Tucked down a small lane off a bustling town centre the hotel was very quaint. The reception staff were all wonderful, extremely friendly and happy to offer recommendations across the city. Unfortunately the room fell short of our expectations. Quite grubby in places and sadly the air-conditioning wasn't overly powerful (and during a heat wave, we really needed it). The reception staff again, were lovely and offered an additional fan, but when advertising a fully airconditioned room, you do kind of expect it sadly. We didn't have breakfast, it was in the basement and did smell quite damp (not really their fault but put us off a little). Staff 10/10 room more like a 5.

This was my second time staying at Navona Essence. Both times i’ve stayed here were only for a night prior to catching a flight from FCO. I chose this hotel because the location is excellent, right off of Campo de Fiori, and perfect for enjoying one last night in the city. The staff was friendly and available 24 hours. The room was clean and comfortable. Be sure to try Forno, an incredible bakery right on the corner of the street. There’s also plenty of great restaurants in the piazza plus a daily farmers market during the daytime.

Location is great, walkable and close to many great things, the only problem was that our room over looked the path that the stalls used to set up for Campo de Fiori so early in the morning they could be heard. A few issues with plumbing, the shower didn’t drain properly and the toilet continuously ran from time to time.

The property was on an adorable little side street right off a piazza and convenient to walking to all major sites. The room was very clean and had all ammenities and the staff was very nice. Great boutique hotel!

The location is fantastic, perfect to walk to most of the major sites in Rome. The rooms are clean, comfortable and functionable. Our only criticism would be the breakfast, which was low quality with cold eggs & sausages. And a small thing, we asked about airport transportation options and they offered us a "shuttle" which was more expensive than the fixed fee for taxis in the city. To us it seemed an unnecessary attempt to get a few extra euros out of us.

The hotel is perfectly situated on a quiet street, feet from campo de Fiori. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were also clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay.

The room was nice and this is in an incredible location! Close to so many great restaurants and night life and walking distance to all of Rome's sights. The staff were extremely helpful and nice and provided lots of information and helped us to book a cab as well. Only thing is that the A/C did not work very well and we were in Rome the week of the heat wave so it was really challenging not coming home to a cool room.

We had a great stay! The hotel is conveniently located with close public transportation and many attractions within walking distance. The staff were nice and the room was very clean. Great AC, which was critical for a July visit. Our room had some steep steps in it which were fine for us but would warn for people who may have issues with stairs.

A lovely hotel in an even better location. The staff were very friendly and our room was great for families. We booked a junior suite, which was excellent value for money - loads of room, with 2 separate sleeping areas, a walk in wardrobe and balcony. The hotel is in a beautifu, quiet, market street and close to Piazza Novona and a lovely market square, with lots of places to eat. Would highly recommend.

Hotellet ligger helt centralt ved "Piazza Navona". Her er du lokaliseret midt i smørhullet, med kort afstand til langt de fleste seværdigheder. Personalet er ungt, og meget servicemindede. Morgenmads buffeten er ikke noget at skrive hjem om, men det er nu heller ikke en tradition i Italien. Værelserne er lidt slidte, og sengene lidt hårde, men det fungere fint. The hotel is nice and comfortable. But it is down a narrow alleyway with cobblestones. It is necessary to drag your luggage along and that is very inconvenient and uncomfortable. Especially if the area is closed for events.

The hotel is located at a walkable distance to most attractions. During our stay we had to only book a cab to the train station, but otherwise did walk to our destinations. Lot of food options around, and the local daily market is absolutely a great plus. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Tucked down a small lane off a bustling town centre the hotel was very quaint. The reception staff were all wonderful, extremely friendly and happy to offer recommendations across the city. Unfortunately the room fell short of our expectations. Quite grubby in places and sadly the air-conditioning wasn't overly powerful (and during a heat wave, we really needed it). The reception staff again, were lovely and offered an additional fan, but when advertising a fully airconditioned room, you do kind of expect it sadly. We didn't have breakfast, it was in the basement and did smell quite damp (not really their fault but put us off a little). Staff 10/10 room more like a 5.

The location is fantastic, perfect to walk to most of the major sites in Rome. The rooms are clean, comfortable and functionable. Our only criticism would be the breakfast, which was low quality with cold eggs & sausages. And a small thing, we asked about airport transportation options and they offered us a "shuttle" which was more expensive than the fixed fee for taxis in the city. To us it seemed an unnecessary attempt to get a few extra euros out of us.
