Residence Alpha Apartments

Grade A property, we stayed in the deluxe apartment and the desscription online really didn’t do it justice! Amazing rooms, massive beds - Netflix in the rooms, great kitchen amazing balcony with a great view. Close to a small quiet beach as well as the busier one mainly used for the hotels nearby (but these were also not too busy). Petar great host there if you need him but doesn’t intrude at all. Pool small but pefect temp and very clean. Couldn’t recommend more

We enjoyed our stay at Residence Alpha. Excellent view of the sea from the terrace, friendly staff and a cute resident cat with 6 kittens. The apartment was well appointed with modern furniture and comfortable bed. It is walking distance to the beach if you don't mind climbing many steep stairs. Parking is there but can be tricky at full occupancy. We had a bit of a mosquito problem, which could be helped by installing nets on windows. An umbrella on the terrace would also have been helpful to get some shade (a stand was there but no umbrella). Not ideal for people with mobility issues.

The place has an amazing view and the pool is a refreshing touch. It was very clean and comfortable. Only downside is the cigarette smoke that would come through the vent/ air conditioner from the neighbors. Couldn’t sleep with windows open because of the mosquitoes so there was no escape from the smell. The place is located up the hill from Cavtat town center and is a 20 minute walk (if walking down hill) but you can always catch a cab if you don’t want to walk back up. All in all, the place was great and would have been perfect if not for the invasion of the cigarette smoke.

Residence Alpha is a wonderful seaside getaway that is only 10 minutes away from the airport and 30 minutes from Dubrovnik. Petar is a gracious host who made our stay truly memorable with recommendations on what to see and where to eat. The apartments look out to the sea and down to the nearby port town. There is a small pool and access to a great little swimming beach. Just be aware that the apartments are up several flights of stairs, so be prepared to get your steps in.

Overnight stay before flight home after being in Mostar for a week. Lovely apartment, great view and nice outside area and pool. Excellent communication from owner and very helpful re area, things to do, how to get into Cavtat and further afield and also booked a cab for me to get to airport the next day.

The room itself was clean and spacious with a fantastic view from the large balcony! The host Petar was ver nice and accommodating, however when the power went out late at night there was no one to contact. Luckily I found the breaker to remedy the situation. Also a couple of other things that would have been nice to have would be extra towels (only one per person for 3 nights) more lounge chairs by the pool( there was never any available for our family) and a freezer. We like to make ice for drinks in the evening and for our water bottles during the hot days and while there was a refrigerator for some reason no freezer. Lastly, it was a bit of a walk to Cavtat, so we would have preferred to be in town, but it is a nice place and a short walk to a private beach which was very nice!

The apartment was modern and comfortable. Peter was a great host and really cares for the complex and his town. There is parking on site, it’s just a little tight but very doable. Cavtat is a great place to stay outside of Dubrovnik, really has every you would want at a ocean town.

Apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. Views from the balcony were as described - stunning!! Access to the property is up a steep hill as with many properties in the area. Petar the caretaker/receptionist was extremely helpful throughout my stay.

This unit was VERY clean, as if we may have been some of the first people to stay there! The views and the balcony were amazing. The unit was much larger than other ones we stayed in, in the same price range. Would definitely stay here again.

Magnifique séjour dans la résidence alpha. Les appartements sont grands et modernes. La propreté était également au rendez-vous. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par notre hôte qui nous a donné plusieurs conseils. La vue est magnifique. La piscine rajoute un gros plus à la résidence, avec une belle vue sur la mer de celle-ci également. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

O apartamento é muito melhor nas fotos, mas é razoável e dispõe de uma varanda com uma linda vista. É relativamente novo e com uma decoração moderna. No apartamento que ficamos todas as portas eram de vidro e, com isso, durante a noite a sala e o quarto ficavam muito claros, atrapalhando bastante para dormir. O box do chuveiro não tem vidro na frente e o banheiro ficava todo molhado após o banho. A limpeza deixou a desejar, inclusive com vasilhas mal lavadas. Não havia papel toalha na cozinha. A garagem coberta é horrível tanto para entrar quanto para sair, requerendo muitas manobras e, para piorar, da garagem até o apartamento são 90 degraus de subida bem íngreme, que subimos carregando as malas quando chegamos.

Wir sind anfangs mit einer positiven Einstellung gegenüber der Unterkunft angereist. Diese hat sich jedoch im Laufe der Zeit schnell geändert. Zum einen hatte die Unterkunft (Studio) keine Fenster, sondern lediglich ein Schiebefenster, welches auch als Eingangstür diente. Dadurch, dass das Schiebefenster für alle zugänglich war, hat man sich zur Schlafenszeit nicht wohl dabei gefühlt, mit offener „Tür“ zu schlafen. Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr sporadisch vorhanden und im Laufe der Zeit ist dies leider immer mehr aufgefallen. Durch die fehlende Ausstattung war das Kochen schwer bis unmöglich. Zudem hatten wir Ameisen in der Küche. Da im Badezimmer keine Fenster waren und die Lüftung im Bad nur insoweit funktioniert hat als, dass das Licht an war, entstand Schimmel im Bad, welchen man an der Decke vorfand. Auch die Dusche hatte keinen Vorhang, was dazu geführt hat, dass im Bad eine Pfütze entstanden ist, welche nie wirklich weggegangen ist, sondern sich mit jedem weiteren Duschvorgang erweitert/vergrößert hat. Die Behandlung durch den Host Petar war gut, jedoch wirkte er teils aufdringlich, da er bei jeder Begegnung fragte, ob alles okay ist oder man irgendeine Tour machen und bei ihm direkt kaufen möchte (Kleiner Tipp: Diese sind am Strand von Cavtat günstiger als bei Petar selber). Außerdem wurde während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts von 7 Tagen kein einziges Mal sauber gemacht oder Handtücher gewechselt.

Kamer op zich is wel mooi. Wat ons direct opviel is dat de kamer niet fris of naar sigaretten rook. Het terras heeft een opknapbeurt nodig.

Nous avons réservé un séjour d'une semaine. La vue sur la mer était formidable. Un véritable plaisir pour prendre le petit déjeuner ou l'apéritif le soir. Le site indique que l'entretien des chambres est réalisé quotidiennement. Pourtant ce n'est pas le cas. Selon l'hôte, il faut séjourner plus d'une semaine pour bénéficier du ménage dans votre logement. Vous ferez votre lit vous-même avec les draps que vous trouverez pliés sur le lit le premier jour. La literie était plutôt confortable et nous avons apprécié la climatisation. Je ne recommande pas du tout ce logement aux personnes à mobilité réduite. L'accès est plutôt raide (côte et escaliers). Pour se rendre au centre de Cavtat, une marche d'une vingtaine de minutes est nécessaire à l'aller, idem au retour avec la côte et les escaliers en plus. Pour finir, l'eau de la piscine était plutôt trouble. Ce n'était pas un véritable problème car nous étions venus chercher la mer.

We stayed in highest building on the top floor and the view was incredible but we had to up over 100 stairs to reach our room. The amenities were ok at best. The towels and sheets had holes in them, the coffee machine was falling apart, the shower did not have a door ( that was weird), it was a bit difficult to find the place (signage at the bottom of the parking area would be helpful). Our host Peter was very friendly and informative. Oh yes one more thing the view was spectacular!

We had a little problem with communication. I tried several times to make arrangements for someone to let us into the apartment. We arrived after dark and didn't see any markings to let us know if we were in the correct place. Someone came to meet us. Info in the listing does state that there is no elevator, but looking at the pics, I thought it was a two story building. Our building was on the 4th tier and we had to carry our bags up 80 steps in the dark. I'm glad I had a flashlight. Once we got into the apartment, it was very nice. Clean and comfortable with a lovely view. It was only a few minutes drive to the airport. I would recommend these apartments if you aren't 74 years old with bad knees.

The property is OK. Negatives: Some cabinets in the kitchen are broken/loose. Freezers handle is broken and doesnt close. Sleeping-sofa is veery uncomfortable. Shower does not have any curtains or drain outside of the shower - so water splashes everywhere and stays there. (The host gave us towels to clean up) Its a 20-30min walk to the main center from the apartment. Too little sunshade, both in the balcony and around the pool. Positives: Amazing view from the balcony. Host is generally helpful. Theres a "private" beach 2-3min from the apartment.

The view of the Adriatic Sea from our apartment was spectacular. The apartment was spacious and the bed was super comfy. Linens were a mystery to us but we adapted.

Petar ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Resident. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt wobei unser Studio schon sehr sehr klein und hellhörig war, die Lage ist OK jedoch nicht wirklich viel in der Gegend los. Man muss viele Treppen zum Strand laufen und zum Hafen läuft man mindestens 25 Minuten. Alles andere ist nur mit dem Auto erreichbar.

We spent one week at Residence Alpha. The apartment is pretty well equipped, is very comfortable and modernly furnished. The views from our 1st floor flat were lovely with evening sun on the private balcony. The best aspect of the stay was the friendly greeting and help provided by the staff who were always on hand.

Nice apartments. Little hiccup on arrival as it was late, 2.30am, and person meant to be waiting wasnt there. But expedia (through chat) sorted it out and managed to get hold of the owner on what must have been some sort of Bat phone. And with in 10 mins we were in. Apartment was clean and modern, was ideal really. It was in alpha block which is some 150 steps from.beach up, but it is the only block with an unspoilt view, which was amazing. Few downnsides, kids were told no ball games in pool, even when they were only ones in and around pool, that was annoying and unecessary. Also no local supermarket, 30 min walk at least, but only 7 euros in uber.

3 bâtiments récents regroupant une 20 de studios. CE N'EST PAS UN HOTEL! Impossible de garer une voiture sans l'abîmer. Notre studio était accessible après 100 marches, avec les valises... Le wifi ne fonctionne pas, la climatisation non plus. Établissement loin de tout... 30 mn à pieds au minimum pour restaurants, bars, épiceries. 15 mn pour plage avec parasols payant. La personne qui "accueille" les clients est désagréable et ne donne aucun renseignement. Bel appartement propre avec une belle vue.

Fantastic accommodation. Breathtaking views. Peter was fantastic and helpful a little bit of a walk to the centre but not to far. Food in the restaurants was exceptional especially Dalmatinos.

Comfortable accommodation. Little way out of Cavat, we had car so was ok. Steep climb to property, so bear that in mind. Beautiful views over harbour, bed very good and kitchen well equipped. We only stayed one night so couldn’t comment further but would recommend if you are happy to walk into Cavat or have a car. Host was very helpful and clear instructions.

This property was breathtaking, the views were unbeatable and a walking distance to the beach. Will warn you that there is a hill and lots of steps to get to your residency. Peter was very helpful and kind.

Beautiful apartment, condo and incredible view. Only discomfort was getting up and back, there are about 6 flights of steps above where you can park a car. Even without luggage, it’s a work out. Host was very friendly. Just to caution that if you’re not physically capable to walk, well - it would be a struggle.

My 14 year old daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Alpha apartment. Petar and Stanka worked hard to provide necessary information and responded swiftly to any requests. Owing to the steep climb to the apartments, it is unsuitable for any persons with mobility issues. The pool was clean and refreshing. Short walks to the beach and in the opposite direction into Cavtat for restaurants and shops meant no vehicle required. The views from alpha were spectacular! We arrived there around 10pm and as the apartment was self catering, we had no basic supplies. Feeling tired after travelling, we did not feel like wandering far; my only criticism is that I would suggest a basic breakfast pack (tea/coffee) be available for travellers to purchase on arrival. Petar was kind and hospitable. My daughter’s luggage had locked and would not open. Petar assisted and managed to open. Petar also came to the rescue when the bottle opener broke! Overall, a pleasant place to holiday. Thank you.

A very nice condo-like place in the hills near Cavtat. This is a great place to arrive from or leave to the airport, and also a good spot to see Dubrovnik from (arrive by boat!). Caveat is a classic small tourist town, pretty harbour, lots of good food at various price levels, beaches, bars, etc and visitors from all over. Afaict, every apt has a nice deck to do with it. Very relaxing environment!

Property was lovely easy to get to different places lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Its in a good location, i think its better than staying in Dubrovnik. The place was clean with many restaurants nearby. Easy access to Dubrovnik and local islands.
