Standard room on 2nd floor is tight. Ok for one person or couple. Noticeable wear & tear in shower door, area hang clothing & night stands. Best thing-cost effective with bar/restaurant onsite. Understaffed, should hire dedicated bartender. Worst thing pool under maint & room is small.

I appreciate being able to check in early. 2 things 1-Showers i feel need to be cleaned a little better. There was mold in the shower. 2- The TV situation, its placed so high on the wall its tiring to watch! Plus tried diligently to get English news to no avail. Very quiet i enjoyed that! Pool was super cloudy didn't get to get in. Thank you

Nice newly renovated property…. Pool being completed whiled we were there. Staff just amazingly helpful and friendly. Awesome onsite dining and bar. Location was convenient for our needs and safe on site parking included. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

There is a pool, an affordable restaurant ( free coffee and ice.) The price is much higher than I previously paid, and there is no desk for the laptop, and I was unable to fix the TV to English. The staff is very courteous. The rooms are very clean They'll give you a free ride to the dentist, or, you can walk. Everything is nearby. The sidewalks are all very treacherous, crooked, damaged, dangerous. I still did not have good luck with my dental outcomes. This was the 5th trip in about a year, and still disappointed.

The pool area is a little in need of painting. Our room needed a night light repaired. Everything else was perfect. Minor things don’t matter because they fix everything if you let them know. Will continue to stay here. Expedia said there was room for 29 a night but when I tried to book it wasn’t available. However the

Air conditioner worked well. Hot water was a little sketchy but had enough. On site restaurant was great with a decent bar. Staff was great. Didn't use the pool but it looked wonderful. I'd definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at California Comfort & Suites. Having the coffee shop and restaurant right there was wonderful. Since we have a hard time walking a lot the shuttle service was perfect. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. We have to go back and we will book there again. Only complaint was the beds were harder than we are used to and it would be nice if they had a table and two chairs in the room to do computer work, play cards etc. Our double bed room could fit a table and chairs with some minor rearranging. Just a suggestion that would have made it even better.

Very easy to walk to. Just a five minute walk to where all the dentists and shopping are. There is parking but only room for maybe 3 vehicles inside their lot. For a quick overnight dental visit you cant go wrong with staying at this place

I stayed here for 4 nights while getting dental work done in Los Algodones. Super convenient and close to Dental Solutuons. My biggest issues…it really could be cleaner. I CHECKED. A little attention to detail can go a long way. The restaurant really made it worth it for me. Easy and affordable…and was decent. The staff was super nice and the coffee shop in the lobby was also super easy and the donuts DIVINE. Bottom line I was there for dental work like everyone else. So if you’re recovering and laying around in your room….please let it be clean.

This is a wonderful hotel with comfortable beds and a restaurant on site. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are very clean. We asked for a room by the pool and they gave us the perfect one. There was cold water in the refrigerator. Love this place.

The staff was nice. The pool clean. The bed very hard and the sheets had some stains. The pillows were very hard and flat.They should upgrade both. The grout on the floors and in shower was extremely dirty. I wore my flip flops in the shower. The rest of the room was clean. It is probably equivalent to a motel 6 in the U.S. It's location is good and having a restaurant on site was very nice. The restaurant was good,but slow. We felt very safe there.

The floor was not clean, I saw some hair on the bathroom, the bed room and ON the toilet. There were neither shampoo nor conditioner. The bed sheets had yellow stains.

Room needed a taller toilet, or toliet riser or grab bar for disabled persons. The shower had amazing water pressure, however shower floor was so slippery I almost slipped. Perhaps rinse the shower floors or add a shower mat. Would appreciate a bath mat instead of using a towel on the floor. Beds were ridiculously hard, as were the pillows. Room was small, but ok. Couch was dirty. The staff were very friendly and tried to help in any way they can. I would suggest that the owners replace mattresses and pillows. Definitely overdue for a redo. I appreciate the rides to the dental clinic, but got dinged on the deposit as i had some blood drool on the pillow case. No problem, my drool. Restaurant attached is sub par, however, the cheesecake was perfect! Service was great, drinks even better! Don't book a room around the pool. Smokers, and lots of noise if you are looking for an early night.

It’s a cute hotel. Very clean. We really liked that it had a coffee shop, small restaurant and bar. The auxiliary rooms across the street aren’t as nice. We asked to be moved to the main building and they accommodated us. The very big drawback were the pillows. My husband and I both had messed up necks because the pillows are such poor quality. We asked for extra pillows and we were told they didn’t have any. Next time we will bring travel pillows. Otherwise, we loved this place.

This property is a great location for those going down for dental care in los Algodones. It is very clean and convenient. The staff is limited so service can be very slow and sometimes rude, but eventually everything worked out perfectly. My only complaint was that when I checked in with my 84-year-old mother I realized I was on the third floor. I asked if there was a lower floor and she said no After carrying all three loads of our personal items up three flights of stairs, she saw my mother and realized we needed the lower floor, then moved us to a room that she miraculously had on the first floor so I had to carry all my stuff three flights down three trips again. The beds are very comfortable, but the pillows leave a lot to be desired. The room in the photo was not the room we had. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed. Be sure to have your Netflix sign in because most all of the TV programming provided is in Spanish. There is a great little restaurant downstairs as well as a fantastic donuts/coffee shop. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely return for the convenience and cleanliness.

Terrible stay here, room was not as described. We paid extra for an executive room with desk, there was no desk it was a sofa table. Room we got was the cheap room on the photos. I complained to the front desk, lady was unhelpful and unfriendly. She said there were no other rooms and when I asked for a manager she said he wasn’t available til Later in the day. Room was dirty with stains on the bedding. Neighbour kept smoking outside our room and leaving his cigarette butts outside our door. Food in the restaurant was not good. Next time I would stay elsewhere and either choose another hotel or stay on the US side of the border

Staff was cheerful and professional handling my repeated need to add nights last minute. Isabell was particularly helpful. The whole town is safe, and this property was no different. The rooms, I had 3, have all modern furnishings. Crisp, clean bedding and nice towels. Good restaurant onsite. Good WiFi. Great location! New section was a much quieter stay. Well staffed! I’ll be back.

Made it so easy to shop. The Hotel had a specialty coffee shop with great donuts, a bar and restaurant. The restaurant served excellent food. I would high recommend eating there! We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again. All the people that work there were so nice, helpful and took wonderful care of our needs.

I stayed at this hotel a total of 8 days in three separate visits within a one month period. The staff are super nice - Laura (front desk) is friendly and helpful. The food at their restaurant is inexpensive, delicious, and the portions are generous. The tortilla soup is outstanding. The steak tampiquena is my fave. I honestly can’t say anything negative about the property. I enjoyed the food so much I ate all my meals here. The coffee shop just off the lobby opens at 7am but I was always able to get fresh, hot and strong coffee earlier and never was treated like an inconvenience. I have more dental work to be performed and am looking forward to my stay here.
