I liked the breakfast. And how modern and new smelling the whole hotel was. The pool was warm, but the hot tub could have been hotter and the smell of it was like used bath water. The rooms were nice and clean, however, the pillows and blankets could have been nicer and not lumpy. Overall, we did enjoy our stay.

Tru is a great concept of family fun and activities but this property was not maintained properly. The games were all missing parts including the pool table. The shared seating area was great but a lot of the chairs/couches had stains on them.

Very modern hipster-styled hotel (love it or hate it!). Has lots of places to sit in the lobby, and lots of nice seating outside to enjoy a quiet evening. Has some limited alcoholic beverage options - nice. Great to have a pool table and various games in the lobby. The rooms are smallish yet nice and everything is setup for space-consciousness. Room flooring is vinyl, which can be good or bad. Water pressure at the Meridian ID location is bad with the shower at least, sink and toilet are fine. Breakfast is pretty decent with many offerings. Coffee is so hot the McDonald's lawsuit comes to mind. It's like they use 212F water in it...I know a few like that, but it's abnormal. Pool is nice but smaller, hot tub is excellent and large with long run times on the jets. Overall a good experience here and would recommend.

Small rooms but comfortable, clean and had what I needed. I really appreciated the gym area and all the options available there. Breakfast was good, the pool and hot tub were nice and the game area in the lobby was popular.

Very nice hotel. They are very short staffed almost always had to request towels when swimming but otherwise a nice facility. The breakfast is just ok… one automatic pancake maker which should definitely be replaced with waffle makers.

We had leftover food in the fridge from whoever stayed in the room before us. Also, my daughter and I had a slip and fall in the pool area; I had a bruised elbow for days. I did let the front desk staff know and all he could say was sorry.

Loved the efficiency of room storage and furniture. Did not care for the squeeze bottle soaps as it was difficult to squeeze to get it to disperse and then having to repeat often to get enough to shower with. This would have been impossible for many senior citizens with gripping issues. The room was located on the street side which was quite busy with many loud vehicles racing off from the intersection, so if I stayed again I would insist on a room on the parking lot side. Oh and Parking was very limited.

My room was right next to the highway and all the rice burners were driving around that night and the next night. The air conditioner sounds like one of those rice burners. The room was not as clean as it should have been and no microwave !!

They did not clean the room on a daily basis unless you asked for that service, this is the 1st hotel I ever stayed at that the room didn’t get cleaned daily. I think they need to reevaluate the companies policy on cleaning rooms daily The staff was great otherwise

Poor customer service and housekeeping! For a 4 night stay the housekeeper only removed trash and changed towels once and only after we made several trips to the reception. They did not clean the room at all! We were without a hand soap for two days until my wife went to the reception and requested a bottle of soap. And, we have to install it ourselves. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was clean, but the pool area was gross. The hot tub had lots of foam in it and the top of the foam was brown with hair all over in it. Grossest hot tub I have ever seen.

The guy that checked us is what outstanding!!!!! Friendly and great customer service. Our room was nice, however there could be a bit more effort from the cleaning staff to clean. Shower floor was dirty, toilet in bowl was dirty and night stands had definitely not been wiped down.

We were treated with kindness and respect by the receptionist at the desk and other staff we engaged with. Was not extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of rooms. we actually left and asked for discount due to dirty room

Loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. All of the rooms have laminate-style flooring, which leads to excessive noise all night from surrounding rooms. I could hear everything. Footsteps, voices, TV, suitcases. Our room was pretty far down the hall and I could hear the darn elevator beep every time it stopped at the floor. Why does the elevator beep have to be that loud?? Sure, the hotel has a hip lobby area. But I'm not at a hotel to play arcade games. I'm there to sleep: and this is not a good option for light to moderate sleepers.

Everything was perfectly acceptable. Nothing was excellent, nothing was horrible. Only real complaint is that every linen was about 50% smaller than it should have been. The towels could cover a child, the comforter could have fit a full sized bed (we had a king), the pillows were only half stuffed. Service was great, everything was clean. As long as the item in question wasn’t fabric related, it met expectations.

I liked how modern and clean the property was. The soap bottles refills are very cool. The beds and pillows were very comfy. What I didn't like, the rooms do not have coffee pots or microwaves. The rooms are too small. For the price I paid, I could have gotten more from a different hotel!!

Property was newer and so it was very clean. The staff was friendly and polite. That\'s the good. The rooms are small and the walls are paper thin (Yes - we could hear our neighbors doing "it"). There\'s no couch to relax and watch TV. There was no desk, either! The mattress and pillows felt cheap and the AC was loud.

Even on the fourth floor highway noise was high. They had squeeze soap and lotion dispensers hard to use due to our arthritis. Every other toes and trash service didn’t always work out. No microwave in room. Staff was friendly and helpful, location convenient. Room was comfortable.

We enjoyed that there were activities in the lobby for the kids. It was bright and fun. The rooms were TINY with no storage for luggage, they were supposedly newly remodeled but there were cracks all over. Walls were thin and the other patrons were extremely loud all night long (no wonder they give you ear plugs at check in) The continental breakfast was by far the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. My kids wouldn’t eat any of it. We stay at a lot of Hilton hotels and this is my least favorite, we would not recommend.

Showed up and my prepaid reservation was lost and the hotel was fully booked. We booked through Expedia two months before our stay and now the hotel has lost our reservation. Basically they told us sorry but you'll have to find somwhere else to stay and you'll have to get your refund from Expedia. We drove over 6 hours and were ready to settle in for the night but that wasn't going to happen because now we had to find another hotel and most were fully booked due to all the events going on in the area. There was no accommodations offered like maybe a sister property. A few hours later we found something but had to pay way more and it was further away. The situation was so stressful and it shouldn't have happened. The front desk said its happened before at this property so it could happen again. We wont try to stay here again something is not right in there reservation system.

This was hands down the worst experience at a Hilton brand hotel ever. The clerks were incredibly rude. The night clerk called me a liar when I said the property listed laundry service (washer/dryer for guests). I showed her in two places where the property lists the amenity. It was late 10pm and we simply left to a local laundromat. In the morning the clerk refused me breakfast because she didn’t recognize me despite the fact I’d been in the gym on the peloton for an hour directly across from the lobby? Hands down terrible service from this property. Room was nice.

Horrible 2nd night. Loud, obnoxious young adults running up and down the hall,yelling and screaming in their room until after 2:00am. Called front desk 3 times from 11:45pm until 2:00am to request they do something about the noise. The guest’s would be quiet for about 5 min. Then start up again.

I had a quick check in the two gentlemen at the desk were very kind about the bug problem they were having and explaining it to me, and when I went to grab something to eat, I came back and asked them if it was a safe hotel, the gentleman behind the desk said yes, but if you feel more comfortable, please park in the front I thought that was very kind Considering I wasn’t a gold card member, the breakfast was very lacking. The coffee was awful, but thankfully there was a Starbucks about 10 minutes down the road so it made my morning very enjoyable overall it was a great day and I would stay there again!

Beds are very comfortable. Hotel and rooms are very clean and neat. Continental breakfast is good. Hotel is very accessible to the freeway and Eagle Rd, therefore; there is some traffic noise, but not terrible. The pub across the parking lot is great!

I really like staying at the tru. It’s close to a top golf and a straight shot to the meridian village mall and always has good breakfast. I like the board by the elevators giving ideas of where to eat or things to see

The hotel is clean and well appointed for my tweens (comfy beds, big TV, pool, snacks, included breakfast). The staff were super friendly - & location great being right off the highway. The airport is a only 10 minutes minute drive.

This hotel is well decorated and has a fun vibe. The rooms were spacious and clean. The lobby and dining area is large with plenty of seating. The breakfast had good options. I look forward to staying in Tru hotels.

Room was unique to optimize space. No closet but had clothes rack and wall mounted iron and ironing board. Innovative hooks and hanger pegs. Desk space inadequate for any work. Poor "desk chair" and nested "desk" without good lighting. No in-room microwave or refrigerator a negative. Innovative open reception space with breakfast area that doubles as lobby. Front desk staff had to be asked to replace empty coffee jug 2 out of 3 mornings I was there- training issue? Pet friendly a plus. Breakfast pancakes not working. Needs another toaster for bagles and toast.
