Welldone Antiquarium

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, within walking distance to everything and had many places to eat really close as well as a small market. The staff was very friendly and provided us with a map and recommendations when we arrived. We stayed in the penthouse with terrace and it was great. It had a decent amount of space and a really big terrace with lounge chairs and a table. Also in the room was a little kitchenette area with small fridge and dishes and cutlery. We would stay here again if in the area.

Ideal location, staff really helpful and friendly, property clean

The staff was kind, but not overly helpful. We asked for help to call a taxi, but only got the phone number sent to us on WhatsApp. Every morning we got another WhatsApp message asking if we wanted the room cleaned. In a hotel, I think the standard is that the room is cleaned every day. Now having the room cleaned made you feel demanding and a bother. There was a major power break during our stay. For a full day and until 2 am there was no electricity and no water in the room. We charged our phones in a restaurant, and had to use bathrooms in cafés and museums. After our stay I wrote to the hotel management asking for a partly refund for that day, but I have still (2 weeks) not received an answer.

Very well-designed condo style hotel: boutique appearance but modern interior. It is located at the edge of old town and very convenient for sight-seeing. Love the interior design: high ceiling, spacious, separated sink and toilet/ shower. Love the nestle nespresso machine, relatively large fridge, electric kettle, utensils and microwave (but no stove). The front desk staffs (especially Marda) are very welcoming and attentive. They added a personal touch upon our arrival - a champagne in the fridge, when they knew that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Highly recommended.

The room is downstair. When you open the curtain you see a dirty wall, no sky. The bathroom was dirty, there are some hairs on the walls and floor. There was no slipper at the room, I told the reception but there was no slippery. Without no slippery, it was hard to have a clean bath in that dirty bathroom. There was a receptionist girl who welcomed us at 8th March, she was very helpful. But there was a girl (with eyeglasses) with whom we checked out 13th March Friday morning, she did not help us to call a taxi. We did not like her mimics and behaviors to us. We just wanted her to help us call a taxi near the hotel since we have large luggages, but we had to walk a lot because of her. We had come to hotel by taxi (just the corner of Duenas) when we checked in 8th March. The room should be cleaner. The walls of the bathroom should be painted. There should be a slippery, shampoo etc. for the visitors in the room. Downstair rooms should be informed to the visitor while reserving a room.
