Great hotel with fabulous views of Carcassone Castle. Great sized room with bath and shower complementary robe slippers and mini bar. Excellent buffet breakfast. 4pm checkin is later than most hotels Great pool use however steam room etc is part of spa at an additional cost of 45 euros per hour. Overall great location for Christmas markets and castle 🏰 would highly recommend

Very pleasant Hotel in a prime location on the river next to the old bridge with ready walking access to the old city. 2 nights in a comfortable room with bath and shower. Breakfast was ample with a good range of cold and hot buffet items. Service was excellent with reception staff supportive and helpful. On the critical side, the spacious balcony with good views of river, bridge and old town leaked from above, with tired floring. The spa is separate from the small hotel swimming pool at extra cost with the hot tub and sauna within the spa. No room service for food whilst the restaurant was open and fully booked. Overall, a good stay 8/10

Great spot just across the river from the castle and a couple of blocks to great restaurants. They do have a small pay parking lot that is gated. Also, a driveway space to park briefly to unload/load your car out front. We loved our room and the view!

Pluses: very courteous staff, beautiful views of the Medieval City, convenient for that and for dining, very clean overall, good sized rooms, pleasant gardens. Minuses: pool is very small and only opens at 10am, parking is near, very secure and easy to get to but the route back to the hotel is awful; it takes you all round the town on a one-way system, often choked with traffic. They do have their own parking - at 15 Euros per night.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The only downside was we couldn’t get a lunchtime cocktail because the bartender didn’t start until 6 (it was a weekend) which was the only fault we could find! Great stay - Merci!

What a gem of a location! The views of the walled city from the hotel garden and rooms were incredible. Great walkable location. Used the fitness centre and sat in the garden in the morning with coffee. The shower was the best (rain shower with great pressure!). Only there for one night but this place had everything we wanted.

The hotel staff were really lovely, especially the night receptionist, Emma. The room was large and clean and the breakfast was great too… it even had champagne!

La chambre était propre, assez grande, bien aménagée, la salle de bain aussi. Quelques détails à reprendre pour un 4 étoiles mais rien de méchant. Le petit déjeuner était très bien (salé comme sucré).

If you are travelling with a pet, this hotel is Not dog friendly Your dog is not allowed in any areas apart from the room This meant that we also could not use any of the other areas We had to eat all meals away from the hotel despite the fact it was listed as dog friendly We also paid an additional 40 euros for our dog to stay We fully appreciate that people do not want pets nearby when they are eating but this hotel should make an effort to provide for pet owners Not interested when we complained We had a superior room with balcony The balcony was filthy The toilet seat was hanging off and the room was smelly The tv was faulty Would not return again

We had a nice balcony room on the third floor with a great view of La Cité and the Pont Vieux. The balcony had not been very well cleaned or swept though which is the sort of detail that a hotel of this quality should get right. The same goes for some of the crockery at breakfast. They need to check on the dishwashing because some plates were not properly clean.

Très belle chambre de prestance en centre ville proche parking souterrain et château avec cafetière nespresso, bouteille d'eau etc, mais problème de bonde de lavabo. Côté ménage, traces de doigts et de mains un peu partout, exemple télé, porte de séparation sdb, fenêtre...

Tres propre, moderne, excellente douche et spacieuse.

Good location and nearby underground parking for our car. However, hair in the shower (not ours) and no ventilation at all in the en-suite toilet was not up to 5*standard.

Great view of medieval city. Our door to the patio would not close and lock unless you slammed it really really hard, and the safe battery was too low for the safe to work so we couldn’t open the safe after we locked it. The reception guy offered us his master key. We only stayed one night so we said it was fine the safe didn’t work. Weird thing was there was no room phone so we had to go down to reception to report the problem.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The bathroom came with a tub. Bathroom was spacious. The water pressure was amazing. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel has an amazing view of the citadel. We did not have a room with a view but many rooms have full view of the citadel. The only minor issue was the room was a little too tight with not much room for our luggage. We recommend this hotel.

La propreté est à revoir (moquette, tâches douteuses sur les murs et fauteuils, WC). La literie est mauvaise et la disposition de notre chambre (familiale) mériterait d'être repensée (2 lits doubles côte à côte)

Accueil sympathique et personnel serviable. La vue des chambres sur la cite est magnifique. Les chambres sont néanmoins petites.

The good:The hotel is in a central location near to the chateaux, within walking distance of restaurants and most of the sites in Carcassonne. It was clean and modern with a nice looking, but pricey restaurant on site. The bad: The big negative for me was the shower/tub combination. The tub which is about 18 - 24 inches high is downright dangerous when you combine that with the slippery tile on the tub floor. This is a no/no for seniors and people with mobility issues. In addition, the narrow tub has a glass enclosure on one side which allows water to leak onto the bathroom floor. Lastly, in our room there was one facial tissue in box of tissues in a room that we had just gotten the keys to.

We were very happy with our stay. Great location from which to visit the old and new city. Super friendly staff!! The room was large with a wonderful balcony overlooking the old city. Nice garden with areas to sit and sip wine. We would stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel.

Spacious rooms with generous balconies. Bathrooms also a good size, but badly designed with space wasted. Good location with balcony views of the citadel.

Sadly the images of the terrace are misleading for most rooms. The image is of a terrace is for the top floor panoramic rooms only, whereas most rooms don’t get much of the sun and are covered by greenery. They use the same terrace image for all rooms on the booking, which implies lots of sinshine (no roof).

Point positif : Personnel attentionné, belle chambre avec vue sur la cité. Point négatif : l'insonorisation des chambres. On y a passé la pire nuit de notre vie dans un hotel en raison d'une insonorisation de la chambre inexistante à la fois avec les chambres mitoyennes dans lesquelles on entend absolument tout (discussions, rires, portes qui claquent ...) et l'exterieur (bruits voitures, chien qui aboie et j'en passe). L'impression de dormir la fenetre grande ouverte... une catastrophe.

Gréât staff at the hotel. Special thanks to Brice. Wonderful view from room overlooking the chateau of Carcassonne. Location is good, can walk to the Chateau in 5 to 10 minutes. Short walk of 5 minutes to Place Carnot for restaurants.

The staff were amazing. Moktar was friendly and charming. He made us feel like family. And manager Caesar was wonderful.

Property was in a great location, easy walk to Cite, easy walk to restaurants ,& shops. I thought the reception area was understaffed, especially as there is a bar area beside it , & only I staff member doing both jobs. Johan did a great job under pressure.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans vôtre hôtel, premier soir ,nous n'avons pas eu d'électricité pour recharger nos smartphone, ni pour la clim, ni le frigo, ni la lumière dans la salle de bain... Obligé de dormir la fenêtre ouverte, réveillés en sursaut à 7h30 par l'alarme incendie... Ce genre d'incident peut arriver même dans un hôtel 5 étoiles mais on juge l'hôtel dans sa capacité a gérer ce type d'incident. Ils auraient pu nous offrir l'accès au SPA, le repas... une remise... La personne de l'accueil ne savait absolument pas gérer ce genre de situation... Il m'a promis que je serais rappelé rapidement... 3 jours après, je n'ai toujours pas de nouvelles...

Positif : Bénéficie de la belle rénovation par l’ancienne chaîne Hilton, jolie vue. Chambres et balcons spacieux, belle salle de bains. Mais : Piscine libre mais accès jacuzzi/hammam/sauna payant. Choix de cet hôtel car situé à quelques minutes d’amis chez qui nous allions passer le 31. Aucune flexibilité pour libérer la chambre le jour de l’An même si hôtel non complet (Check-in 16h et check-out 11h). Opté pour un late check-out à 14h avec supplément, validé à la réservation et prélevé dès l’arrivée. Au retour vers 3h, porte close, réception éteinte et sans aucune mention de contact sur les portes vitrées ni à proximité, sonné à l’interphone, rien. Appel à l’hôtel : pas plus de réponse. L’hôtel jumelé d’à côté nous a permis de rentrer par le passage intérieur. Le lendemain vers 11h30 un appel pour nous dire que la chambre devait être libérée à 11h et qu’il fallait partir ; agacée, je rappelle que nous avons payé pour cela mais ça n’avait pas été vérifié. J’évoque notre impossibilité de rentrer dans la nuit, ce à quoi on me répond “Je ne sais pas, moi je suis du matin”… Lors du départ le responsable de la réception n’a eu que faire de nos remarques “chaque hôtel a son fonctionnement” et a soutenu la présence au matin d’une pancarte avec un numéro à l’entrée. Nous étions 2, rien n'était écrit, même en petit. Si pancarte il y a eu, probablement été placée après notre retour après s’être rendus compte de l’oubli. Hôtel en VIP access (10€ à dépenser) mais ne sont pas au courant.

Great location and good for walking around city and sites. Large, bright, modern decor rooms. Parking nearby, book in advance to ensure slot. We highly recommend.

The location is superb for exploring the area and the views of the city are as good as you will get. Very helpful staff who can’t do enough for you. Excellent value for money

The l9cation of the hotel is ideal being just by the bridge leading to the old town and Castle

Un 5 estrellas con zumo industrial, no ponen zumo natural, la fruta sin pelar, poca variedad en el desayuno, no reponen sino les pides, colchon de mala calidad.

The location of this property was perfect for our short stay to explore La Cite. Outstanding view from our balcony up toward the medieval city. We arrived in Carcassonne by train and it was only a short 15 minute walk away to the hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient. Whilst the breakfast options were good I did find on all 3 mornings that the mushrooms and scrambled eggs were cold. But that is my only gripe. Would recommend.

Staff were superb, the view from the hotel was fantastic towards the old city/ castle and a short walk across the old bridge to the old town was 5 mins. The hotel had an indoor swimming pool which we used, it was clean and fresh towels were sat on the recliners next to the pool. We stayed on a bed and breakfast and every morning you had the choice of cooked, fresh ham, cheese and pastries. A small niggled for me was the dinner menu never changed the whole time we were there and we felt it could had a bit of a difference but each to their own. A great stay made easier by the staff and standard of service. I would recommend a stay here 100%

Make sure to book a city view room. Our 3rd floor corner room was spacious with two double beds, a bath and separate shower and most importantly stunning views across the Aude of the Pont Vieux and the old city. We stayed two nights with breakfast included. Breakfast had a good selection including champagne, much to my wife’s delight, and you could have it in the air conditioned breakfast/restaurant or on the terrace. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but would reiterate that the view from the balcony was a major factor in our enjoyment. If it’s the same for you make sure to book a city view room.

The hotel was excellent however the restaurant not so good. On our first night of two the manager tried to charge us for four extra drinks and if I hadn’t pointed this out we would have been charged. In the second night we booked into the restaurant and were told that out of an already sparse choice, two were unavailable. This was put down to it being a new menu. We left and ate in town
