Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Medford by IHG

Very hot in this area; for instance it was 101° when I stayed in September of 2024. Little to no pet areas and the hotel front desk staff was awesome. I believe the recently promoted sales supervisor was the best employee I met.

Breakfast was typical continental. Room was clean, lots of parking, staff were not that friendly.

First off, I never write in complaints. Our room unfortunately smelled like throw up. The advertised heated pool was freezing. Paid extra for a hotel with an indoor heated pool for our grandkids. Too cold to get in. Room said it slept 7, barely slept 5. Breakfast was good and employees very nice and friendly.

Clean and quiet. Very disappointed the pool was broken.

It was good. I would recommend a clock in the pool area just to be aware of the time. Also, the elevators were so slow! They definitely could be upgraded.

We were able to stay here with our pet and really appreciated that but there was absolutely nowhere to take her outside that wasn't full of sticker weeds and cheat grass.

Stayed on the 3rd floor, hallway carpet to the room was very dirty and stained. The room itself was clean, but had a very weird odor in the room. Chair and furniture looked stained and uncleaned. Bed was confortable and had a keurig, mini frig, and microwave. Bathroom was decent. It was average or below. Not a 9.0 rating though and for the price it was a little exp expensive for the conditions.

Beautiful renovated room and comfortable beds. Really nice pool and gym. Great breakfast too. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through Medford Oregon

We stayed 3 days and second elevator was broken for 2 of the days. They were not had 2 elevators so had to wait to get room.

The elevator had a weird, unpleasant smell.

Everything was fresh and clean.

Everything was fine till we got to the room. The beds were dirty look like someone had their period along with hair particles on the bed.

The facility was impeccably clean, the room was very comfortable and the breakfast was just right. The staff great.

We were “upgraded” to a king suite from 2 queens…let’s be clear - a pull out bed in place of a normal bed is NEVER an upgrade. Unfortunately we were told there was no other option, we then did not even have bedding and weren’t offered any pillows for those that had to sleep on it. Then the floors were gross, lots of food in corners walls had smears all over them and the shower floor was mostly black. Disappointed in the upgrade and general lack of concern with it. Cleanliness disappointing also.

We checked in super late around midnight after a very long trip. The room smelled awful, but my daughter and husband were so tired they just fell asleep. The next morning woke up to what smelt like dog diarrhea in our room. Went down to the desk and said my room has an awful smell, the guy knew right away what room it was. They knowingly put us in a room that smelt like that. I asked if we could move to a clean room so they could clean that one. They told us they didn't have one. Which was a lie, I was standing there when someone asked if they could stay in the room they were in and not move that morning into the room they were told was ready for them. They offered to clean it and run the Ozone machine again, but that was all they could do. We would have left but it was the last time my daughter and her team will ever play together and they have been together for 5 years and the rest of the team was there. To add to the horrific smell, the bathroom was dirty. I have pictures of the floor where there was mud foot prints, I wiped up and no toilet paper. I love the Holiday Inn and we stay at them a lot all year around. This was awful, inconsiderate and unacceptable. They offered zero compensation, just a verbal apology and acknowledged they knew it smelt.

This is a very modern, very clean hotel on a quiet street. The breakfast was exceptional. Something for everyone with some innovations. Staff was very helpful. Would not hesitate to stay here again

Easy access to I-5. Spacious room with a comfortable bed. Staff we encountered were friendly. The one downside to the whole experience was what appeared to be a pair a boxer briefs left behind the bathroom door. Didn't want to pick it up to confirm exactly what it was.

Room smelled like smoke , sheets looked wrinkled like they weren’t changed .. vents were filthy and furry and the AC was not working

We have stayed in this hotel other times and were very happy. This time, there was a real decline in the cleanliness of the room. Very little attention to detail and just the feeling that the floors and carpets were not clean.

The site was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. The one complaint was the noise from the hall. You couldn't hear a peep from other rooms, but if people were talking in the hall or coming and going, you could hear their conversations as if they were in the room with you.

Possibly the worst water pressure of any hotel I have ever stayed at, but otherwise perfect

Greats stay! The rooms were modern and updated! Great design for the rooms! The continental breakfast was good! And it had an automatic pancake maker!! Front desk and housekeeping were very friendly and helpful! Will definitely book here again!!

The check in was fast and friendly. The person who checked us in is from Sacramento. Had a nice chat. The room was huge with two beds, microwave, fridge. The room is clean with plenty of lighting. The downside was that the water pressure was low in the shower and sink. It took a long time to wash my hair. Breakfast was good. I wish it was hotter. The oatmeal was Luke warm and the sausage was cold. Pancake was good.

Our room was great. Bed was very comfortable. Room was perfectly clean. Quiet. All around excellent!

Conveniently located next to I-5 and shopping (Walmart and Fred Meyer). I typically enjoy staying at Holiday Inn Express, but my stay at this location was not very pleasant. Neighbors next door and above were loud and making noise well into the night. And you hear everything on the other side of the walls. It was a rough night for sleep. I wouldn't stay at this location again.

Clean hotel, nice staff. Great breakfast. Could have stocked the bathroom with more than towels for 2 people when room sleeps 4. Water pressure and shower head not great.

We stayed several days longer than we had expected and dealt with some employees who were very rude. Not all of the employees were this way just a couple. I will not name names I do not feel that it is necessary. We all have bad days.

Holiday Inn refused to honor the reservation. The clerk said that their system received the booking information, but that the rooms were later filled. I had driven 5.5 hours to get there. The person in front of me was also refused a room after having paid for and reserved a room.

The property is well maintain and clean.We checked in super late and the nigth staff that checked us in very helpful and friendly. Just the staff in the morning when we checked out was not friendly at all.Need to be trained of customer service

The staff are the best asset of this property. We have stayed here 4 times in the last year.

The front desk staff was kind and greeted us with a smile. They made sure that we knew to contact ANYONE 24/7 and they would go out of there way to assist us. My recommendation: If you are looking for a place to stay in the Medford, OR area, stop looking and book this property. You wont regret it!!

Check in person was great! Same as last year.

It took me 2 hours to check-in!! An absolute nightmare. I had a reservation but waited 30 minutes before I was able to check-in the first time. Then I went to my room and found someone already in the room! So embarrassing. I went back and waiter another 1.5 hours before they could give me another room. The desk clerks were very apologetic and said that I would be compensated for the inconvenience. Well, nothing happened. I called the hotel manager the next day who offered compensation but, again, nothing happened. It is a nice place but I would not recommend staying that because of the awful service of staff and management.

The area had lots of parking, felt safe while still being convenient.

There are vagrants in the area casing cars. Mine was vandalized.

Central location on the south side of Medford. Across the street from Walmart, 2 blocks from Fred Meyer. Many dining options within a few blocks. The love to stay at Holiday Inn Express because I know the beds are very comfortable. That is the most important thing to me.

The property looks fairly new and well kept. The front desk was very nice.. I arrived about an hour early and the young lady checked me right in! The room was clean. The bed slept well and the AC worked well. The area was quiet. Plus plenty of shops and restuarants within a mile, and Walmart is right up the street, very convenient. Overall no complaints and I would have no reservations about staying here again.

Nice location. Staff was friendly, helpful on letting me know what was within walking distance of the hotel to grab a bite to eat. Room was a nice size, clean and both towels and sheets were clean as well. Breakfast is always a plus at Holiday Inn, the cinnamon rolls are the best.

Except for the room-temperature eggs and sausage, this is a great place and I will be back.

The breakfast buffet was disappointing. We got there about 8:15 am and there was no eggs or potatoes. And no butter.

Beautiful property, terrific breakfast, decent fitness center, and terrific staff. The internet was surprisingly fast as well!

The property and staff very nice! Our only issue was the breakfast. They were out of several things, plates! Coffee Creamer, etc. The kitchen crew were unapologetic.

Room was great Breakfast was horrible We come to this hotel once or twice a year For 4 years and even during Covid it wasn’t this bad
