedspread, but no big deal to me. Otherwise, very clean. I had a room on the ground floor facing the pool, and I felt safe. My vehicle seemed pretty safe from a break in. Coffee is provided in the lobby, and was surprisingly good.
