Good place i will visit again.Unfortunately the patio and the pool was out of service so we couldn't experience that part, but What we like is that they have a ping-pong table and a mini basketball game witch we enjoyed, also the under ground restaurant, Food was delicious.

The atmosphere is very relaxing, it is a beautiful three story hotel with plenty of sitting space in different areas inside and outside of the hotel. The room was very cleaned, bed very comfortable, good size tv. It has a pool table, Jacuzzi, two medium size pools, free breakfast and a restaurant on site named Bajo Tierra which offers excellent food and drinks. We stayed two nights, I needed more!

Perfectly fine stay, but a ways south of Tecate so there's not much to walk to around the hotel. Feels like a Comfort Inn that's been upgraded and refurbished. Gated security and a pleasant atmosphere -- with pool table, basketball hoop, and ping pong on level one (as well as a pool and hot tub, although those were closed in March). Their breakfast was nice, and the staff is very attentive, so it's worthy of a return trip.

This is my favorite hotel in Tecate. This time we stayed in the family room which is equipped for 4 adults. I had a last minute request to accommodate an additional adult and they had no problem adding a sofabed in the room for a very affordable fee. Free breakfast, excellent customer service, bicycles available for free, pool table, two pools, one with shade, restaurant Bajo Tierra on site (closed in Mondays), gas station next to the hotel, taqueria right across the street. Best place for anyone to stay in. Yes, I am a fan 😊

Nice hotel, love the security upon entering. Parking felt safe and secure. Check in was easy. Got my keys at 6pm and left. I came back at midnight and I was greeted nicely from the parking security guard. Double bed room was large and clean. Got the top floor. Stairs are a pain but its okay. Beds were comfy and soft. Shower was nice. Only cold or lukewarm water, no hot water. Free breakfast was a plus. Super delicious chilaquiles. Note that the milk is served at room temperature. Pool area and outside is very nice. They have a restaurant underground that I didnt get to try but looked very nice.

My second time here. The staff are really helpful. Everyone at the desk speaks perfect english, if that matters to you. My spanish is fine but was useless here. The place has a very local decor and architecture, and includes a cool underground bar (cavo). The restaurant is also very good and very reasonable. They have a small pool and recreation area that has views of the local mountains. Altogether very cool.

I checked in at 3pm. They move my stuff out of my room, don’t notify you and then proceed to give my room to someone else at 5pm. They don’t give me a different room and then refuse to give a refund. Mind you, I booked this hotel 3-4 weeks prior to the event i was going to.

Hotel Hacienda Santana is close to the center of Tecate. It is a beautiful hotel with many antiques artfully displayed through the public area. It would have been nice to have a cleaner hot tub and a bar that served something besides beer, but overall we recommend it highly.

This place is outside TECATE towards ensenada. The parking is safe but when getting out of the parking is unsafe traffic is heavy. I was given a room with a door to the other room. Ask the attendant to switch room because I felt like the other guests in the other room could open that door he said he could not do it. The hotel don't have an elevator. Also ask for a room downstairs and he said that single bed are only in the 3rd floor. They didn't offer to help carry the bags. The room was clean, sheets smell clean, had shampoo and conditioner dispenser. The restroom had half of toilet paper.

This Hotel on a great location for me, is near my family plus a little out of the downtown area and towards the road to Ensenada and Ruta de el Vino.... I have stay there several times and I have never been disappoint at all, I would highly recommend it to everyone...

Overall, we thought the place was great--lots of nice sitting areas, antique items, pool table, and ping pong. The price was fair, though the hot tub wasn't working. Worst part was the breakfast that was so understaffed that the people were lined up practically begging for weak coffee, plastic spoons, and small portions of eggs. Where was the management to help the overwhelmed staff out? This was terrible. I would stay again but I would just decide to eat breakfast elsewhere.

We enjoyed the stay, the beds were comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. The heat in the room only worked if you turned it up all the way and let it run for several hours. We visited during the winter and were disappointed that the Cave bar was closed. They had a small bar set up in the lobby, and the drinks were good, but it lacked atmosphere. The hotel's restaurant is closed permanently and has been replaced by a Ricardo's. Ricardo's always has good food, but nothing out of the ordinary. We'd like to return when the weather warms up and the pools are open.
