Flat Bush Holiday Accommodation

The property was great, clean, modern all facilities were were available. Only down size was the parking. If you didn't get there first you were forced to park on the road and the roads were very narrow. However we would definatly stay again.

Really nice and clean. Driveway parking is abit tight if you have a large vehicle but lots of on street parking. Would happily stay again, great price aswell

Excellent value for money, large room and access to large communal kitchen

The property was very clean and was a home away from home. The facilities were excellent. There should be a coin operated dryer on site since it was raining all the time we were there. Could not use the clothes line.

Room is clean and price is pretty reasonable. If you come to this place by car, it’s a bit messy as so many cars are parking.

Excellent cleanliness, kitchen for cooking facility and food storage. Plenty of coffee and tea. Very pleasant to stay at.

Well presented with contemporary decor, great location and clean. The communal living areas are an awesome addition with liquid refreshments and a selection of books. Because we were late arriving after our flight we did have issues with finding a park close by.

We reserved for 3 nights but only could stay one. It was dirty and noisy. Couches had stains and bedroom carpets were gross. Our 'superior' room was an area directly off the shared kitchen. In the morning, other guests who were also renting rooms in the house made their breakfast so we smelled and heard everything. Also, the washer is locked away in a closet. If you want to use it, you can contact the office a few blocks away and ask them to open it for you. Then, if you want to dry your clothes, you then have to haul your wet load to the office and dry it for $5 a load. They put a sign on the closet door that says it is probably easier just to take your clothes to a laundromat. If price really matters to you, this place is probably fine, but I really wish I had chosen differently for our family

Pretty new, clean enough and wonderful kitchen, highly recommended.

The property is like a Deluxe "Lodge style" accomodation - beautiful common areas with doors leading off. Our room (D6) was one with own kitchenette and small lounge and bedrooms for family of 5. The sofa lounge was uncomfortable and stained so hidden by blankets . We required this as a bed for our son who ended up in our bed. You could feel the springs in the main bed mattress otherwise everything else was good. Checking in was a bit off putting as we opted to pay at property and arrived at 5.30 only to be told through the door buzzer contactless check in was arranged and a key was put through a security latch. we found the property address but was confused if we could park in driveway or on street parking or if was the accomodation we booked ,you can see into the property and looked like the image in main pic of Flatbush marketing which wasnt what we booked. Wasnt until we let ourselves in we realised the setup. Alot could of been explained if were allowed to check in person. The property then charged a 2.5% card processing fee for contactless check in (which we didnt want) We never saw a $50 bond deposit mentioned when booking but charge held. we msg the property about this and was just told its as per booking policy and if we had an issue contact expedia. Overall it is a nice property just not what we expected with a few miscommunications/charges which could of been avoided. We were already flustered driving through the city with Narrow streets to arrive.

Clean room, good communication

I thought the property was very clean and tidy. Beautifully furnished and comfortable. I had the best sleep on the bed as it was like sleeping on a cloud. Would definitely reccomend and book again. Very handy to Half Moon Bay ferry for Waiheke residents who miss the last car ferry. Good value for money.

There were no Gan or Aircon in the room even its peak of summer, The bathroom wasn’t in the room you have to walk outside

Fantastic value for money. The property was beautiful. We had a delux room with a bathroom which I would recommend rather than sharing one. The kitchen was amazing and very well stocked with utensils etc for cooking our meals. Its on the flight path for planes landing at Auckland airport and they are very loud. We got used to it and it became fun watching them as they fly so low!! Woll definitely be returning to Flatbush accommodation again.

Our room was very spacious & we had our own private bathroom. The air con in the room was amazing as it was so hot in Auckland when we stayed. I stayed with my teenage Daughter so we had a twin share room with single beds. It was very comfortable. Reasonably priced as well for our 2 nights, easy check out as we left early to attend a breakfast function.

I wanted this property to be good, but it was terrible. The walls are paper thin. Had some couple on both sides of the room that talked to 3am and one of them had sex multiple times. Was pretty awful to be honest. Had 3-4 hours sleep. Would not recommend if you need sleep for a busy day at work the next day.

We stayed in a self- contained unit and had instant access to the communal area, everything convenient. The unit is absolutely stunning, the decor themed, very stylish and modern. If you like style, comfort and cleanliness, then this is the place to be. Thank you FHA for a pleasant stay 10/10

Es war eine sehr ruhige Gegend mit ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Erreichbarkeit zum nahegelegenen Einkaufszentrum war etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Das ein oder andere Mal haben verliebte Paare ihr Glück lautstark geäußert :-). Super freundliche Manager. Ich werde es jedem weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful place to stay, but noisy due to low-flying aircraft and cars tooting early in the morning. No air conditioning in bedrooms, so they were very hot and stuffy.

My family party of 4 arrived after check in time 3pm after a enduring a long flight from overseas. On collecting the key to our accommodation, said key could not be found, and also it was revealed that the apartment was not ready. They had all day to get unit ready. We were told to go away for a few hours while they got our accommodation ready.. Absolutely disgusting. No communication between office and cleaning staff apparent. Not recommended at all

This modern townhouse easily accommodated all six of us. The cleaner was polite and helpful. And the manager was very quick in answering questions and assisting us in checking in earlier. Thank you for the stay, we would definitely be back!

Clean, roomy, and friendly staff.

The property itself was quite nice and spacious. It was noisy due to planes flying over throughout the night and early morning. The street was fairly small and had a lot of parked cars on both sides of the road, so additional parking was limited. There were no nearby restaurants within walking distance. Checkin was very impersonal and not so easy especially since there was nowhere to park initially. We arrived just after 8:30 pm from Australia with 4 small children so the rudeness of the intercom reception person was not appreciated.

Easy for late check in.

The place is clean but very noisy, they over charged us,already deducted 50 dollars from our account when we get their asked us to pay full account.my husband rang them hard to contact the reception.finally we got to talked to d man at the reception told us ,he will refund the 50 but until now no refund yet.

Very disappointing. Also, did not know that we would be sharing a washroom with others.

Lovely place, well organised. Lovely shared kitchen area. Helpful staff. The location is very suburban, but safe and quiet (other than a few planes!). Perfect if you need accommodation in this location.

Very nice, cute and newer townhome that is well furnished and everything working well. In a very quite residential neighborhood. Note - you need to pick up the key at a different location from where the place is.

Stayed in a townhouse. New property. Close to many amenities, very convenient. Staff is very welcoming.

If there is something that could be bad, is that I don't know how reachable it is with public transport

Overall a very comfortable place with modern and clean rooms. Nice coffee oasis and good cooking possibilities. Reception did not look like reception and the photo of passport was taken with a mobile phone (not safe). Airplanes flew quite low over the place which was a bit annoying so remember your earplugs. Healthy breakfast available.

Fantastic price, Great Staff, Position and facilities. I booked with Breakfast and was great ....Ormiston Mall 25 mins walk and has it all. Staff Lyle and Henni were great in giving recommendations where to eat etc and I tried them all. The Shuttle back to airport was a Bonus and $25 +cheaper than opposition. Only problem was the Thin walls as I had Snoring next door....BUT I will return without hesitation

Great stay. Easy and friendly booking in the first day. Nice clean apartment and breakfast was on-time every day. Quite and safe area and parking right in front of garage doors. Stay was perfect.. just needed place to sleep and shower .. apt was well kept and equipped for a family.. we only used the kettle.. thank you for the complimentary teas..
