The staff were great. The pool was a crashing disappointment as only 10 or so beds and very small area. Was a shame as most people fancy a couple of hours to chill out after a long day and there just wasn’t room. They took very insta type photos of the pool area which is quite misleading. No bar up there either but you can WhatsApp and they send it up.

Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was very spacious and view from the balcony was fantastic. Pool on the roof whilst great can do with some TLC. Great choice of restaurants within walking distance. Ferry for trips to Gozo and Comino located just outside the hotel.

Good Hotel in a good location. Very stylish , recommend if you want to stay in sliema. Nice view from pool, a bit to less places at pool and chemical smell in indoor pool. Breakfast okay nothing special. Overall recommend and location really good

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and well looked after. The only downside for the hotel was the size of the roof terrace and the lack of available sun beds for guests.

We had a great stay. So happy to have chosen Sliema as a base camp for our first visit in Malta, and even happier to have chosen Hotel Verdi to stay at. From the view of the bay and Valetta at sunrise from our balcony to the friendliness of the staff, the comfortable bed and pillows, the large two sink bathroom and shower, the excellent breakfast, the great roof top pool to watch the sunset over the hill this hotel has all the elements to please. We fell it is great value for the money spent. No hotel parking but we found parking within 200m of the hotel every time we came back from our daily outings.

We were on the 11th floor there were only 2 rooms on this level and the swimming pool. The swimming pools are very small. The indoor pool was the perfect temperature. I never met any one else in the pool when I went for my swim. Long opening times for the pool which is good. Breakfast had everything you need, I asked for a herbal tea each morning which they did without any issues. For me at breakfast I would have liked to see some different fruits instead of the mixed fruit salad. There was no real atmosphere in the evenings at the hotel, but there are plenty of food, bars nearby and live singers. The area the hotel is in was perfect, enough to do without being too loud. Staff at the hotel were very efficient and helpful.

The rooftop pool was probably the biggest reasons we picked this hotel. The outside pool was freezing cold and the inside pool was a dirty and black stained mess. The inside pool was so small it would have been better off as a hot tub. Both were unusable.

Great location on the main promenade. 3 min walk to the bus stop and under 10min walk to the Valletta ferry. Hotel was well kept, the rooms were modern. Shower gel, moisturiser ect provided in room. Defo stretch to getting a sea view if you can, the views over the harbour are lovely. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and 1 day i had an early boat trip and they gave me a bag to go with fruit and pastries. Rooftop pool was lovely, small but didnt get too busy. Gym was well equipped

5/5 Ausstattung Zimmer ist Top. Zimmer mit Meerblick lohnt sich, wunderschöner Blick auf die Altstadt und kleinen Hafen. Sehr Stilvoll modern und Sauber. Wir waren im 3 OG. 3/5 Frühstück ist sehr kleine Auswahl und jeden Tag das selbe. 4/5 Service an der Rezeption, im Zimmer und im Frühstücksraum ist sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Was gestört hat war die Hotel eigene Tourmanagerin, wollte alles verkaufen obwohl man explizit nach einer Unternehmung gefragt hat. Zudem hat Sie einen falschen Zeitplan für die Gozo Fähre mitgegeben, der nicht mehr gültig war. Somit Fähre verpasst und 3 Stunden gewartet. 3/5 Lage ist relativ laut, auch wenn die Zimmer Schallgeschützt sind hört man die 4 Spurige Straße Nachts, die genau vor dem Hotel verläuft. Wir waren im 3 OG. Viele Bars, Supermarkt, Einkaufsmall und Restaurants in der Nähe. 3,5/5 Pool ist klein mit Innen und Außenbereich. Leider keine Bar. Es gibt ungefähr 15 Liegen. Ausblick ist wunderschön auf die Altstadt. Gegenüber gibt es die Aqualuna Poollandschaft. Lohnt sich mehr aber kostet auch 30€ pro Person pro Tag. Wenn man zu den Nachbar Hotels (The Waterfront) gehört, ist der Eintritt frei. Leider nicht für Hotel Verdi. Fazit: Wir waren insgesamt 10 Tage im Hotel. Man erhält ein gutes, sauberes und solides Hotel zu einem relativ angenehmen Preis. Mit Vor- und Nachteilen. Für uns jedoch nicht mehr zu empfehlen, da uns Punkte wie Pool und Frühstück wichtig sind.

The hotel is well located for access to both ferries and the Malta public bus system as well as the major tour buses. Our room which was of a reasonable size offered a great view over Valletta was clean and had all the modern facilities you would expect. The breakfast was excellent and the staff helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Verdi. Our room was very clean and comfortable with lovely views across to Valletta. All the staff we encountered either at reception or in the dining room were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Any requests or problems were dealt with immediately. Very convenient location with ferries, shops and restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is newly opened, so the everything in the hotel is in a good condition. The staff are nice and kind, and ready to help customers. The breakfast buffet is fresh and tasty. But the linens... have some wierd sour smell, I guess they didn't get dried well after the laundry. And the shower booth is not big enough, so it did not prevent the water flooding out to the other part of bath room. This was the most inconvenient part of this hotel while I'm staying.

Very happy with our choice: great service, comfortable bed, beautiful sea view from the room and balcony, incredible soundproofing for good sleep, lovely rooftop pool with that view again, decent breakfast, good shower, great location. Lighting in the bathroom is terrible for makeup or shaving; full length mirror view of oneself on the loo also not a desirable extra… Would stay here again!

Friendly polite staff and easy check in/out. Huge clean room and very quiet. TV only 1 English Channel. Bed comfy but pillows very small. Bathroom huge too and kept clean. Disappointing side view balcony, with scaffolding and building works only 30 feet away. Breakfast not 4 star only 2/3 star. Quite small and choice limited.

Die Lage und die Aussicht ist sehr schön, leider kann man diese auf den Balkons nicht unbedingt nutzen da sehr starker Verkehr herrscht und es dadurch sehr laut ist.Bei geschlossem Fenster ist aber von dem Lärm fast nichts zu hören. Die Zimmer sind geräumig aber das Licht im Bad ist zu dunkel, speziell der große Spiegel ist sehr schlecht ausgeleuchtet. Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Abwechslung vertragen.

Staff is great, facilities are ok, beds on the hard side but decent. Gym TVs were missing remotes and therefore would often just show the placeholder screen. The pool is quite small and the inside even smaller and had a really strong chlorine smell. Room had weird wiring where TV audio is played in the bathroom even when TV is muted. It’s not controllable from the room, need to complain to staff at daytime to get electrician to remove the wiring. There’s a balcony light that cannot be turned off from room, it’s supposed to be on timer but one night they were on till half past midnight. What makes matters worse is that both curtains are on single rail so there’s allways light coming in from in between. Final weirdness is glass wall between bathroom and bedroom which is not see through but means if you go to bathroom in the middle of the night you light up the whole room, waking up everyone.

A great hotel in a convenient location and with lovely interiors. The rooms are all a good size. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is good and the drinks in the bar in the eve are a very reasonable price. We had some confusion regarding whether breakfast was or wasn't included and what we agreed wasn't passed to another member of staff causing issues at check-out. However, in the end it was resolved. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was fine but we were really disappointed by our room which was dark and dingy with very little natural light. We had to have the lights on all the time. In addition there was nowhere to sit and relax in the room. If anyone intends to stay here then you must book a balcony sea view room. We asked for a paid upgrade but they were unable to help us. Spoilt an otherwise enjoyable trip.

This is a great hotel. It seems to be newly renovated. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. It is not in the quietest area, but not obnoxious. We were on the 4th floor and you can hear what is going on outside, because there are a lot of dining options in the area.

Excellent hotel staff, this hotel is central to everything you will want to do in Malta. My single room was exceptional, crisp clean with bathroom as big as the main room. The best shower facilities I have ever experienced. Though some may be put off by window view options, so check before booking, one of the quitest hotels I have stayed in,wish I could have brought home the bed pillows.would definitely recommend.

From the moment I booked, to our arrival, everything was flawless. I asked for a special room because we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary as a surprise for my husband. The people at the front desk and the wait staff for breakfast were always smiling and gracious. The location was exceptional. The Hop On, Hop Off Bus was right in front of the hotel and the view from our hotel balcony was spectacular.

Hotel front staff were very helpful but cleaning staff not interested in requests to replenish the water. Hotel is very modern and clean but out look from my balcony was a building site. Breakfast is very basic and struggled to get a table anytime after 9am.

A great hotel in a convenient location and with lovely interiors. The rooms are all a good size. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is good and the drinks in the bar in the eve are a very reasonable price. We had some confusion regarding whether breakfast was or wasn't included and what we agreed wasn't passed to another member of staff causing issues at check-out. However, in the end it was resolved. I would definitely stay here again.

Struggling to find anything wrong with the hotel - perhaps breakfast buffet could be a bit more varied but that just a small detail - still really tasty. Amazing staff - they truly made us feel welcome, and great location. Very very solid 4-star hotel.

Check in with Guiseppe was painless. Room well appointed with fabulous view of the bay. USB points. Bathroom stylish and practical. Pool service by Felipe, was second to none. Breakfast plentiful. Great location. Approx 10/15 mins in uber to airport 14 euros

I had a wonderful stay at the Verdi Gzira in Malta and cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and immaculately maintained, with comfortable rooms and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere that makes you feel at ease the moment you arrive. Vi bestilte værelse med havudsigt, som viste sig at være “side seaview”. Det bør beskrives tydeligere. Ved ankomst spurgte vi om mulighed for at betale for upgrade til fuld havudsigt, men det kunne receptionisten ikke svare på. Vi spurgte igen på 2. dagen og 3. dagen, stadig uden svar om det var muligt eller ej. Værelset var med balkon, men denne var i fuld sol fra 13.30-17.15 og kunne derfor ikke bruges pga. varmen. Aircondition stoppede med at virke i uge 2 af vores 14-dages ophold, men 2 henvendelser fik ikke en tekniker til at dukke op. Vi fangede ham tilfældigt på gangen 3 dage efter første henvendelse, og han rodede med sensoren i terrassedøren i en halv times tid, og erklærede derefter opgaven løst. Det holdt i en times tid. Ved hjælp af en te-ske kunne vi selv fikse sensoren fra dag til dag. Der er ikke mange af personalet som har øjenkontakt og hilser, og det går id over følelsen af at være velkommen. Morgenmaden er rigtig god, og poolen på taget ganske fin.

Great location. Ferry to Valletta was only a few minutes' walk, and Mdina and Rabat were just a short Uber/Bolt ride away. Tons of great restaurants and shops around the hotel. Staff were very helpful too!

Super hôtel bien situé dans le centre de Sliema. Le ferry se trouve à 5min à pied pour se rendre à La Valette (15-20 min de trajet. Des arrêts de bus sont à proximité également. Beaucoup de restaurants, supérettes à côté. Il y’a 2 centres commerciaux à 10-15 min à pied. L’hôtel est bien équipé, seulement nous n’avons pas eu de fer à repassé (pourtant mentionné lors de la réservation). Les chambres sont très spacieuses et bien décorés. La vue sur mer est incroyable. Le personnel est très accueillant et sont présents en cas de questions ou problèmes. Le petit déjeuner en buffet était correct. La piscine donnant sur une vue panoramique est tout juste magnifique! Dommage que la piscine intérieure soit petite et que l’extérieur n’ait pas été chauffé (hors saison) et qu’elle ferme tôt (18h30!). La gym est pas mal et le sauna était fermé.

Excellent hotel in a really lively spot. It was easy to access the harbour, ferry to Valleta, shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was large with efficient air conditioning, and the quality and variety at breakfast was excellent. The views from the roof top pool are stunning. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location on the main promenade. 3 min walk to the bus stop and under 10min walk to the Valletta ferry. Hotel was well kept, the rooms were modern. Shower gel, moisturiser ect provided in room. Defo stretch to getting a sea view if you can, the views over the harbour are lovely. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and 1 day i had an early boat trip and they gave me a bag to go with fruit and pastries. Rooftop pool was lovely, small but didnt get too busy. Gym was well equipped

This is a comfortable and well-located hotel in the heart of the Sliema waterfront with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and efficient, and we were made to feel welcome. The room was a little smaller than I expected (we had booked a ‘deluxe’), but the view over the harbour to Valletta was superb.

Overall, the stay was excellent. My only comment is that they need to work on providing a more Vegan balanced option for breakfast. The alternatives to milk option were excellent but the food was poor. Mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, and fruit salads are the options. Lots of bread, pastries, cakes and cheese but not suitable for vegans. Great however for meat eaters.

Liked the room size. Liked the staff, all friendly and helpful. Like the shower, really nice. Disliked the pillows - so hard and thick we could rise them. Disliked the breakfast, was pretty low in quality. Disliked the sauna, barely got hot. Waste of time.

The only thing I will criticise here is the dining area. The breakfast area is just not great. One coffee machine 40 odd clients . It just does not work & it is in the wrong place. It needs to be well away from the food area. You cannot move there when there is a queue.

Staff were very helpful. Rooms larger than average and very clean. Dining area was small so queuing for breakfast at certain times. The dinner menu was limited. The swimming pool is small but there are sun beds to use. Not a hotel for children but good for adults.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel the location was great and had a lovely view of Valletta. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were so spacious and clean I appreciate the storage there was two separate areas for me and my partner. The cool was great as it was so hot when we stayed although there were only 8 or so loungers and pool wasn’t not very big and only 1.2m deep. The breakfast was nice but was the same everyday so once you find what you like you are kind of stuck with eating same thing. I didn’t love the shadowed glass from toilet to bedroom as if you are to get up in the night the light shines through as there was only one big light to turn on. AC was amazing and overall fantastic hotel really peaceful, amazing staff and good location.

Great location right on the esplanade. Easy to get to the Ferry's and lots of restaurants right at your door step. Clean rooms. The rooftop pool is a great escape from the heat with amazing views, however not that many beds and not enough umbrella's for each row to get some shade from the sun. Ordering food to the rooftop was a little slow. The air conditioning did break during my stay and I had 2 nights without it and I had to move hotels because I was in town for work. But the staff did their best to rectify the situation and were really great when i asked for a refund. Would stay again

Really nice modern style hotel overlooking the yachts and luzzu boats. Well equipped room, accessible bathroom well planned and practical. Room wasn't huge but it was still very easy for a wheelchair user to move around in without having to move furniture. Staff very helpful although there was an issue with the wheelchair ramp onto the front promenade it was dealt with immediately and the rear access was available until it did. Thus showing the hotel is well versed in dealing with the needs of a wheelchair user.
