Perfecte locatie voor een verblijf in Madeira. Dichtbij de hoofd-autosnelweg om overal snel te geraken. Privé-toegang tot de zee met een eigen rif: zeker snorkel-spullen meenemen! The room was very spacious, bigger than we expected and the breakfast offered a wide selection. The staff were also friendly. A wonderful end to my time in Madeira. The hotel was stunning and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. My room was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed out of all my various trips - extremely clean, well ventilated, warm and cosy and as someone who is passionate about interior styling, I really appreciated the minimalist design. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant was good and the close proximity to local restaurants and shops was a bonus too. Already dreaming about my next stay here 😍

Also, a 60min massage lasted for 40min. - asked to pay upfront upon check-in - check-in staff should make it clear whether your room is ready for early check in or not. We were led to believe we can check-in 2 hours early but our room wasn't actually ready which we only found out after 20min of paperwork. I really really enjoyed my stay. Hotel was clean and quiet and served my needs perfectly. Hotel staff was able to arrange for a rental car for me when I arrived to the hotel. Free parking was very limited but, I was always able to find paid street parking not far from the hotel. So not really a big deal. The hotel staff are superb. A special acknowledgement to Barbara Gomez who is so kind, professional, always had a smile on her face and offered great suggestions for things to do in Madeira during my stay. My only “complaint” which is minor is the temperature of the hot water in my room . I like the option of very hot water when it comes to bathing/showering. The water in my room was barely lukewarm. Outside of this minor issue, I would most certainly would stay at this hotel again.

A really nice resort, great breakfast and dinner buffet. Easy to take a bus to Funchal. The rooms were clean, and had a cool layout. My only complaint is that the room as too warm and humid for me to get a good nights sleep which negatively impacted my ability to get over the jetlag and enjoy the start of my vacation. The thermostat is the room does not change the temperature of the room, only displays the current temperature which, with the AC running all night showed the room temperature at 24°C.

The breakfast was fresh, with a variety of choice. The bedroom was nice clean and spacious with a view that was amazing to watch the sunrise each morning from the balcony. The facilities were good, the bus services 155 into town always punctual and again the journey to Funchal had amazing ocean and hilltop views, with winding roads offering a nice sceneric veiws. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend.

Great hotel, with lots of restaurants, lounges, loved the beach/pool/cliff area. Breakfast has a lot of variety. Limited parking and no dedicated shampoo or conditioner, only one bottle of soap/gel for both body and hair. Rooms renovated but not completely, the terrace and windows are still dated. Overall, we did enjoy our stay, there were a lot more positives than negatives.

The room AC was not working during our stay. The hotel could not fix it and we could not sleep properly during our stay. The room given to us was a pigeon hole with a distant view of the sea and was totally different from the pictures shown before booking. Buffet dinner was terrible with a server named Sonia showing bad attitude. While the view outside the hotel and possibly some rooms may have good views, it was a very disappointing experience. Will not go back there or recommend it to anyone else either.

Vielen Dank für die super entgegenkommende Serviceleistung. Nachdem in der Nacht um 3:00 Uhr unser Abflug gecancelt wurde fanden wir dieses Hotel, um einen Tag länger auf den Abflug zu warten. Obwohl wir regulär erst um 14 Uhr hätten das Zimmer beziehen können wurde das erste freigewordene Zimmer am Morgen für uns hergerichtet und so konnten wir schon um 9:30 Uhr das Zimmer beziehen und wir uns vom Stress der Nacht ausgiebig erholen. Nochmals herzlichen Dank!!!

Absolutely lovely hotel, the breakfast brunch was fantastic every time. The location is great if you plan to travel around the island as it’s 20 seconds from the highway. The ocean view was great as well. The restaurant and markets that are 30 seconds walk from the hotel were phenomenal as well. Definitely staying here again when I come back!

The property is simply ok. Not great, not bad. The adult only hotel, Sentido Galomar looked much better and the facilities e.g spa, nicer restaurant, lounge was located in the other hotel meaning you have to walk (very short walk though). Breakfast was very basic, the buffet lunch and dinner were much better.

Une jolie chambre, de belles piscines mais nous avons regretté le fait de devoir traverser la route et le parking pour rejoindre le restaurant et la piscine principale (l’hotel est sur plusieurs bâtiments) et le fait qu’il n’y ait pas assez de place de stationnement gratuit (même si ce n’était vraiment pas cher). We enjoyed our stay at the Sentido Galosol. We liked the beautiful modern interior design. Parking wasn’t always easy although there are some parking spots for hotel guests (not enough). The rooms were equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was good and we got a lunchbox for our early departure. The staff was very friendly. The indoor pool was nice and not too crowded. We would have loved more vegan options at the breakfast buffet (like for example some vegan spread for the bread).
