Love the location of the hotel and love the staff. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. There were many good restaurants available for dinner. The hotel breakfasts included with your room were EXCELLENT! We spent 4 days exploring Washington DC. The staff told us about the SW shuttle with a stop at the L'Enfant metro station; spy museum, air and space museum, and the zoo.

We had a great visit during peak cherry blossom time. Despite the hotel being very busy, our room was very quiet. We didn't hear anyone until we were actually out in the hallway. The lobby and elevator area were under light construction during our visit, but it did not cause any major issues. Breakfast was busy and sometimes we had to wait for a table, but it was never a very long wait. Lots of hot and cold options to start your day! The room was a good size and fully outfitted with a larger than usual fridge, a microwave, a stove, and a dishwasher. Housekeeping staff did a terrific job tidying up our room when we were out during the day. Front desk staff was always cheerful! The location was awesome - just a 20 minute walk to the mall and lots of restaurants nearby. The only downside was parking. We struggled to find an open space in the closest parking deck, so we ended up having to park further away and walking with all of our luggage.

The AC vent fell on my daughter as it was not screwed properly. It wounded her nose and it could have been much more fatal but praise God for his protection. They did refund us her stay at least.
